He smells good

Jane sat there looking like an idiot or at least that is how she felt. She couldn't decide if it was because he sat by her or if it was because he was attractive. She couldn't shake the feeling that he meant something to her. But how? She had never seen him before as far as she could recall.

He offered his hand to her and she just stared in confusion. She knew he had said his name but it didn't register. He knew he was being polite and here she was dumbstruck.

Jane's mind was off in disbelief. She had been in college for three almost four years. She was always in her books. Romance only bloomed in the books she read. She had seen her fair amount of guys. There are those boys that even books can't hide there good looks. Why was it that she was so stunned by him.

When she realized it was because he smelt good. Not in the i just showered kind of way. Which that was present too. It was something else and all she could do was smile. Her brain abandoned her. How did she turn into this girl. Where did her brain go? She wanted to come too.

She had seen this happen before and that scared her. Trader!. I am my own trader!. She scolded herself. Jane somehow managed to smile when he put his hand away. I probably look like i am jerk. Nope i look like a jerk. I could have held his hand and introduced myself. what are you thinking Jane she mumbled under her breath to herself.

Oh i am sorry there was something that caught my attention. Jane felt so stupid which was rare for her. "I am Jane she offered her hand." In some way to recover from her social disability she had just discovered.

It was Troy's turn to shut her down he simply just smiled as she offered her hand. Troy then pulled out a book. She took the cue that she had blown her chance and pulled out her own book. The same book that had almost starved her to death this morning. Jane was starting to wonder if this book was bad luck or something.

She was soon off in tale before tales. Nothing else really seamed to really matter. He was sitting there creating his magic aroma and she was spreading her wings and was off on her magical world. He would be forgiven in a flash. only for a moment.

What was this guy doing to her. she had no idea. Why was her concentration being interrupted at all. She had read through crying kids before. Onetime a kid throw a container of French fries in her hair. She didn't even notice. Some lady had to offer her help to remove them.

Jane was beside herself she looked over her book noticing him highlighting every now and again. He didn't even seam to give her a second glance. She decided to put her book away because she was starting to making up her own story in her head. He was now the face of hero in the story. Jane's eyes where betraying her. Her brain and her eyes in her own magical land. It was too much she had hit a small romantic spot in her book. Her face was starting to turn pink.

Next she pulled out her headphones and started listening to a podcast. she had downloaded and needed the day before. It was for a lecture in her physiology class. Physically was a required class. She didn't really find it interesting most days. The topic soon hit her like a tone of bricks. chemical hormones produced by attraction. How they effect our brains and why they are important. Dang it !! even her professor is against her.

She needed a good grade for this class or she would just copy off her friends notes. That and his smell was just too much for her. She decided to listen to it later.

She looked out the window and focused on the clouds. This was going to be a long flight do to Mr. amazing smell. She didn't even get his name do to her brain taking a vacation. Good thing she didn't meet him during finals week. she would have been in big trouble.

After 15 minutes of meditating her situation among the clouds. She started to calm down. She felt her body start to relax.

Chunks of chewed up crayons started flying over the seat. They started to rain on her and she was horrified. Could she not catch a break today. What was this kids problem. The boy from earlier was really pressing her patience. She didn't mind then as much as the spit that came along with them. Slobber chunks landed on her face. A small explosion had just gone off in her head. Jane had decided that she was never going to fly in a plane again it was official. It was questionable if she was going to ever in a million years have kids. She would die alone and Jane was ok with that.

This day was just not going anywhere close to plan. First she got a pat down by a man with a mustache and a last name was butt. No one wants to say i got a pat down by officer Butt. This was going in the vault. wouldn't have been so bad if his friends wouldn't refer to him as sir butt. Boys could be so odd because he seamed to like it.

She was already finished with the airport when Jane felt the coffee run down her chest. Jane always liked kids but her current situation with crayon chunks all over her made her want to yell at the mom. This went against her basic core beliefs she had developed working with her mom at the hospital. All of which she could have simply forgotten about if it wasn't for chemical warfare over here. Man did he smell good. There was definitely a comical reaction going on here. She didn't need her professor to explain it to her. Her coming of age talk with her mom was a once in a lifetime situation.

Jane was finished. She took out her blanket and hid under it. Her mind went back to being a kid hiding in her tent listening to her uncle tell her about the singing sirens. She would imagine the song they would sing. As she fell asleep making reference to her self that he was a sent version in her story. At least the blanket blocked it out a little as she slowly drifted off to sleep.
