"So, since every living thing has some sort of core and all living things die eventually, why is it that they die?" I opened with a question. "Because eventually, an event happens that either drains the core of all of its energy, such as bleeding out or something, lives so long that its core stops working efficiently and the core stops working efficiently."
"But why is it that it doesn't work efficiently after some amount of time?" "No one knows." He responded deadpan. "My theory is that as everyone knows our cores, as we make them more powerful, the energy that it uses is purer and keeps getting purer and more efficient. But what if the reason why we die is that the energy that's constantly cycling and being stored in our cores is impure and kind of working like rust on an engine?" He put his hand on his chin.
"So reaching an incredibly high PR would completely rid your life force from impurities that you think are the reason why we die from old age and other natural causes?" "Yes, but if it were that simple someone would've done it already, you see, no one knows where our initial jumpstart of life force comes from when we're born. As energy can't come from nowhere. And just reaching an incredibly high PR like two hundred would be nearly impossible before just dying."
"So how would you think that becoming, "Immortal" would work? How would you completely purify the circulating energy from the core to allow it to never "rust" and just circulate forever?" "It would have to be the correct procedure, but I know nothing about doing surgeries or medical procedures of any kind, but the procedure would have to be able to remove the percentage of "impurities" from one's core."
I then sat down in my seat and took a large breather. "Leona, come meet me after class." He said with a perplexed look on his face. I kept brainstorming. How would a procedure like that work?? How? Wait a minute. Hacht is how medical professionals heal people, so a highly focused tendril of Hacht is enough to pierce into life force energy.
I need to talk to Professor Clein about this, after class, hopefully. Professor Clein drew up an entire human body. Including the power veins at the core and the blood veins. He double-tapped it and it floated off of the screen. He snapped once, and the lights turned off and Professor Clein threw all four separate 3-D models and split them up.
"Today we'll be talking about how the organs connect with the power core and how different things that affect your organs affect your core." "As you all know, the core can't be used while severely injured and while having extremely low blood. You see, the power distributing veins here? He said, tapping right at the heart that was intertwined with red veins and green veins that were both wrapped together with connections all over the heart."
"If you get stabbed in the heart or around any of these major body parts, your power veins get damaged left to intertwine and reconnect through healing. These veins right here would take the longest to heal and you'll probably die if you get stabbed in the heart, but let's go to the liver."
"This right here is why it's incredibly hard for many people with higher PRs to get drunk, high, or any sort of intoxicated." Professor Clein said, pointing at the liver and enlarging it. It was absolutely tangled and intertwined with life force veins. "Let me show all of you what your liver does when it encounters alcohol coming its way. "
He put on a video of an engine pumping at maximum efficiency, pumping out heat and smoke. "Your brain also heals extremely fast from any sort of intoxication, especially at the levels you all are at right now." Most of this classroom had never even had a drink before, so hearing they'd never have a first time that a lot of the lower class got made them roll their eyes and groan.
"Times up already?" Professor Clein dismissed us all, but I stayed until everyone had left. "Ms. Raiton, your theory has been genius so far and I have never had a more brilliant student in this classroom. Your inability to speak has been really unfortunate, if only I knew you were such a genius before."
"But the real question are you willing to help me develop this way of becoming immortal with a team of more professionals?" "Yeah!" I said with mountains of enthusiasm. "Alright, then, I'll get to contacting the professors of other academies to get advice and ways to improve your theory, and yes, you will get credit for all of it."
I nodded, picking up the book that I used for note-taking and walking out. I walked to my locker briskly and dropped off my stuff. The halls were clear, allowing me to run to my dorm so I could theorize in a quieter setting with more focus. I had thoughts swimming up in my mind that I saved every time a possibly amazing idea had popped up.
Walking into my dorm, I plopped onto my bed and grabbed my personal book for taking notes. Writing down the basic idea of a Hacht tendril going in and pulling out the impurities, I got stuck. How would it cling to the Hacht tendril? I looked inside of myself for the answer.
I think I have a reason why no one has ever noticed the impurities before and just thought that as one gets a higher PR, the energy they produce just gets better. And more efficient. It's because no one has ever thought about it from a different angle. What if all the potential to get to a higher PR is already there and just needs to be purified?
The PR is measured by the purity and the amount of life force. I wrote it down in the neatest handwriting I could with the best erasable pen, with the best paper I had. Getting into a meditating state, I looked inside myself, deeper and deeper inside myself. But I didn't find what I was looking for.
Then I looked at the tendrils that connected and flowed to my core like a heart has blood vessels connected to it. I tapped them and looked at them, studying carefully. Until I saw a black spot go through one of my veins. Looking closer, I could see the parts that I speculate to be the impure parts when they flow through, my core they clumped together and passed through again to gather more and flow through again.
It was only a little at a time, but now I have an idea...
