Multi school tournament 2

After doing some quick math I think around 40 milliamps of power should be enough for most hardening abilities and maybe fifty depending on how strong they are but I can't do quick math in the middle of the battle so I'm glad I'm thinking of this now.

"Hey isn't she that girl saved over a hundred people during the attack?" "She is!" "Omg!!!" "She's one of the five that saved hundreds during the attack!" "Thank you!" "Thank you so much!" "Thank you!" "Thank you!!" "You're a hero!!!" "You're amazing!"

They completely interrupted my thought process. I waved my hands, and they all looked confused still. They kept yelling and backing me up into a corner.

Theo right now…

That looks like quite the spectacle a random girl was backed up against a corner, with a lot of students backing her against the window. The reporter didn't even know what to say after seeing the big spectacle in the contestant waiting room.

It smelled very good in our condo. Mom and Layla are cooking ham, mac n cheese and spinach for dinner. "Come eat Theo!" "Come eat Theo!" "THEOTIMUS CAESER APOLLO COME EAT RIGHT NOW!!!" I winced. Ignoring mom never turns out pretty.

"Coming!" I ran to the kitchen and saw the meal sitting on the table. It looked beautiful. "Let's eat!"Layla said enthusiastically. "Little sister, you do not get the first bite," I said to her, glaring. "Stop calling me little sister every time you want something!" Layla said.

She was already thirteen in her rebellious stage and making life harder for me, especially. She comes in my room whenever I'm sleeping through the day and just sits down and says, "I'm bored. Let's chat." That's the most annoying of her behavior.

"Don't yell at your older brother like that." Mom said to her. "He still doesn't have a girlfriend. Hell, I bet he doesn't even have a girl's number yet!" "And that's where you're wrong." They both stared at me with their eyes wide open.

"How?? When?? Where?? Why??" Layla said in plenty of confusion. "Must've been some girl for you to accept her number." Mom said calmly. "That's the thing I asked for her number." "I even got rejected once."

"My brother? Asked for a girl's number?" "Impossible, I need to look at the contact!"

She teleported and grabbed my phone, which was on the table. I smacked her hand and took it back. "If you want to see it so bad I can show it to you," I said, scrolling through my phone. I've got fighting ring contacts on this phone, can't have my sister looking through it.

"Here." I showed her, and she was surprised to limit. "Make sure she's a nice girl." I nodded. I dug into my food more and ate fastly I don't want to be late for the rest of the matches. My sister was still in shock.

I went back to my room and watched the tv. The big spectacle in the contestant waiting room had ended and was distant past and new people were fighting.

I dozed off sitting in my bed.

Sapphire's perspective…

This time, we have two matches for the day. Only the people who made the last cut were walking through this line, which was much smaller than last. I walked through the gate into the contestant waiting room and waited for my name, but I was called out third.

This time they had announcers for it instead of just looking up at the screen. "One favorite to win the tournament!! Sapphire Victoria!!!!" "And Rynter Talet!" Walking into the big arena confidently I saw a very tall man that was irritatingly large to where it made him look giant and I had to look up to see his face. Making me wish I were taller.

I am only 5'5½ which makes me shorter than most guys my age. "Hoping for a good game." He said in a deep voice. I nodded and got into my fighting position. He got into the same fighting position. Huh??? Then I put off my thoughts and focused on getting an overwhelming victory.

"3! 2! 1!" "Go!" The referee swing down his hand. We both did the same moves, crouched down lower and dashed directly towards each other.! A light bulb went off in my head. What if he can copy my moves and almost read my mind? I got kicked back immediately and backed up.

I felt a strange connection between me and him. He was looking at my surface, thoughts of my moves he couldn't delve any deeper. I put Hacht into my eyes and saw a faint connection going from my head to his head. I used my power on the tip of my finger and put my finger to the connection, this time testing my experiment.

I felt a rejuvenating feeling in my chest. That felt very warm. IT WORKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes!!!! Now I'm even stronger! "What did you just do????" (phantom step) I punched him directly in the stomach, making him cough blood and a loud shock wave went through the stadium. He fell over and was knocked out.

He might have some slight intestinal bleeding and a broken rib, but he'll b fine. "I didn't even see her move!" "yeah she was just… there!" "Hey isn't this hand-to-hand combat??!!" "This is cheating. She used her power!!"

"Yeah!!" Uck, so many idiots. "Hold on audience, we'll replay the footage in slow mo!" They replayed it in slow mo and, sure enough, it saw me moving at incredibly high speeds and punching him. Lucky for him, I stopped my momentum in the punch. The phantom step was just so he couldn't keep track of me.

The entire crowd squinted when I knocked him out. "There were no rules broken during this match! And so! Sapphire wins!" There were cheers in the crowd.

(Rinter for anybody confused on pronunciation.)

I teleported to another contestant waiting room to wait for my next match to carry on. I wish I could just go do other things before my match because it's so boring to just go and sit here for hours on end I can't even pretend to be interested in this match as it would be too boring for me to even conjure up the energy to pay attention and try to learn to see the opponents that I could be facing.

The incredibly unrealistic and ridiculous expectation for everybody to sit here quietly was so stupid. People kept catching glances at me but shivered in response to my eye contact, looking back at them whenever I felt their eyes on me.

They decided not to approach me at all except one brave soul, who walked up to me with shaky hands. And a shaky voice "Can I please have your autograph?" "I don't see why not?" I autographed the piece of paper for the shy girl and she turned around and pumped her fist in victory.

Everybody else was just looking at me, thinking I couldn't feel their eyes on me.

3rd person.

The reason why they were all looking at Sapphire in such a frightening way is that during the attack, they all saw the others saving people and just defending themselves. From an outsider's perspective, all it looked like Sapphire was doing was just completely obliterating enemy forces like a hurricane in the wind.

It just went person after person. No screams. It was completely quiet in the halls that Sapphire was in, as the Lokust soldiers couldn't. feel were already defeated before they even knew they were.

So in fact everybody in there admired her, but everybody thought she was too unapproachable to approach her and thank her. The short explanation they hadn't seen the dirty work behind the victory of Relix academy, they only saw Sapphire hurdling through the entire army smoothly.

A crossing thought passed through my mind. 'maybe she's not that bad.' And that was the only one who approached her in the end. But at least she had her peace and quiet at the end of the day it was all good for Sapphire.

Raimy….

I feel the constant urge to check and make sure nobody around me is a traitor. But who would be a traitor? Maybe I'm just worried about nothing. I was finally in the arena with Sapphire. You could get tickets for arenas. Certain people would be, but since I'm a student there, I can get in for free. The school could only do this because most of the students were participating in this.

Hence why they needed to make so many arenas and why the matches went on for so long yesterday. I felt something a strange presence. Another one, what exactly is it? It doesn't feel like anything I've ever felt before.
