Last Swim of the Summer

The weather is still warm enough to go out, even though the summer is pretty much over. Some of the people with beach houses pack up their cars to go home. All of the children start school the following week. Tyler and Emma take Calem with them as they ride their bikes to the beach one more time. Their parents believe they just went out for a bike ride in town. They hope to see Acrilla and Noah, or maybe even get to look at the Atlantic castle one more time. They wait to see if she will show up but hear nothing but the seagulls chirping and the waves crashing off the coast. The beach is not as packed as it was over the past few weeks, although there are still many beachgoers coming to enjoy the weather before it changes. Emma sits on the ground, as usual, to make sandcastles while the boys remain on their phones. Suddenly, they hear a familiar noise coming close, and then they hear clicking sounds.
