ACT 41
Kydin woke up and yawned. He looked around and was shocked to see himself in a forest. It was beautiful and had a lot of strange purple flowers. He looked around, stood up and began to walk around the forest. He heard water and went to that direction. He saw a flowing stream. He looked around and saw a girl fetching water from the stream. She was wearing a beautiful blue attire and a white scarf on her head and it covered her face. He couldn't tell who and which colour the person was. She spotted him and quickly carried her pot and walked away.
Prince Kydin - Hey! Please wait. Please wait.
But she suddenly vanished behind a tree. He looked around but couldn't find her.
Prince Kydin - Where is she? Where am I?
He kept on walking around until he came near a clearing and saw the girl near a cliff. She was looking towards the horizon. She was about to jump to the other end of the cliff when Kydin grabbed her hand.
Prince Kydin - Wait, please. Who are you?
But the girl didn't reply. He looked down at her hand and noticed how soft it felt. He didn't even notice her Red fingernails. Suddenly everywhere went Dark. He woke up and sat up on his bed.
Prince Kydin - What a strange dream. I'm sure it's nothing.
He laid back down to sleep. He looked at his hand.
Prince Kydin - I can still feel her warm hand.
He sighed and closed his eyes to sleep.
ACT 42
The next day...
In the Dark Empire...
Prince Dejjo, a Dark boy of 11 years old was in his room with his trainer. He had very short black hair, dark skin, amber eyes and a little bit thicker eye brows. He had just finished his physical practicing.
Trainer - Prince Dejjo you need to concentrate we have been on this same lesson for 3 weeks now. You need to improve. In fact you are getting worse. Do you wish me to report this to your Father?
Prince Dejjo - No Sir. Please don't. I will do better I promise.
Trainer - You had better. Anyway that's enough for today. I will be on my way.
Prince Dejjo - Yes Sir.
The trainer left and Dejjo sat on his bed thinking about what he said.
Prince Dejjo - (I have to improve. I have to stop disappointing Father. I don't have powers like my older Brothers. I should have had them since I was 5 but I can still be useful. Father pays more attention to them than me. I'm tired of that. At least Mother still supports me. I'll prove myself to him. Maybe if I do well and show him I've improved he will let me go to the surface.)
Dejjo began to practice his lessons. He was improving little by little.
ACT 43
The next day...
Dejjo was going to his Father's study room.
Prince Dejjo - I hope Father will be impressed with my training so far. And maybe he'll let me finally go up-ground.
He entered into the study room.
King Zanji was very busy going through some ancient scrolls and books.
Prince Dejjo - Good Morning Father. Please Father may I speak with you? I would like to show you something.
King Zanji glared at him and shouted with anger.
King Zanji - What? I'm very busy! Meet your Mother.
Prince Dejjo - Please Father.
King Zanji - Go!
He quickly hurried out.
Prince Dejjo - Father is busy. I'll try again tomorrow.
ACT 44
A week later...
In the morning...
Reolita - Papa. I've done all my morning chores.
Ricktin - Did you fetch water in the big pot?
Reolita - Yes.
Ricktin - Did you sweep the house and compound?
Reolita - Yes.
Ricktin - Did you put the firewood in the kitchen?
Reolita - Yes Papa.
Ricktin - OK then. You can go and play. But be back in 3 hours.
Reolita - OK Papa. I'll be back.
Reolita picked up a small knife and a basket and went out.
Reolita - (I really don't have any friends all because of that stupid Yuveta. None of the other children even want to play with me so I'll pick flowers for my new bracelets.)
She remembered a part of the forest that had lots of different flowers. She entered into the forest and saw different types of flowers. She used her small knife to cut different flowers and put them in her basket. She remembered how she and her Mother used to pick flowers together for bracelets.
Flashback...
Alicia - Reolita dear see this Red flower.
4 years old Reolita - I see it. What is the name?
Alicia - It's a hibiscus flower.
4 years old Reolita - Wow. It's beautiful.
Alicia - Yes. And it's my favorite. By the time we make the bracelet you will see how beautiful it is.
4 years old Reolita - Yay!
Alicia smiles.
Alicia - So cute.
ACT 45
She was going deeper when she heard something move in the bushes. She became scared and pointed the knife incase something attached her. She checked behind the bush. She saw a 12 years old Red boy. He had very light skin and dreadlocks. He was almost an albino. He was doing some amazing tricks like hand walking and back flips. They were very hard to do but he made it look easy. She hid and enjoyed watching him.
Reolita - Wow.
He was doing a somersault trick next but he fell and hit his butt hard on the floor. She giggled and the boy heard.
Boy - Who is there? Come out!
She tried to sneak away but saw him standing behind her.
Reolita - How did you get behind me?
The boy grabbed her hand and pulled her away from the bushes.
Reolita - Hey let me go.
Boy - Why were you spying on me?
Reolita - I'm not spying on you. I was just passing by and saw you. I didn't want to bother you. I'm sorry. But I like your tricks. They are really nice.
Boy - Really?
Reolita - Yeah. My name is Reolita.
The boy looked at her not sure if he could trust her.
Boy - I'm Collet.
He had light Red dreadlock hair, dark eyes, ears a little bit big, very fair skin and freckles. He was half a head taller than Reolita.
Collet - What are you doing in the forest alone?
Reolita - What are you doing?
Collet - I asked you first.
He let go of her hand.
Reolita - It's none of your business! Bye bye.
She turned to leave.
Collet - Since you won't tell me I'll just take this.
He grabbed her flower basket and climbed up a tree.
Reolita - Hey give it back now.
Collet - No way. I'll be keeping it. Eww it's ugly.
Reolita tried to climb the tree but it was too high. How did he get up there that fast anyway. It's like he has super speed. She noticed he had a White bracelet.
She gave up and sat down near the foot of a tree and hugged her legs and sobbed.
The boy on the tree began to feel bad. He jumped down beside her.
Collet - Hey you can have it back. Don't cry. I don't like it when people cry.
Reolita - Give me.
She grabbed it and checked it for damages. He saw how she treasures it and felt bad about taking it away. But she was still looking down. He ran off and climbed a tree and came back down holding something. He gave her a flower.
She looked at it amazed. She had never seen an flower like it before. It looked like multiple butterflies were stuck on a branch.
Reolita - Thank you. What is the name?
Collet - it's a butter hibiscus.
Reolita - Wow. It's very nice.
Collet - I'm sorry OK. I'm very sorry.
Reolita -Ok. I forgive you.
Collet - Let's play Catcher catcher (Tag). If you want to.
Reolita - OK. I'll be the catcher (It).
He went to hide. She started to count.
Reolita - 1...2...3...4...5...6...
Collet ran and hid in a tree hole. Reolita searched for him for 15 minutes but couldn't find him.
Reolita - Oh where could he be hiding?
She heard noise behind a bush. She ran and checked it.
Reolita - Found you!
But instead of finding Collet she saw a big black dog. She screamed in fear. And started to run to the Village but the dog was chasing her too. She fell down because her leg was caught in a rope trap on the floor. She saw the dog running her way and cowered in fear on the floor. She expected to be torn into pieces.
But Collet grabbed a big stick and used it to slap the dog away.
The dog whimpered and ran away.
Collet - Are you alright?
Reolita - Yes thank you so much. My leg is paining me though.
Collet - I'll carry you to your Village.
He carried her on his back.
Reolita - Don't you live in the Village too?
Collet - No. I live in the forest.
Reolita - That sounds scary.
Collet - It's okay if you know how to defend yourself. And run fast.
Reolita - You have more speed because of the White bracelet. Where did you get it anyway?
Collet - Somewhere.
Reolita - It's fine if you don't want to tell me.
But it was getting late and she had to go.
Reolita - Thank you for helping me again. Your very strong.
Collet - Thanks but don't worry about it. Anytime.
He reached the edge of the Village. And helped her stand up.
Collet - This is as far as I can go.
Reolita - Really why?
Collet - Nothing. I'm already far away from home and my mother would be worried.
Reolita - OK. Bye.
Reolita quickly walked home thinking of what explanation to give her Papa. She kept on thinking about Collet.
Collet looked around and made sure no one followed him to the forest.
