Multi school tournament 3

3rd person…

The reason why Raimy felt a presence a strange one is because foreigners from different countries don't have the same life force signature. Because every country shares one common ancestor. And even when a non-hostile Life force signature everybody with a half-decent sense of surroundings can feel the off life force signature.

And this one was most definitely from a different country and had a very strong difference in life force signature in comparison to others. Hence, it was probably a noble from another country. Raimy got up, blocking others' views and getting some nasty glares. Another person trying to be sneaky and wear a black cloak.

He sat down right next to them with his legs crossed. "You see, we're in a war right now and not letting anybody in the borders. So who the hell are you?" "S***," she whispered. The lady moved quickly, kicking up chairs and climbing up them, heading for the outside of the stadium.

Raimy summoned metal shackles to pin her down, but as soon as he caught her and she fell over, the shackles simply melted off. "You think that's enough to stop me huh??!!" The metal looked as if alive and leaped onto her, melting and burning the muscles and skin on her ankles and making her trip over again.

She suddenly fell over, breaking her nose, and attempted to run. The metal that was already on her ankles turned into shackles that restricted her entire joint movement. At that moment, the teachers and security got here. "What happened here!"

Raimy calmly explained. "I sensed a suspicious life force signature that belonged to a foreigner and as you know we are in the middle of a war so I ended up investigating and as soon as I asked a simple question, the foreigner attempted running so I restrained her."

The teacher that came over to investigate nodded. "Good job, student. You took a correct course of. Action. All foreigners were ordered out of our country when the war started." "Now continue to watch the games this will be dealt with accordingly." This included transfer students from all prestigious and non-prestigious academies.

"Are the restraints permanent?" The teacher asked. "As long as nobody tampers with them and I don't take them off intentionally, it will stay."

"Good."

Grabbing the now-prisoner's wrist, the teacher dragged her like a rag doll while calling all the other teachers and the advisors.

….

The teacher stuck the suspect's head completely in water to wake her up. "Good afternoon, now I'd like to know what you were doing there." "I was watching the games." "Don't lie foreigner. We all know that you weren't here to just "watch the games."

"Now answer me before I have to start interrogation techniques with the Ryhems and trust me that isn't fun in any way." "I'll never talk!"

Advisor 14 that had been disguising himself as a teacher sighed. "C'mon advisor 13, try not to break her mind please she could be used as a valuable bargaining chip as she is nobility." Mina rolled her eyes. "Tell me why you were there now."

Mina said in a very soothing voice, almost like a siren. "I was watching the future competition to get a relative idea of the strength of your future soldiers." "They aren't just future soldiers!"

Mina yelled. "Calm down."

"Let's ask some more questions, eh? Could get a lot more information out of her."

Then the questioning began.

"Are there any active secret bases within our territory?" "Yes." "Is there a person of high status place there?" "I have no access to such information." "Alrighty then, now answer this question. "When are you planning to attack the front lines?" "I don't know. That is inconclusive information currently in the army." Mina sighed heavily.

"Do you have a free entrée into the kingdom and back?" "Of course." "Good."

Mina continued asking her questions. And eventually, she finished with beads of sweat dropping down her face and her panting. "Th- that was intense." She was backing away and sitting on the floor. "You did well." "Thank's Kit," Mina said, making eye contact with advisor fourteen.

… meanwhile Sapphire's next battle.

"3 2 1! Go!" I saw the stance my opponent was using she was most definitely going to go in for the first hit but obviously, that's probably not how it's going to turn out, in the end, I've already thought5 of the perfect response to her stance and possible first moves.

It's over before she even knows it's over. She rushed forward intensely and quickly turned invisible and appeared on my right side. I turned over and kneed her face all the way across the arena with blood flying from her face. The once loud crowd went silent at my act.

The people that bet on the time it's going to take for the matches would end were most likely betting higher times as the finals approached and this probably cleaned their pockets out of money in fact it had taken less than a second for the entire exchange to be over.

I caused head trauma to her. Most likely she will have a heavy concussion and sis most definitely is knocked out. The crowd was still silent, then the announcer yelled out. "Let's see that insane inane and ridiculous "fight!!!!" He put hand-quotation marks over the fight because everybody knew it was just a complete and utter defeat that she had no hope of winning in.

They saw the immediate actions, including the temporary time while she was extremely close to me, that she disappeared from sight and appeared on my left, yet as soon as she was about to throw the punch, I moved slightly forward and kneed herself in the face.

In reality, I just stuck my leg up slightly and propelled my leg forward towards her face. Her own momentum was what did the rest. "Wow!!!" "What an insane defeat! How could that even happen??!!!!!"

I immediately was teleported to the. exit my two matches for the day were done. I walked through the teleportation gate. That, oddly, just looked like a normal door. It was a black door and was the one going to Relix academy as related to the school uniform color. I walked through the door and found myself in the dorm sector of the school very conveniently. Nice.

I walked up to my dorm room. I was deathly tired and was sludging along to my dorm the entire time, and just took off my armor and flopped onto the floor.

And everything went dark, finally some sleep…

I woke up to the chirps of the birds and since I could hear the chirps of the birds; I assume I woke up on time and with enough time to get there, ugh, these days are going by oh so tediously. Waking up, I rolled over and expected to fall off of my bed, then remembered that I had been too tried to even get on my bed.

Hm, it was a beautiful morning out. I've seen some bad things and some god things eh, mostly bad now that I think about it a lot of my life is completely riddled with injuries crippling sadness and a lot of hospital beds.

I finally got up from the floor and realized there were drops of spit on the floor. I had been drooling, my hair looked horrible. Ponytail day it is. I stumbled to my bathroom and combed my hair back. I look like a vampire. Awfully pale sharp canines and a mean-looking resting face that doesn't disappear for god knows how long.

I got ready, putting on my armor and pulling my hair back into a ponytail. I washed my face and stretched, grabbed my sword and out the door I go. Once again I forgot to tell Leona I was leaving out but whatever she knows that I'm going to be gone every morning and so was she. She just often wakes up later than me.

Even though her morning has a more packed routing with her voice exercises the blasting fire of heat that she calls a shower and what I call the flames of hell but water. I take cold showers that are roughly 5 degrees.

Leona says that she would catch a fever and die if she showered in that kind of water. I think it's the perfect temperature. I reached the spot pretty fast and entered. I received a notification on my phone that said the arena would be using a grid shaped pattern so they can host a lot of participants at the same time.

Because they are just now realizing two matches per day for each and every contestant would take a long time to complete every match. How were they just now realizing that? I don't know what they were distracted with that they didn't know that it would take ages is beyond me.

Maybe the people at the helm of this tournament are too preoccupied with the war to care a bunch about the tournament. Which will by the way be naming the strongest person that is not an adult in the entire country, which may I remind you is a HUGE deal.

I finally got through the line. It looked like the split it into 50 matches at the same time with relatively decent sized squares each that were walled off from each other crazy how the architecture has been advancing so quickly in these past years.

Having the engineers have a qualified amount of skills. I have no idea what those requirements are, but I guess I'll just ask one of the people in the architecture and engineering classes about it. There seems to be a smaller amount of people in here. And a twenty-five minute time limit on each match seems reasonable. I found a shiny so-blond-almost-white-haired head poke up from the rest. It was Brian. I ran up to him and gave him a big hug. "Uh, nice to see you to Sapphire." He said with a smile. He's around 5'10 now. And I'm… 5'6 sadly

(in feet people yes in feet not meters)

I feel very small when fighting especially men since they average at 6'2 while most women average at 5'10 I predict I'll only be 5'8 to 5'9 but I need to have faith in my genes that were good enough to give me these bright blue eyes that I've been told are "Such an array of beautiful shades of blue more beautiful than any sky or any ocean." -Brian.

But maybe all my gene luck is out. "Sapphire, this is getting a little awkward don't get me, wrong, I love you but everybody and I mean everybody is looking at us." "Oh, yeah, sorry." I said, backing up with my hands behind my back.

"I haven't seen you in a while." "Haha, Jinx! You owe me a sandwich." "Double Jinx! You owe me a bag of chips!" I laughed off the double jinx. "But really, I haven't seen you in a bit." I said, calming down. "Yeah, I've been falling asleep as soon as I get home every day. Some of these matches, just staring at them makes me exhausted."

"I get it." I responded with a smile. "All that matters is that you're right here, right now." I said with a smile. "I guess." He responded, smiling even wider than I. "Majority of contestants will come down now.

They called out 100 names. I heard my own name and not Brians. I was immediately transported down time for another match.

… Meanwhile, in Gryza…

We mobilized troops 250,000 mobilized right now, only a quarter of our land forces. All with a PR over 16. I looked out of my window, a beautiful sight, yet undeserved for me. As I have helped and sent hundreds of thousands to be mobilized and kill hundreds of thousands more.

I looked around and picked a picture of myself young, impressionable and curious. Would he be proud of me now? The answer? I already know it. Of course not. He'd be disgusted with me. EVen though I am myself now and in the past I'm disgusted with myself right now too.

I saw my mother and thought about what I was doing. I'm doing it for this country for the deserving and the undeserving, but does that mean those on the other side don't deserve to live? The answer? Mixed in my mind mixed responses even if I were to ask the others in this country that has been built off of war and strife and suffering,

Of the lower class of PR. I am a soldier, a mere soldier

yet wherever I am, I bring war

and strife a mere soldier,

yet I make children cry?

A mere soldier that doesn't know what's right

. A mere soldier that keeps marching on,

for the sake of the fight…
