Multi school tournament 4

Sapphire…

The person I'm fighting against has been watching my fights because he didn't just rush in and start punching or kicking. He studied my moves. Can he copy my moves like that other guy? Hopefully not they look very similar. Maybe they're brothers.

I rushed into him and tried to get a hit on his upper head, yet he simply matched it. Ugh. Again, another copy-cat. He winced. He could almost match my strength. This might be hard. The last time I had a hardship like this in fighting another student was that one mission to completely shut down Evil.

I tried countering, but he blocked my leg with his forearm to his face. He pushed my leg off and punched me in the stomach. "F***!!!" I yelled. That probably broke a bone, I thought as I backed up as fast as possible. Alright, strategy time. "Where is all that spice you showed in the previous match? Can't believe I was worried."

"To think you're the one who saved all of those students from dying on that day." He's so arrogant, but I can't let his words get to me. I looked at him with a glare. "You're just a commoner thinking you're so high and mighty because you saved some people, you low-born orphan!"

I bit my lip and looked with more disgust. He's just trying to taunt me. "Look at you so high and mighty, even though your dad's in your mom's in a mysterious coma-" "Don't look at me with such disgust."

He said, why was he so angry at me? "You dropped tar face. What's her name, Kyla!"

I flew into a state of anger and rage. But I put those emotions in chains as soon as I felt them bubble up to the surface of my mind. I deem them too dangerous. "You going to finish more time talking or fighting? Loudmouth.

Those words kind of hurt but, I'm not going to let him know that it affected me because then he wins. I used my phantom step skill, but he was prepared as was I. We had a quick exchange of blows where we were both knocked back/ He perfectly matched every move that I put out.

I'm going to enforce myself with hacht now, which will give me a large advantage over him in the strength category. Putting a shield of hacht around my arms and legs, I could see the air being disturbed by the Hacht in the air. And then my armor was glowing in the red crystal-like veins.

I ran to him with my buffs. He put his hacht on too. I'm guessing he sensed my Hacht activating and decided to try matching it with mine. But he is outmatched. My entire specialty in Hacht is destruction nothing more and nothing less, so this "shield" isn't a shield sort of Hacht on my legs, it's razor-sharp coated blades that smash and cut everything they touch but severely toned down.

Of course, so I don't accidentally end up hurting him to the point of no recovery, or worse. I rushed towards him and he rushed towards me and I clashed with him. The clash was so strong we weren't even touching each other and forces of wind were cracking like thunder and the ground was splitting.

His Hacht was being stressed and cracking. In the end, his Hacht ended up failing and being destroyed, sending him sparking with leftover energy into the wall that caught him like plastic or rubber.

Yet could still handle the clash that just went on interesting. He plopped onto the floor and was teleported to what I think was the medical bay. "Sapphire is the winner!!!!!!" I could hear the crowd cheering loudly as they had seen an epic battle. They didn't hear any of the conversations, of course.

The microphones only picked up the sounds of battle. I was teleported back up into the same waiting room this time since they finally decided to give us an effective arena.

I just want to take a nap, but was he right? Am I just a random orphan who thinks I'm all that because I saved a lot of people? Or am I just lucky? That's the stupidest thought I've ever had.

I literally have the WORST, the absolute WORST luck of all time and I can acknowledge that yet I'm still here alive and kicking after all the hospital visits, crippling sadness and all.

In fact, I think I'm pretty damn hard to kill.

I didn't go to the infirmary for a broken bone it would heal in maybe a day or so. I sat down. I had an hour-long break before my next fight, hence allowing me a break and also not having every single round go for hours. Since we were finally in the finals with the top one hundred people who made it are the only people who are still here.

Hence why it was kind of hard to defeat the last one. There is in fact nothing to do and I am bored. I almost dozed off while trying to actually stay awake for this… An odd form of torture. Brian had just match and was quite energy-filled with the adrenaline of his last win.

He went and sat next to me, "This is awfully boring isn't it? Why don't we get out of here for a while and have some fun while waiting for our turn? "No." "Why?" "I'm tired." "Just get up." "I don't feel like it." He grabbed my arm and pulled me up from my chair. "What are you doing!?"

I asked him. "Dragging you along." "Okay, okay, I'll come with, but we barely have 45 minutes. What are we going to do at that time? He thought. "I dunno. Go get some lunch." "I'm down," I said immediately. I made sure I had my debit card so we could split the bill, as was common courtesy.

I followed him to a sub-sandwich stand and ordered a meatball and marinara sub sandwich and Brian ordered. Ham turkey, cheese and lettuce. We both sat down and had some pleasant talks and laughs. I'm glad he was pushy when wanting me to come. If not, I wouldn't have had the pleasure of a moment like this.

Fifteen minutes left. We need to go right now. I walked fast dodging aunty sort of another person around me and carefully doing so until eventually I got to the waiting room just in time for my name to be called along with another person that I'd be matching up against all of this is so irritating and dry.

I got up and was teleported to the ground, glad stood up or else I would've fallen en flat face on my butt. This time we were in a snowy mountain terrain quite the change in scenery.

I saw the girl I would be fighting against in the snow. I figured I'd simply hide behind a boulder in the snow and sneak up on her. But her suddenly just disappeared.

Very sneaky, I can't even sense her is her power. The ability to simply become stealthy. I can tell she didn't turn invisible because invisibility doesn't erase your presence. It erases the sight of yourself.

I saw an odd white splotch dashing across the snow, then pounced on top of me. I was fighting her on the ground and got a solid punch off on her face. She tumbled to the side off of me and I regained my balance as she roiled over. She was almost completely camouflage in white.

She resembled a white leopard, then she disappeared once again into a blur. This is so irritating how am I even supposed to finish this if her entire technique is. Pounce run pounce run pounce run. This is so stupid. She went in for another pounce and I backhanded her with my fist on the same weak spot as before that I punched her on. She tumbled to the side again, and I ran up through the treading snow and kicked her like a soccer ball.

Just to make sure she was knocked out, but then her eyes rolled up and turned red. Okay now I'm worried. I threw a punch, and she dodged it like she saw it coming. What are those refl- my thoughts were interrupted by a deadly claw coming towards my face that scratched me from the edge of my cheek to the edge of my cheek?

I touched my face and smeared the blood on accident wiping it off The wound wouldn't stop bleeding and wouldn't even smoothly heal And she was still hitting claws at my face. This might be a little difficult.
