Lyle Wilson is a 17 year old student at West High. With his God like looks coupled with that brilliant brain of his, he is considered as the hunk of West High. As a typical hunk, he is the best at everything he does, with girls flocking around him, waiting to be noticed. But the one who really captures his eyes are those eyes behind that gold rimmed glasses, that girl behind those oversized clothes.

Ivy Gracia is a 17 year old student at West High. She is the type who would put her everything into studying but unlike what's expected, she isn't the topper of her class. Infact, she ranks just above average no matter how hard she tries. But, she isn't the hated nerd. She is liked for her simplicity, just like she wanted. 
She doesn't talk back. She doesn't fight. She doesn't drink or use substance. All her works are submitted on time. She doesn't bunk and has her attendance as a hundred percent. And she doesn't even use dirty slangs. She is that really simple girl. She is as her classmates quote, 'the simple girl from the book.' She is just too simple to be true.



But that isn't the case for everyone. While Ivy tries her best to hide the wildness behind that pair of glasses and oversized clothes, Lyle just seems to see through her.

Why doesn't he let her end her highschool like she wants to? He didn't notice last year when she came, so what exactly went wrong this time?

Now who can tell her that Lyle had actually seen the 'real' her behind that seemingly 'simple' her?

Don't beleive the appearance

The person who spoke was a girl who was sprawled on the couch with her phone in hand. Clearly, she was playing a game with the person who was sitting on the couch perpendicular to the couch she was lying on.


''Why are you fussing with a bag of chips. Quick, help me. What are you doing.'' The middle-aged man seated on the next couch shouted as he pressed fiercely on his phone.


''Why are you even whining? Wait wait. I'll be there. *Sigh* What a noob.'' The girl mocked the other person. The two was very engrossed in their game that they failed to notice those at the back.


After playing for a few more minutes, the man shouted, ''Yes!'' He stood up from his seat and raised his hand for a high five towards the girl. It was at this moment that he realized the presence of those who were still shell shocked behind the girl.


''I told you it isn't a big deal.'' The girl said as she stood up and high-fived the man whose hand was still in the air.


''Avi, why were you you late? You took ages to buy a bag of chips and now your taking your own sweet time to pass-" The girl stopped mid way because when she turned to get her chips but realized that the person infront wasn't the one she expected.


''Henry! Ivy!'' Mrs Gracia, also known as Emmy shouted looking at the two frozen statues.


''Hehe... Hi...?'' The two frozen statues said in a stiff movement. Their gestures and expressions were so similar that it seemed identical. Just that one was male and the other female. One was middle-aged while the other was still a teen. One was taller while the other...


The situation was still frozen when two pups struggled out of Lyle's arm towards the girl and started rubbing on her legs, each.


This broke the silence in the room followed by Avi's entry.


''I had to go so far until I found this spicy flavored chips.'' Avi said as he changed his shoes but then realized that the room was eerily quite. ''Lyle...? Why are you here...?'' 


The first person Avi noticed was Lyle who was standing face to face with Ivy. Only then did he notice the two strangers at the back and his mom. The pieces clicked together as he got a general idea of what happened.
