Oreburgh City

Pokemon Center

"... All the researchers and guards were killed. It was done by a Pokemon. Extremely strong at that. Most of the people didn't even get the chance to do anything before they got killed. We first thought that Team Galactic must have sent someone to wipe the researchers but we are wrong. Most of the research data was left. The only ones destroyed was by the head researcher after he sent it to the Galactic headquarters."

"We don't who that was, but whatever they wanted must be something really important for them to raid the Galactic research laboratory."

"Fortunately none of the Pokemons were released or we would have to wipe the whole place out. We were able to contain all the Pokemons with the help of the data from the lab."

"Can you send me the list of Pokemons there, I want to have a look."

"Ok. Do you want to have one of those. I must warn you, you should not take them. They are not like the Pokemons in the wild."

"Just looking. Nothing else."

Sky was given the list and he started looking at it. He was interested in the extra capabilities of the experimented Pokemons. He looked at the list and checked most of the Pokemons. Soon he found what he was looking for.

"I want that Absol. Can you send it to me. Take it as the price for getting the location of the Team Galactic research base."

Sky said to Looker.

Looker looked at the Absol that Sky wanted. He checked it's information.

"Are you serious! I refuse. You can die by this one. She is mentally unstabled and will attack anyone. She also doesn't like human contact. You should choose another one or we can find a better Absol from the wild for you. Just give us a day and we will find a better one."

"I want that Absol. I just know that I will be able to handle her. She can't be stronger than Darkrai right. If I am able to survive him then I will tame her anyway. Plus I felt really familiar with her so let me. The Riolu will still be with me. If I really can't then I will tell her to restrain her. She is strong you know."

"... Ok but Gardevoir will also be with you till you tame her perfectly. I will reach to Oreburgh City in half an hour by the way. There are many things we need to discuss."

"Ok. Make sure to bring my Riolu."

Sky said.

"I have already sent it to you. Check your mailbox."

Looker replied helplessly.

"I will. Bye."

"I am reaching the place in a few minutes, why are you acting like I am going instead."

"Just a habit."

Sky stopped the video call with Looker. He went to receive his Riolu and both the other Pokemons.

"Hi, Nurse Joy. Can I take my Pokemons. I need them for my upcoming journey."

Sky said to Nurse Joy.

"Of course you can. Here are their Pokeballs. Personally I thought you were one of those guys who were trying to get on my good books but I feel ashamed right now. I am sorry for giving you the first job. It was something that the staff had to do and it has nothing to do with the Pokemon Center quests."

"Don't worry. Plus I am a widower, I just tease others for fun but I still love my wife."

Sky replied.

"Huh... You don't look more than 21-22 year old to me though, are you lying?"

Nurse Joy was befuddled by his statement.

"I am actually 27 mentally. My physical age just looks younger than most. Plus you also look no more than 20 but you are more than 30."

Sky said innocently.

"You should not talk about a lady's age like that. You must love her a lot if you can't move on."

Nurse Joy said while diverting the topic on her age.

"I do. She was a charming woman."

Sky said while smiling a little.

"She was? I am sorry once again."

Nurse Joy just realised she may have done something bad.

"No, you don't need to. She never taught me to be sad. So there was no need for you to apologise. She was happy at that moment."

Once again an awkward moment between them was created.

"Here are you Pokemons."

Finally Nurse Joy broke her silence.

"Thanks."

Sky thanked her for treating both the Pokemons and went to the nearby Pokemon transfer PC to get Riolu.

He entered his ID and trainer Pokedex and then connected to his storage then took her Pokeball from it.

Done. So simple.

He took all the three Pokeballs and went outside in the trainer's park.

He released them.

"Voir."

"Magmor."

And then.

"Rio rio riolu rio rio riooooluuu."

Riolu looked at Sky and then started rioing non-stop while climbing on his leg.

'She has opened up a lot in just a single night.'

She was practically clinging to him.

This was because she thought that Sky had abandoned her after getting the strong Pokemons when she opened her eyes to find Looker looking at her.

She immediately tried to escape but was stopped by the Croagunk before she was trapped in her Pokeball once again.

"I am fine little one. I told you, I will not leave you. You were just too weak so I deposited you to a friend for safekeeping."

Sky said while smiling.

Both the Gardevoir and Magmortar were looking at him in amazement.

Riolu's cheerful attitude immediately wnet downhill. Her ears were hung low.

"Rioooo"

She chirped in depression and sadness.

"Just joking kid. Didn't I told you already. I will make you stronger. How could I do that if you are not weaker. "

Sky said to her. This time rubbing her head.

"Riolu riooluu. Rio rio riolu."

She said in elation and happiness.

"I still don't understand but here have some crispy honey glazed Apple cone with a strawberries and green Apple slices. It also has Apple glazed suace and Apple cream. It is also provided in three different Apple flavours and guess what? I have brought all three of them. 30 pieces each."

Sky said alluring to Riolu. With each word, she was drooling heavily.

"Rio rio rio rio lu riooooluuu rio lu lu rio"

"Well here have it. You guys too. Enjoy your last meal with me."

Sky gave a cone to all of them. He himself took one. The grape flavoured one.

All of them were enjoying their treat in the perfect weather of Sinnoh region.

Riolu was the most happy of them. She was not abandoned and she was not a disappointment to her trainer.

She vowed to trainer harder so she can protect him.
