Sky looked at the sky

Sky was in the underground experiment lab of the Team Galactic.

He had killed a few more Pokemons that he encountered when he was looking for the perpetrator.

On his path, he found many bodies, be it Pokemons or researchers. There was just a single problem, there were no footprints.

"Something is definitely wrong here so be on alert cuz if the situation turns out to be out of control then, one of you will be left to bide time for the others to escape. Understood."

Sky was becoming a little bored of all the passages, so he decided to joke a little.

Sky was trying to find his way out of the weird passages when Absol warned it.

"Sol Absol"

"Get behind me then, around 10 metres away. "

Sky ordered his Pokemons and went to see the danger. It was a really familiar Pokemon, one whose Sky's body will never forget.

[Who is that Pokemon?]

"What are you doing here?"

"I am for the Galactic."

"You first."

Both the Darkrai and Sky looked at each other while saying that.

You get it right. It was a Darkrai.

The top of its body is connected to the lower half by a tiny waist, giving it an hourglass shaped figure. It has a red spiky growth around its neck and a long white mane flows from its head, obscuring one of its blue eyes. Its thin arms have three claws each, with three spiky protrusions above each elbow. Its shoulders also have long tatters and it appears to be wearing an old ripped cloak or dress. It is able to extend stilt-like extensions to use as legs.

Darkrai resembles a ghost or a haunted spirit but it is interesting to note that, despite it's design, Darkrai is not a Ghost type, instead being a pure Dark type.

"So what are you doing here?"

Darkrai asked Sky. It talked in human tongue.

"Well, that's what I want to ask you? Wait you can talk? Why didn't you talk at that time then?"

"Doesn't involve you. You said that you are here for the Galactic, do you need something from them or are you one of the International Police agents?"

"You also said you are for the Galactic. Trying to avenge your previous trainer? Well how praiseworthy~"

"Don't you dare talk about her. What in the world are you in here alone then? Where are the others?"

"Still on their way? I am strong so I thought, maybe, I should also have a nice trip down here."

"Are you mad or something, who comes to places like this alone?"

"Are you caring for me? ( ˘ ³˘)♥ So sweet."

"I am not caring for you!"

"Yeah, yeah, let's go Riolu, Absol, no time to waste here."

"Riolu."

"Ab sol."

Just as they were going towards the direction that the Darkrai came. A loud thump was heard.

THUMP.

BAAANG.

BONNG.

KHARADAAAAA.

Sky looked at the Absol. The Absol shook her head three times. No danger to them .

"Wait a minute— isn't that the place where we came form? Keep quiet and silently follow me. If there is an emergency, notify me immediately. Use your senses to the fullest."

Sky said to them while ignoring the Darkrai.

Three minutes later.

Sky was standing in front of the rubble. The ground cave in. Now the only know way they had to go back was destroyed. The Darkrai was looking like he had lost his everything but Sky and his Pokemons didn't notice that.

"Now, listen to the new scenario. We are about 300 metres below the ground level. That's also our guess. The place or the floor we are in right now is going to cave in just a few minutes, half~ an hour at the maximum."

"Now we need to get out of this floor, as soon as we can. So listen to the plan. Follow every order that you have been given. Don't make me say twice and do it faster. Other main plans, according to the situation at hand. Understood."

Both the Riolu and Absol nodded once. Sky also nodded to them and then began to move forward with them.

"There is no point in going there. We are doomed."

The Darkrai said gloomily. It was floating listlessly.

"Why do you say that? We just need to find a way."

"There is no way?"

"Why do you— you were not saying that because you cared for me? You were also running away from something. That's why you asked if the International Police came with me or not, right? What is it? What are you running from?"

"Do you know the structure of this place? We are in the b2, aka basement second. It is above the b3 and b4. The Pokemons in this lab are experimented on different floors according to their danger level. B3 and B4 are where the most powerful of them are controlled and experimented on."

"Above us are the floors S10 to S1 in ascending order. Those are the for Pokemons that can be easily subdued. The researchers dorms and cafeteria are also in that."

"The whole experiment lab is made like a top. The highest floor has the most space and then the space shrinks down with every level."

"Okay, I can understand that by looking at the floor plan, so what are you trying to say?"

Darkrai was going to continue but he was interrupted by Sky.

"Listen to the complete situation first and then talk. I was going to kill like the last time but as I was killing the humans, a spy from Team Plasma released all the Pokemons in the commotion."

"So now all the Pokemons are released."

"So according to you information, we just need to avoid the stronger Pokemons and then get out of here. Easy. We just won't go to the B3 and B4. Such a simple thi—"

"They have gone to the upper floor and... "

"I understand, don't say it."

"And the only exit is on the topmost floor."

"Hah~ Any idea of their strength. You yourself is pretty strong. I have heard that you were able to defeat a member of the actual team from the strongest Gym leader of Hoenn."

"The weakest member. I have grown stronger than that time but so are they."

Sky sat down. The Riolu also came to sit with him. The Absol did the same.

Riolu was able to sense the emotions of both the Darkrai and Sky while Absol knew of the strength of Darkrai due to her senses.

Three minutes later.

"Let's go."

"Did you not hear me? There is no point in doing so?"

"I have already died twice, so I am not afraid of death and I won't die due to some pathetic landslide. I... at least want to die by the hands or claws of a really good Pokemon or human. So come with me, I am pretty sure your trainer would be happy if you survive this."

"Don't yoy dare say her name."

Even though the Darkrai said that, he floated up. The Riolu and Absol also stood beside it. They all looked at Sky.

"How was the Kabutops if you were to rate it?"

Sky asked Darkrai. Darkrai came from the same side and was here longer than him, Darkrai also knew a lot of information of the lab, so Sky asked him.

"He was from floor S7."

"Ahh, then that would be manageable, should be."

"The S1 is an empty floor, S2 is the logistics, S3 is the researchers rest area, S4 is the cafeteria, S5 to S10 are the actual experiment floor. S7 is just the third floor. This is not the common floor that you encountered before. This is one of the 17 main laboratories that are in working conditions for more than 15 years."

"Before this, some other organisation used this. After Galactic came to power, they destroyed that organisation and took this lab for themselves."

"You are quite knowledge about this stuff."

"I got th knowledge from inside the researchers mind."

Sky widened the distance between them a little after hearing this. Darkrai saw this but chose to ignore it.

"So any lead or any surviving humans."

"The chances are far too low. The Pokemons from the lower floors especially went to the upper floors to kill them after all. The assistant researcher that I used also committed suicide to prevent the death of his family."

"We are on our own huh. Let's go duke it out then."

Sky said without any emotions. It had been a few minutes and they didn't have any problems. Everything was fine. There was not a single Pokemon in sight.
