Zel.

I walked towards the palace. The emblem of my family shined and turned heads as I hurried. I saw the two standing guards seeing the emblem on my jacket. They immediately let me pass and bowed. Every single guard I passed bowed upon seeing my family emblem.

I eventually entered the royal court, then went through the inner royal court which contained Mary's office and living space, which she hardly ever used since she always slept in her office. I knocked on the door. Mary came and opened it. "Uncle Ryhem..." I furrowed my eyebrows and glared at her, "You made group Ace. What's wrong with you?"

I asked her, my voice tainted with frustration and anger. "I have to win the war at all costs. Nothing takes priority over it." What happened to her? Did this godforsaken royal court get to her, or is this just what she's been like? And I just didn't notice all the signs, as I was too blinded by her future promise?"

"You're wrong life is way more important than a stupid war for greed will ever be."

I took a pause to think about what I wanted to say next. "You may have lost your way with time, but I sure haven't, and neither has my family." I stated with confidence, "Now I want you to walk in there and make the calls for a peace treaty and never think about war again unless we're not the ones who started it."

Mary nodded and went inside the room I followed her and she started dialing a number then called it, "This is queen Fylar I'd like to tell you..." What was she about to say?? "That Fylar will never back down and will only stop warring after you are under our control your people our sla-" I grabbed Mary by her collar and slapped her.

I looked at Mary with disgust and anger, then tossed her aside. I then ran to where the captain lived. The captain is the most powerful person in the entire empire. He's off the record and has been for hundreds of years whenever there's a big as that he gets to hear. About he decides whether it's a just or reasonable war and if it's not....

Let's just say the king and queen won't end up with a very nice punishment. I was in front of a medium-sized cabin with warm lights and smoke coming from it. My heart beat faster and faster as I walked to the door in anticipation. He had already sensed me and opened the door. "Hello bud," Captain ruffled my blonde hair, or his more comfortable name that he rather us call him by and what I mean by us is the rest of us under his domain of power.

Zel. That's what everyone younger than him calls him when off duty, "Hello Zel, unfortunately, I am here to bestow greatly saddening news upon you." He furrowed his eyebrows on his perfectly handsome face with a light beard, dark blemishless skin, a jawline so perfect it looked almost unreal, and bright blue eyes with yellow branching out from his pupil like a sunflower surrounded by a sea.

Seeing him would make any person rethink their preferences in relationships just at a glance in his eyes. He opened the door for me first and I walked through. The inside was much larger than the inside, by an unreal degree, yet still cozy, with a fireplace much stronger than usual blasting inside the house with the smog going out of the chimney.

I sat down on one of the red-furred couches across from Zel. "So what did you want to tell me?" Zel said, stirring some tea that magically appeared in his hands. "The king and queen have decided to go to war."

I said calmly while clenching my fists.

"Okay, and?"

I sighed heavily, "The thing about this war is that first, we started it declared it on a country that was peaceful to us since the last war with them, which may I remind you happened around 450 years ago. And wasn't even the country it is now. And second, we have absolutely nothing to gain from this except more money, which will not benefit our country at all as we are already the richest country on this continent, and second, more weaknesses." I said it all fast and in one breath, hoping he would understand.

He nodded and signaled for me to keep going. "They're recruiting children, some not even fifteen yet, to fight in the war." Zel's eye was twitching furiously, "And they created a special group for people with PR's 18 and above, just like..."

At that moment, Zel's cap on his temper flew off like a rocket. "THEY WHAT??!!" He screamed furiously. His killing intent forced me into the ground, violently making my head bleed. A reminder that I am human. It had been an extremely long time since I had seen my own blood a solid couple of centuries.

He calmed down and sat back in his seat. He saw my bleeding head snap and all of my glowing blood disappeared and the cut healed instantly. "I'll behead them both, Ryhem. Your family's the next dynasty doesn't mess up." Zel disappeared instantaneously.

I guessed where he was going and ran as fast as I could to get there. I arrived inside Mary's office and saw Zel. He had grabbed her by her neck and her face was purple. "Never! Never have I ever seen a royal court this corrupt!" She tried using her power. I could sense it, but Captain was too strong to even allow her to breathe.

Captain punched her straight through her stomach. He had her intestines in his hands and some of her heart, then he used his power to make Mary explode on the inside. Covering the entire room in intestines fingers, flesh, and some of her kidneys with little nuggets of intestines partly covering my shoes.

Some blood got on my face. I wiped it off with my hands. Captain snapped again, making all the solid chunks of meat disappear. He made sure to leave all the blood. Captain went and washed his hands for two minutes straight and came out of the bathroom with a frown still on his face.

"I trust that you'll deal with the king appropriately in a public execution for treason and put all the advisors who approved of this idiotic war in prison for seven decades." I nodded, "And of this moment I crown you king Ryhem. Don't mess this up. Also, I'm confident you know how to make the public easily accept you as the new king and Olivia as the new queen?"

"Yeah, I've got a pretty believable idea formulated." I responded calmly, "Good, gather up your family, tell them of their new position in the hierarchy."

"And for the last time."

"Don't. Mess. This. Up."
