He finished his lecture and I swear I feel like somebody's got some sort of malicious intent towards me because I can't shake that feeling off of my back. Walking outside of the classroom, I looked around and saw a pair of eyes look at me angrily. I kept walking forwards then bumped into someone by accident.

The person threw me a sharp glare and pushed back with a grunt, walking on. What's wrong with people nowadays? Maybe with the war and all of that stuff, people are becoming more aggressive than usual and it's leaking into everyday life. But that's just a theory and I have no proof that's what's been going on.

And did I just make a whole theory because a kid was a little more aggressive than usual when I accidentally bumped into him? I let my mind wander too much. Now it's lunch but I'm not going to eat lunch, I went up to the very top floor which is pretty high up, and leaped out of the window grabbing the part of the roof that extended further off the wall I climbed up onto the roof. That wasn't flat, which made it even more dangerous walking carefully until I found the flat spot on the roof.

Sitting down, I looked off into the distance and saw the ocean and stared out at the great sparkly blue sight. The smell of salt wafted up to my nose carefully, then a large gust of salty air blew my way, making my semi-long hair blow back furiously into the wind. Therefore, the roof is my favorite space to chill out. It's even prettier at night when you can hear the crashing waves and look up to see the just as beautiful stars.

Grabbing my hair and sweeping it carefully back, I sighed, thinking about my dear friend that I had lost while in Lokust's custody. I shivered intensely, thinking about the experience of thirty days of hell. How I had also lost my voice, for what I thought was permanent. I still have scars all over my torso and a small one on my head.

Sapphire and Brian had undergone this miracle surgery that had made all of their scars disappear and, to a tiny extent, their mental ones, too. I was envious at first, then happy for them, but still a little jealous in my heart knowing that nothing could ever heal my scars.

Whatever enough thinking about that, I tossed the thought into the back of my mind and focused on the view that I had up here. Then I heard the rough scratching of shoes on the roof. It was Raimy. He waved with a smile on his face. "How're you adjusting?" He asked me, sitting down softly next to me and becoming completely enchanted with the sight up here.

"I can see why you come up here," Raimy said with a pure smile on his face. That smile had made me fall in love with him. I blushed at the thought. "You're looking a little red, are you okay?" He said, putting his hand on my cheek. "Haha yeah, I'm fine!" I'm better than that.

I'm in love.

I leaned on his shoulder. "I wish we could stay like this forever, y'know?" I told him, looking out at the ocean with dreamy eyes. "I do too. It's not fair that we're the generation that has to fight in some stupid war." Raimy said, leaning his head onto mine, "Yeah,"

We stayed like that until we heard a bell ring for ten minutes to get into the next class. I walked with Raimy, holding his hand while tip-toeing on the roof carefully. Letting go of Raimy's hand, I then grabbed onto the roof and jumped into the already open window. Hopping in, I saw Raimy create a metal plate for him to step on and hop into the window.

"Showoff," I commented under my breath. Raimy then tapped his temple and spoke with a slight cockiness in his voice. "Work smarter, not harder." I turned around and walked briskly to my class. I walked past the hallway that contained the mural in it. My heart skipped a beat, and I winced. If only I was this strong then...

Snapping my head away from the hall that hosted the mural, I intended to get enter my next class PR class. Which was never boring, had a nice teacher and was useful to me. Making it one of the main good highlights of my day. In all my years at this school, it was always the highlight of the day for me.

Walking into the class, it was dark as usual, with only a small amount of light where he would be taught with a board slightly illuminated. In two minutes, he'd turn the lights on and he'd be teaching, of course. In two minutes, he turned the lights on brighter. "Good afternoon students!"

He said passionately. As usual, Professor Clein had a real genuine passion for teaching, which made me excited to come to his class every day. He's also the reason I want to become a teacher, to touch the hearts of students and others and make a lasting impact on others through my teachings.

Yeah, but obviously with all of this war going on, I'm not sure I'll even be able to become a teacher If I end up dying in the war. Which would be horrible. What comes after death anyway? Does another life come after death? I sure hope so, because I want to do everything possible.

There are no records of anyone becoming immortal... Yet. Because one day some young child will awaken with the power to never die. No matter how old the person gets or how many wounds injuries the person gets. Hell, if they got incinerated! Wait a minute, I need to ask because what I just thought of could change the world forever.

I raised my hand as professor Clein was still chatting with students as he does for the first ten or so minutes every day. "You may speak Leona." He said, calling my name. "Hypothetically, what if I just came up with a possible way to become immortal?" I asked, "Well hypothetically, I'd ask you what your way to become immortal is to hear you out and tell you if it's plausible or not."

"Professor. Clein, do you want to "hear me out" ?" The entire class went silent. This is just a hypothesis but I need confirmation if it would work or not from a professional and if he says it's plausible then... I don't know.

"Sure Leona, let's hear it. How did you find a way to become immortal?"
