The World's Reaction
Utilizing what they currently knew about the Arcadian Military, War games were conducted by a few major countries simulating an invasion of their countries by the Arcadians. Of course, all of them ended in a loss, and some varied depending on the country.
In the United Kingdom, the results had showed that the war would last for at least a year, but they would be able to hold them off for a little while but because they were basically on an island.
For France, they would not last as long because they were surrounded by water on three sides. The Arcadian Navy has access to the Mediterranean thanks to agreements with countries such as Italy, Spain, Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia.
The French Navy while modern and more powerful than most countries would not be able to contend with the Arcadian Navy. They wouldn't have even been able to fight the Russian Navy by themselves. Now that is different as the Russian Navy has lost it's Eastern Fleet and Black Sea fleet meaning that the French Navy could deal with them.
Each country had different results for their War games. Some got absolutely wiped out in less than 6 Months while some managed to survive for a year.
Following the start of the war, the United States remained neutral in the matter, considering it was the Russian Federation whom they have a strained relationship with, and getting involved in this war would not be ideal considering their current internal situation.
Belarus was the first country to condemn the invasion and fully support commit their forces to the war in support of Russia.
Some other countries whose names were a part of the list of countries revealed to have been conducting experiments on were debating whether they should support Russia or prepare for the inevitable. The rest of the world watched with bated breath as the Arcadian Military began their next move.
In Europe, Germany faced an internal conflict of its own. With a rich history steeped in heavy warfare and a population still stinging from the memory of wars past, the country's leaders found themselves torn between intervention and maintaining neutrality. Public opinion was equally divided, with protesters flooding the streets of Berlin both for and against entering the war.
Meanwhile in Africa, things were starting to heat up as numerous nations had formed a coalition against the UAN calling it a Foreign made Alliance controlled by Arcadia. This new Alliance was called the Union of African Nations and was led by the Democratic Republic of Congo. Bordering them was the Republic of Congo which had aligned with the UAN.
Other African nations who joined them was South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Somalia, and the Gabonese Republic. All other African Nations were either already part of the UAN or had joined to protect their own nation from the impending conflict.
The only reason why the Union of African Nations could be formed was because of outside influence. Despite being anti-foreigner, the Union of African Nations had accepted guns from other world powers who wanted destabilize Africa even more and exploit it for their resources to fuel their own plans.
The South American subcontinent went on high alert, with Brazil and Argentina spearheading the establishment of a continental defense pact. The pact's primary objective was to repel any potential aggression from the rising tensions around the world. However, it was not without its opposition, with the likes of Bolivia and Paraguay expressing concerns over the potential militarization of the continent.
In the Middle East, things were still hot from the increase in British forces in the region. Iran was trying to influence other countries and turn them into religious countries, Syria was still having its civil war which was close to an end thanks to the 4 Imperial Knights that Arcadia sent to help Syria in exchange for establishing in Embassy in their Capital.
While all of this was going on, within space outside of the Milky Way, a conflict was brewing between two Galactic powers. On one side was an Imperial Princess of the Orissa kingdom, while on the other side was a well know war monger race who were part of the Orc Empire.
The Orissa Kingdom fleet carrying the Princess were outnumbered and was on the verge of collapse. However, they couldn't allow the Princess to be captured so the Navigation Officer made a difficult decision. Their mission was to escort the Princess to the Federation of Zethia Capital world for protection from the Orcs who could not penetrate their defenses.
As he put in the coordinates to the jump drive, the ship was hit, and a massive explosion shook the ship. The Navigation officer who had fallen on the floor, had stood up and began to type in some numbers on his console.
Moments later he had finished and prepared to initiate the jump "I'm initiating the jump now" He announced as he pressed a button and the ship accelerated to the speed of light passing other Systems within seconds.
After a few minutes the ship had arrived at its destination but had started spiraling out of control towards a nearby planet.
Meanwhile the Orc fleet had tracked their jump location and had prepared to chase after them.
