Day off.

We were having a school assembly once again, and this time seemed to be an enormous deal. The new headmaster started his speech. "As you know, because of the incident in the past, everything has just been off schedule and weird. But today is the day we get back to a little sense of normalcy and peace. After passing everybody who... Survived the attack, we will finally have another finals exam."

"It will be in tournament format with different specialties you can enter. No, there is a limit on how many people are in each specialty. There will be a battle royal that will be mandatory for everybody to take part in."

That's a lot to drop on us last second. "Oh yeah, and it's in two days. Get ready!" I opened my eyes wide. I need armor! Why did he have to tell us last second!!!!!! The stress. "No school for the next two days so you can prepare." Everybody walked out of the assembly room at the same time. After that, I sprinted through the hallways. The faster I can get my order, the faster I can get the armor.

Running outside I swiped my student ID and had to put in a personal passcode for it a new safety feature, not even the headmaster could bypass and open the doors, and you were limited to three people coming in with you at the same time or three entrances.

Entering my passcode. (Her passcode is Ether by the way.) I left the school, going back to the metropolis of Ljos city and walking around until I found the blacksmith I got my black and red sword from. "Welcome back customer." The blacksmith that made my other sword said.

"Hello." "So what will you be needing today?" "I need a chest plate forearm and shin plates and I need it by early morning in two days." "That's quite the timeframe what beast cores do you want it to be made of?" "Hmm I'd like the chest plate to be virtue ranked and the rest power ranked."

I need to protect my vitals. "Ok it's doable but it'll cost you one thousand five hundred Heiro." I nodded and handed him my debit card with a saved up school allowance on it. Leaving, I took a night out for myself. Going to a pizza place I got cinnamon bites and a small pizza sitting down and eating it tasted amazing. They loaded it with meat and bacon on the inside.

With bright yellow bubbling cheese on top and pizza sauce mixed somewhere in there. I heard some talking behind my back, then a boy who looked to be around fifteen or sixteen. Went up to my table. "Can I have your number?" I dropped my fork. "Sorry, I'm taken." "I don't see a ring on your finger."

He replied. "Can you please move from my table and let me eat in peace?" I asked him calmly. Groaning, he left and sat back down with his friends. That was seriously uncomfortable. After finishing my pizza, I left the store and left for a movie that I scheduled while I was eating.

A zombie apocalypse movie where two people absolutely despise each other left alive in the entire world and they have to work together or the rest of the human race perishes forever.

Cool synopsis. Arriving at the theater sitting down in the leather seats and enjoying the movie after getting some chocolate candy.

I got up after the 5-hour movie stretching my bones.

I got up to leave the theater. I could feel the stares from behind me. Uncomfortable.

Leaving out of the theater I looked up at the sky. Is it only 5 pm? I booked more tickets to see another long movie. About a girl who is bitten by a vampire and has to fight alongside dhampirs who kill vampires that don't know she is secretly a vampire but as she slowly becomes more akin to a vampire, they start to notice her being a vampire more and more.

Going into the theater to watch the six-hour-long movie marathon was a trio of two-hour movies.

I walked out into the night thinking about the movie's amazing ending. In the end, she was killed by the dhampirs who respected her most but knew after an internal conflict that they had to do it for the sake of mankind. But right after killing their friend that was a vampire, they found out that there was a cure to being a vampire right under their noses.

Walking through the glowing city I eventually ended up at the school's "entrance" Taking the teleportation portal to the academy I went back to the dorm room.

Greeting Leona, I went to my room and went to sleep…

Waking up from a finally good night of sleep felt absolutely refreshing and amazing. Getting out of my bed I fixed up my hair that was poofy frizzy and all in my face. Groaning at my disturbingly hard to mold hair, I finally fixed it after fifteen minutes of fixing it so I could actually see.

After finishing getting ready I ate breakfast chocolate cereal as always and a workout routine as always. Turning around and waving goodbye to Leona, I left out of the dorm to meet up with Brian. Knowing that I was planning to break up with him in a month's time hurt my heart to see him. But I knew it was the best for both me and him. I still love him so much but I'm the issue.

But I still don't know how I would feel finding out that he loved another woman and would never look back. I continued walking. I had my sword with me for combat class. Turning around, I quickly ran back to the dorm and found my sword. Pulling it out of the glass case it was in, I put it in its sheath and carried it alongside my blue sword.

Brian first person

I need to break up with Sapphire. I'm mentally unable, a relationship goes both ways and if I can't hold up the relationship with her then what are we even doing I still lover her so much? I'll tell her after I win the multi-school tournament. Then I'll give her time to think about it and move on hopefully. But would I be happy seeing her move on? With another man?

And after those days where I was…. I don't think I'll ever be able to hold on to a long-term relationship with someone that doesn't have as much patience as Sapphire. Well I'll hopefully find another great woman after I've fully recovered from what happened.

"Hi!" Sapphire greeted me energetically. Unusual, but I like it. "You got a full night's rest I'm guessing?" I said guessing with a full smile on my face. "Yeah!" I nodded and smiled.

She hopefully wouldn't have another incident like that again.

Leading her to the Janitors closet. We kissed and we were close for some minutes. But then she backed away from me with tears in her eyes. Did I do something wong? Please don't tell me I did something wrong. "I'm sorry it just hangs on my conscious." She choked out as I put my hand on her cheek.

"What happened to you during that time It just sickens me and I don't know if you want me to touch you or even be around you because I feel like you're uncomfortable but maybe that's just me overthinking? #$%^ What's wrong with me? I'm complaining."

"I can't believe I've made you feel-" "And I initiated the relationship and I don't know how to talk to you about it." Oh. "I didn't want to get really intimate with you, but believe me I really do love you." "It's okay to be intimate with me without feeling guilty. I don't feel uncomfortable around you I just don't really like all of those women and balls invading my space giving uncomfortable compliments."

"I'm really sorry for crying and making a big deal about a worry that isn't even yours. I'm so sorry." "No, it's fine. I'd rather you do this rather than have you feel guilty for a long time." I replied opening the door and letting her step in front of me. Walking from behind her she said, "I need to go to the bathroom for a bit to meet you in class." I nodded and headed on my way to class.

Sapphire first person.

Looking in front of the mirror, I did the usual check to make sure my voice is normal and checked my eyelids for any redness to give away in any signs of crying. Rubbing my eyes, I put the face on and walked out to meet Brian again. "Ready?" "Yeah." If I trained now, I would be sore and wouldn't be able to actually perform in the tournament.

I plan to do the races in the hand-to-hand combat and the sword fighting tournaments. Hopefully, I find some very strong people to fight that don't want to kill me and I can actually learn from them instead of getting utterly and absolutely defeated every time. Somebody stronger than Brian because he and I are equal.

Going out leaving with Brian while holding hands, we left out of the school and went directly to the movies.

After the movies we went to go and sign up for the tournaments. We wanted to go to Brian signed up for the hand-to-hand combat.

After having a great time at the movies, we went out to eat and went to our respective dorms and I went to sleep. Tomorrow is the day of the tournament.
