Spirit stone/ Let the auction begin

Hearing his question the man wrinkled his brow. "You mean I can't even come back to my own home?" He cross questioned the boy who was lying on the bed.

Wang Roo Nim realized his choice of word was not appropriate. "Sorry Hyung, its just I was a little surprised since you said you won't be coming back for a month or so. What brought you early here??" Wang Roo Nim tried to get out the bed to prepare a drink for him.

"Just lie down and rest you moron." He pushed him on the bed and wrapped the quilt tightly around him. ":You are still too weak to walk."

Wang Roo Nim realized he could not feel his leg. That feeling was weird and scary. "Hyung what's happening?? My leg …." He looked at him with a frightened eyes.

"See, that's what I said about being weak." His brother swept back the hair on his forehead looking at Wang Roo Nim. "I asked you to be careful didn't I? Its because fo you that I had to return early."

"Sorry hyung… Roo Nim tried shrinking inside his quilt since he felt guilty about disturbing and being a burden to his brother.

"There you go again with your sorry…tch" He looked irritated at him. "Do you even know what you did wrong??"

Wang Roo Nim shook his head. He did not know what he had done wrong. Like his brother had told him he had covered up his hair, his face and had isolated himself from people. He was always a little different from other children so he was shunned and bullied. Being who he was today was inevitable.

"See you don't even know what you did wrong…hah…you are truly something." He massaged his forehead He was about to add something else when the phone in his pocket rang.

"I will be back after this call." He looked at the caller Id and took a deep breathe. "Don't step out from your bed, you got that?" He warned Roo Nim who obediently nodded.

"Good." He walked out to the balcony. He leaned forward on the railing of the balcony and picked the call.

"Hello." He spoke calmly as he took a puff of smoke from his cigarette.

"Hey Wang Hae Soo, you jerk!!" A man shouted from on the other side of the call. He seemed to be in verge of tears.

"Speak slowly, I can hear you dimwit." Hae Soo rubbed his ear and spoke on the phone. "What is it?"

"Huh? What do you mean by what is it?? You jerk…how can you leave in middle of work without any prior information."

"Ohh right, I didn't inform right.. Can you do that for me?" Hae Soo answered shamelessly. He really did not care about informing the higher ups.

"I already did,,,I knew you were going to bail on us anytime,,,: The other man sighed deeply. He was really tired taking care of all his mess.

"Thank you Liam. I owe you this time." Hae Soo was truly grateful towards him for cleaning up the mess he left behind.

"No worries…What are buddies meant for if not for emergencies like this?" Liam was moved by his sincere thanks. Liam was his partner in the mission he had gone. He was a foreigner unlike him but they were pretty close.

"I know right, I hope you will take care of me like this in future as well." Hae Soo took the chance to mess around.

"You freaking piece of shit, we are buddies no more." It was followed by the sound of call ending.

Hae Soo quietly put the phone in his pocket and started to smoke looking at the night view of the Seoul city. He had missed this for a long time. "Feels good to be back." He breathed in the night air which was chilly but refreshing.

His phone rang again. He picked it up without looking at the caller ID. "Feeling better?" He asked.

The other sound did not speak for a while. "Yes I am." Liam answered as he practiced self control meditation pose. He felt he might lose his mind and burn the whole country into sea of flames if he didn.t try this.

"So what is the problem? Why did you leave like that?" Liam asked seriously.

"Its about my brother." Hae Soo spoke taking another puff of smoke.

Liam on the other side could hear the bitterness in his voice. "Is it about his other half?" Liam asked cautiously afraid he might tread on a hidden mine.

"Yes." Hae oo replied heavily. "What's your opinion on him? " Liam asked.

"I don't like him one bit. He is a cheeky bastard and I know he will never accept Wang Roo Nim. He is that kind of Jerk." Hae Soo poured out all the bad things neglecting even a small positive aspect.

"But how did you know?" He was curious as to how someone who was continents apart from Wang Roo Nim could sense someone else's other half.

"About that, I have his spirit stone." Hae Soo revealed the truth.

"WHAT?? You have his spirit stone>? Are you nuts? How could you do that?" It was the first time for Liam to hear about someone taking away others spirit stone from them.

Hae Soo did not speak anything. So Liam decided to give him a piece of his mind. "You know better than anyone else the importance of spirit stone. His life would be a living hell without it."

"I know but its better this way." Hae Soo did not feel he was wrong. Whatever he did was for his brother and for his well being.

"He is a fox spirit damn it. Hae Soo, you are just an elf and you don't need the stone…If the Bureau learns about it you know what will happen, don't you?" Liam tried reasoning with Hae Soo.

"I don't give a damn about the bureau, it can just go to hell." Wang Hae Soo was as solid as a rock in his decision. "If there is nothing else I am ending the call." Hae Soo directly ended the call without waiting for his response.

"Hey Hae Soo….Hae soo??" Liam called him but the call was already ended. "Fu*k." The yoga pose did not help him to control his anger and irritation,

":Hae Soo are you willing to risk your life for a fox? You are not that foolish, are you?" Liam looked at the call history his head aching. "A fox spirit without spirit stone is equivalent to a lion without its claw, are you trying to cage the lion or trying to protect the lion from hurting itself with its own claw… I hope you are wise with what you choose." Liam sighed for the path his dear friend was taking was not an easy one and totally not a legal path.

Liam looked at the red dot on his phone.

Seoul city in Korea

After finishing the call and cigarette Hae Soo went inside to see Wang Roo Nim but he was already asleep. He looked at his sleepy face with a sigh. "Sorry Roo Nim, your Hyung is not as kind as you think…Let me be selfish this once okay?" He was about to kiss his forehead when his phone rang.

"What is it?" Hae Soo replied with irritation evident in his voice.

"There is an emergency mission for you." Liam reported to him.

"Her?? In Korea??" Hae Soo asked suspicious of the information.

"There is a going to be an incident on in the old villa near the park of your brother's university. Although it is a business meeting, the main aim is capturing humans for entertainment. The organizer are the incubus of the Lustydom." Liam sent him all the required coordinates. "Be careful, they are the criminals on the run."

"Roger that."

Looking at Wang Roo Nim for the last time he jumped out the balcony and flew swiftly in the air going to the designated place he was sent.

He was an inspector at the Bureau of Magical beings and catching those who tried to misuse their power and authority was his work. As for his work he just did it because Wang Roo Nim had said they were cool once upon a time. His long life work partner was Liam, a werewolf and a foreigner.

"I have arrived." Hae Soo looked at the big villa below him .

"All the best partner." Liam ended the call.

Sin Hyun had received an invitation to join a meeting organized by the leading top Company of the world. They were a growing company so he wanted to meet many people as much as possible. It was legitimate and verified so he was here at the middle of night in front of a villa, A butler came and greeted him.

""Sir are you here for the meeting?" He asked politely.

"Yes, I am from the Sin Family, Sin Hyun." He replied confidently and showed him the card. His card had a red ribbon on the top.

The butler smiled and said, "You are a red ribbon guest. Please go there." He respectfully pointed towards the main gate,

:"Thank you." He replied and went inside through the main door. As soon as he entered the door, a beam of light fell on him. He closed his eyes to let them adjust to the dark surrounding and the beam of light on top of him.

"A very fine and rare product of today's meet." A man announced from a podium.

"Let the auction begin."
