Loki was an ordinary boy with abusive parents in prison. What happens when he becomes something stronger? He is forced to go to military school for 2 years. He learns new powers, makes friends, and discovers a sinister plot. Now, it's up to him, his friends, and (unexpected) allies to come together and stop the evil plan that could wipe out half the humanity.
(Note: this story doesn't focus on the system that Loki has that much, it focuses more on the plot.)

The Laufeyson Bloodline System

The week had flown by, and it was already time for their next Abilities class where they would go through a portal for their first time. Loki had 1660 credits stored in his Inventory, and was drinking some water, completing his Daily Challenge.


"You sure do drink a lot of water," Saltavore commented.


Loki shot a slightly worried look at his friends while mentally telling Daphne, 'Distract them please.'


Daphne winked at Loki discreetly. "Nishan, Saltavore, you know that I could beat you both while blindfolded?"


Nishan's competitiveness flared up instantly. "Like hell you could!"


With Nishan and Saltavore successfully distracted from Loki's drinking habits, the six of them headed to the classroom.


When they arrived there, they noticed that no one else but Mr. Joshua was there.


"Hello, kids," Mr. Joshua gave them a creepy smile.


"Um, Mr. Joshua? Where's everyone else?" Nishan looked around in confusion.


"Nishan, Saltavore, your parents asked us to train you to become tougher and stronger. Lately, it seems that you're hanging out with your traitor cousin a lot."


"Well," Saltavore started. "Well, our parents asked us to, you know, convince her."


"Indeed," Mr. Joshua's smile grew wider. "However, your parents has decided to take a more direct approach."


"Direct approach?" Loki asked, suspicion flaring.


Suddenly, a portal opened beneath their feet. They noticed that mana crystals had been places around where they had been standing.


"Bring us out this instant!" Nishan ordered, struggling as they were sucked into the portal by gravity. "You'll hear from our parents!"


"Mr. Joshua gave a small chuckle. "Nishan, your parents are the ones who told us to do this. Ordered us, even. They wanted those low-levels to accidentally die, Daphne to either get some sense knocked into her or die as well, and for you two to man up and get the guts to kill."


"How would you even frame this as an accident?" Loki's finger's was gripping the edge of the floor, being the only thing from keeping him and the rest of them from falling into the purple portal.


"You guys were late to class and missed the trip, so you decided to mess around with mana crystals instead. Nishan and Saltavore bravely tried to stop you, but got sucked into the portal as well."


"How could you send us into a purple portal?" Terrence exclaimed, his fingers trying to find a grip on the smooth floor as well.


"Very simply," Mr. Joshua smirked, bending down and slowly prying Loki's fingers of the floor.


"At least tell us where you're sending us!" Seraphine cried out. "Is it an uncleared world?"


"Oh, raid parties have been there alright," Mr. Joshua cackled. "They just never made it back alive."


"I hope you enjoy a world of high-ranked beasts, active volcanoes, deep jungles and poisonous plants," Mr. Joshua smirked. "You'll be enjoying a nice trip to Romania."


Parents are really horrible, aren't they?
