His sword touched the ground and there was a silence for a moment.
The demons waiting silently, the armies patiently watching the Demon King.
And something finally happened.
The earth shook violently causing many to trip on their feet and Jay and McElroy holding the railings as support.
Then the sky became clear in the path of the sword swing.
The rays of the sun pierced through the clouds and reflected themselves on the water revealing the blue and deep color of water. As light once again started scattering and only the blue wavelength for reflected.
Lloyd :
Is that what the sky looks like?
Lloyd Frontera had never even once looked at the clear sky since his hometown was always covered with clouds and he wasnt able to leave his household.
The earth shook once more. And all the water calmed down all the whirlpools disappeared the fast currents came to an halt.
But suddenly the water started flowing in a reverse direction and they created a path forward.
The water receded from the island and the beach of the mainland and separated themselves and they separated themselves into two sides without any drop of water remaining behind.
A path between island of demons and the mainland was formed. A wall of water was created on either sided and the fishes living in these waters were taken by the flow and not one of them remained on the path.
It was like Moses had incarnated and just like in the story he split the seas. And formed a path to the other side.
Ikaros : Points his sword towards the mainland.
ATTACK.
There was a huge roar of the demons on the battlefield. They banged all the weapons that the has and created an intimidating threat to the humans.
The voices of the demons roared on the battlefield while the humans were shocked by the splitting of the seas.
But they recovered.
One of the kings roared.
King :
We won't lose to the demons. Everyone attack.!!
At that moment everyone was proven wrong it was nor naval or aerial battle but it was a battle on land in the middle of the sea.
Jay and McElroy who watched the scene unfold.
Had a different reaction.
Jay :
Wow that was very dramatic wasn't it.
McElroy :
I know we were Wrong about the method of attack. But damn I'm impressed.
With their remarks they headed off to the battlefield.
And the War on the Demons finally begun after a long wait
