Hey guys it's a couple months since we last talked hasn't it, we'll let me catch you up

On what's going on…okay first off I have officially joined team flash and everyone calls me impulse which I can't lie is pretty awesome, but enough about that I also got this crush on Caitlin and we flirt all the time…it's pretty funny watching her blush it's just so cute.

Anyways let's get back on track, now where was I….oh right Barry went to pick up grandpa Allen from prison yeah that's right grandpa is free bitches they thought could surprise me with his arrival but I'm a detective goddammit do they really doubt my skills 'Sigh' now I'm sad fuck them then assholes i will just pretend to be surprised tch…

"Guys can you please for the love of all things good tell me what we are doing!" I asks desperately.

" Bart honey…No we will not it is a surprise for a reason!" Iris says Cooley.

" Tch….I'll remember this and I will have my revenge!" I say dramatically.

"Hahahaha….oh man Bart don't be mad man just wait a little longer." Cisco says laughing at my pain.

" you know I don't like secrets!"I say defiantly.

Before we could continue the argument we all heard the door open showing both Barry and…grandpa Allen.

"WELCOME HOME HENRY!" Everyone shouts but me even though I knew about the surprise but to see him in front of me still makes me tear up a little bit.

" Thank you all of you!" I hear Henry say, but I decide to go to the kitchen away from everyone which did not go unnoticed by Henry.

{Henry POV}

"Barry who was that young man who just walked away!" I ask questionably.

"O-oh that's well that's your grandson…from the future!" Barry says nervously.

" Wow…I mean wow, but it seems seeing me has him a little emotional!" I say as I see everyone hang their heads low at my comment.

After I said that everyone took turns explaining to me everything they know and what has happened to my grandson Bart Allen, but after hearing their explanations I couldn't help but get a little emotional for Bart as well.

" I going to go talk to him!" I say as I walk off in the direction of Bart.

After following where Bart left to I found him in the kitchen just looking out the window, and after careful consideration I walked up to him and put my hand on his shoulder which seemed to bring him out of his thoughts before looking nervous when looking at me.

"Hey slugger!" I say with my charming smile if I do say so myself.

"H-hey…g-grandpa it's really nice to meet you!" After he says that I realize that this is the first time he probably has met me.

" are you okay Bart?" I ask knowing he is not.

" Not really grandpa…I feel like I'm all alone in this world and I don't want to be!" Bart says as he goes back to looking out the window.

" Bart you never alone all those people out there they see you as family and don't think I didn't notice the way Dr. Snow was looking at you Slugger!" I say proudly to which I hear him chuckle at my antics.

" Thanks grandpa..I just wish I could talk to someone about what I saw in the future, but dad says I could mess up the future or something." Barts say as he looks at me and the look in his eyes is the look I saw in the mirror for the last fifteen years while being locked up in iron heights.

"Bart how about you tell me we can sit right here and you can talk to me about there's no harm in me knowing right!" I say with my no nonsense look.

"Okay grandpa and thank you!" Bart says as he sits down next to me.

"Where do I start though" Bart ask.

"Just start at the beginning slugger!" I say to which he just nods and begins telling his story from waking to a wall of energy burning anything it touched to watching everyone burn alive to trying to save his sister Nora and Iris only to watch them burn alive then running into the speed force and coming out in this time period.

"Wow kid you have been through a lot haven't you?" I state as I feel tears welling up in my eyes as I hold my grandson close.

"Grandpa you I have your name!" Bart says which surprises me.

" Really what's is your full name?" I ask questionably.

" It's dads name just I'm called Bart instead Barry some people even called me junior I liked it..it made me feel close to you and dad growing up when he would run off to save the world and I saw him on tv I was always proud to have his name to continue his legacy…but then everyone died and I failed to protect them so I decided I didn't deserve his legacy or his name!" Bart says as he begins to cry on my shoulder while I just rub his back comforting him.

{Third Person POV}

As if on cue everyone closed in on the kitchen doorway and listened to what Bart said and Barry couldn't help but tear up before heading into the kitchen and wrapping Bart in a tight hug with Bart hugging him back.

{Barry POV}

"Bart…listen to me you are my legacy I mean look at you, you told me you had just unlocked your powers before running here and on your first run you were able to open a portal to the speed force and make it here I'm sure me and Iris would have been so proud of you and so happy that you survived." I say proudly while still hugging my son.

" but how do you know dad?" Bart ask questionably.

"Because I am proud of Bart and I always will be no matter what!" I say as I feel another pair of arms wrap around Bart and I know it's iris.

"Bart sweetie I am already proud of you and you are already my Best-friend so thank you my beautiful boy!" Iris says proudly before wrapping her arms back around her son in a tight squeeze.

{Bart POV}

"Thanks mom and dad…now get off of me with all this emotional stuff god dang it I'm Bart Allen aka impulse I don't do mushy stuff Hmph!" I say as I stand up and walk out into the living room leaving a group of laughing at my antics.

"That's our Bart!" I hear them say as I feel their gazes on my back as sit down on the couch drinking a beer.

"You all are just a bunch of softies!" I say confidently.

" uh huh and what does that make you?" Iris says

" it makes me the strongest there is!" I say proudly with my chest puffed out.

"HAHAHAHA" they all start laughing at me.

"HEY THATS NOT FUNNY…I was serious." I say as I deflate and just sit back down while drawing circles in the table.

With all the emotional stuff out of the way we got back to enjoying Henry's welcome back party and afterwards you all know how it went Henry decided to leave central city leaving me and dad a little sore about it but I know he will be safe for now, but I know it won't always be like that because I know Zoom is coming and I have to be ready…
