Sky and his team went towards the stairs. There was just a single problem, the stairs were blocked by rubble.
"Any one of you know dig. Unlike the one on the other way, this one just pure mud and some other things. We could dig thr—"
SWOOSH
Darkrai attacked the mud and all. The mud and all the rubble was disintegrated. Darkrai calmly flew up.
Sky looked up and then towards his Pokemons. He recalled them and immediately prepared for a single jump.
SWISH.
Sky safely reach the B1. Darkrai was waiting for him. Sky looked at it. Darkrai also looked at Sky. Sky released his Pokemons. All of them silently moved towards the S10.
'Darkrai wasn't serious last time huh. With the firepower that it showed, it could have destroyed me completely. Why didn't he?'
Sky was thinking of this problem. He wasn't able to get the answer to it. He chose to ignore it. He would ask the Darkrai later.
All of them were silently going towards the path that Darkrai gave. Sky also checked the floor plan and due to his nearly eidetic memory, he was able to photograph it in his mind. This was just a side assurance in case Darkrai turned out to be a traitor.
Darkrai could feel the malice in Sky but chose to ignore it. It knew that it was the reason for the malice anyway.
They have already crossed more than half the B1 and they didn't find a single enemy.
"Sol absol."
Absol warned them of a danger. Sky and Darkrai both tensed. Sky knew that despite his cheering attitude that he was having he was terrified on the inside. He knew of the strength of Darkrai and he also knew that whatever was making it feel fear would not be something weak.
He had seen the attacks of Gardevoir. Everything in the surrounding 4 miles was destroyed and this was done after he had perfectly controlled his strength to cause as least damage to the forest as he can.
Just the Fire blast of the Magmortar burnt around 3 kilometres of the forest area before it was stopped by the Magmortar.
He was the most tensed of all the people present. He knew of his weakness and he also knew that his Pokemons were weak.
'Why did I come here anyway?'
Darkrai was the one who was tenser than Sky. Sky didn't know about the Pokemons but he do and that's why he was scared to face them.
All of them were going to enjoy the fear of the world and out came a Raticate.
The Raticate was roaring at them while charging at them. He was using quick attack.
It took a second for all of them, Sky, Darkrai, Riolu and Absol to come to terms with the situation.
In that time, the Raticate was already in front of Sky and attacked him. Sky immediately caught the Raticate with his arms and teared it in two.
"Fzzzing joke. We were fearing this. I feel pathetic now. If that Kabutops knew that we were being scared of this thing then he would have committed suicide on its own before I can kill it."
Darkrai also spread his awareness to all the B1. It was trying to check for everything. Darkrai would have not done that before but he was gutsy now.
"Just as I told you, those Pokemons from the lower basement killed everything in their path. Only the weakest ones are left one. Let's ignore them and reach the S1 right now. This floor is also going to cave in."
Sky picked up both the Absol and Riolu while Darkrai immediately melted into Sky's shadow.
"Are you sure you are a Dark type Pokemon cuz I feel like you are not."
Sky said while madly dashing towards the stairs for the S1. There was also a lift service but he didn't want to take chances. What if the lift was blocked in the middle of floors. Then they would not even have the chance to do anything.
The walls around the boundaries were made with solid, extremely durable metal that was 3 metres thick. The walls could hardly be damaged. That was also the reason why he didn't choose to dig. There was no way.
They reached the stairs in just a few seconds. Sky was faster than the race cars of the modern world with his speed.
Like last time, the stairs here were also covered with mud and rubble.
"Something is fishy."
Sky said while putting both of his Pokemons down.
"Don't use Hyper beam."
Sky went to check the mud and rubble. It was a little wet.
"All of you, back down a little."
Sky said to the Pokemons and then like an excavator, started removing the mud and rubble.
In less than a minute, he was able to get rid of more than 13 metres of rubble. He reached the wall. The wall was intact. He pushed the remaining rubble. The walls were perfectly intact.
"Someone is trying to trap us."
Darkrai said to Sky. He was trying to think of the perpetrator.
"Let's go fast. We will think of the best plan while on the way. This facility could not hold that much, and, umm, I think a Pokemon is behind the cave in. A strong one at that. So be on a lookout and try to escape. Not fight but to escape. "
"We don't have time. We literally don't have time. If whatever Pokemons that was sealed in the final chamber has gone up, then he will also try to get out. And of it gets out before us, we all will die."
"Because if it can destroy a whole floor 300 metres below the ground level then he would definitely destroy the facility that trapped him/ her for so long. Ignore my reference to masculine gender but I don't know it's gender and I don't care. You guys got the point."
All of them Nodded once.
"Why are you nodding too? Wanna be my Pokemon?"
Sky said to Darkrai.
"I refuse."
Darkrai replied instantly.
"That hurts."
Sky also joked a little. All in all, they went to the next floor.
The final joke was to ease the atmosphere.
He was feeling nostalgic and nauseating at the same time.
He calmed his mind and went ahead.
The Riolu was looking worriedly at her trainer. She felt the the change of emotions in Sky and this was the second time that it was this intense. The first time was before he drowned in the river.
"Don't worry. I will protect you. Just repay by protecting me later."
Sky said. To whom? They didn't know. Yet both the Pokemons felt assured by his words. They had seen his strength and they knew that he was strong.
