Oreburgh City

Pokemon center

Sky had just entered the Pokemon center when he saw Ask, Dawn, Brock and Paul.

Ash was saying that Paul had given his Azumarill to some kid.

"Kid, Why didn't you gave it to me? I don't have a second Pokemon you know."

Sky said, scaring them.

"Who are you?"

Paul asked.

"I am Sky. I am a Gym Challenger like yourself. I lack a second Pokemon. You should have asked me at least. What a waste of a good Azumarill."

"Why should I ask you to give my own Pokemon to others? You are a Challenger yourself, why didn't you catch one yourself."

Paul asked.

"I didn't have time to catch one."

"So, how was your match Paul. Congratulations for your win. "

Sky asked Paul trying to divert the Topic.

"Why should I tell you? Why are you ac- How did you know? The match has not broadcasted till now."

"I heard their conversation earlier."

Sky said while pointing at the Ash Trio.

"Oh, so those blabbermouth told you."

Paul said while giving the trio a menacing glare.

They indeed were talking about his match so they were unable to refute at that.

"Did you also take part in the Gym battle Sky?"

Brock said to Sky trying to ease the atmosphere.

"Well yeah. I even won the match."

Sky said while showing them his Coal Badge.

"But you said you one just one Pokemon."

Paul asked. This time his expression changed a little.

"Indeed, I just have a single Pokemon and I just used it to defeat all the three of Roark Pokemons."

Sky replied as a matter of fact. He was saying the truth anyway. His Riolu did beat all the Pokemons of Roark and he got the Coal Badge. Who cares about the little details that are left untold.

Who cares.

"Let's battle Sky."

Ash as always wanted a battle.

"I refuse. My Riolu is really tired and it needs rest. Goodbye."

Sky left after saying those. He needed to read the trainer guidebook. To be precise, he was going to memorize it and use it only when he was going to challenge a Gym battle.

Meanwhile

Ash, Paul and Brock were left in bewilderment. All of them were pro trainers and all of them had seen his Riolu just half a month ago. His Riolu was still a child and it was weak at that. To win with that Riolu, it was a testament of how much of a good trainer Sky was.

If anyone of them knew the truth then they would vomit blood from their hearts.

Money was power. It was a well established fact wherever you go.

Dawn meanwhile was keeping her distance from him. She didn't have a good impression of him since the beginning and it has not improved even now.

She was keeping her eyes straight but her gaze went to his body. Due to his soaked semi transparent shirt. She was able to see many things. She was a girl in puberty and she was entranced by him. By his figure to be more exact.

She wanted to look more but he was gone from her sight. She felt disappointed.

'I should not feel this way. What is happening to you Dawn.'

If Sky was here, then his answer would be: Puberty. You are going through puberty.

Returning to normal perspective.

Sky returned to his room and showered. He then went to the cafeteria while placing the food for Riolu near her Pokeball. His pokeball has the same settings as Brock. The Pokemons can choose to go inside or come outside on its own.

She would eat it when she woke up. She had this bad habit of not sharing her food with anyone. She would quietly eat her food or just come to him with her food bowl and eat it infront of him.

He was still unable to understand what she meant by that even now. He was called a Psychopath because of his inability to understand lots of emotions of the other people. Those who he had killed that is.

He went to the Cafeteria. He went to choose the food from the buffet system and choose to pay. The money that was paid would be given to trusts that will provide the chances to many other kids.

He can at least do something small like that plus the amount he ate was not that much. He only ate a lot when he was emotionally unstable whether be it happiness or depression.

His Riolu came to him with her food bowl. She really was a weird thing.

He took his food tray and went to her. The cafeteria was not that much crowded. They found a seat and sat down.

"You really are weird. You could have just said so and we would have eaten together everyday. Here have some pickled Apple from me. I can just go and take more."

While those two were eating. Four gazes were focused at their location.

Paul who was sitting alone. He was eating his lunch.

Ash, Dawn and Brock who were eating in a group.

All the four people were looking at his Riolu. Pikachu also looked at his Riolu.

Sky was ignoring them. He was eating his food. The food was really good. The food here is better than Jubilife City. Jubilife City was the second largest city in Sinnoh and this small Pokemon center's food surpassed it! It was amazing in itself.

He ate lots of it. He like the French fries the most. There were five biggest servings on his table and his was leisurely eating it.

He was in bliss. Riolu was eating normally.

Five minutes later.

Sky had eaten his fill and was resting a little. He wanted to look around the town and enjoy the things here.

He saw the sight of Ash, Dawn, Brock and Paul in the Cafeteria. Since they all were eating, he didn't go to disturb them. He didn't like to be disturbed during eating. He knew the level of annoyance a person would feel.

Plus he nearly died the last time he interrupted the Rational one's meal.

He still wonder why did he join that group in which except the kid who didn't want to kill, everyone could kill him without anycare. He praises his past self for entering a den where he would not even know how he died. His past self was fearless.

Now the current him has turned into a docile cat.

"Haah, Life is unfair."
