The news of Reese's passing spread at such a rate. The small goodbye soon became a marathon. Every person that waked through the line had a story. A story on how they where inspired by him. His attitude his smile and his desire to overcome a major life challenge. He was an underdog and he lead the pack.
Ann decided to do a double showing so everyone could come and place their hand on the glowing rock placed below his urn. Some would pause for a second others would place a small item down next to his picture and say goodbye as they saw fit. There was no wrong way and no judgment. They all came for the same reading. Ann was moved to know what a wonderful person Reese had become and her heart burned with pride and sorrow for the loss of her boy. Even though his body was transformed his life died today.
The service lasted twice as long compared to most. Troy didn't know what to expect, this certainly wasn't it. He was grateful to know how many people cared for his brother. He was truly an inspiration to so many people. He seamed to touch every person in a way that Troy only wished he could. For the first time in his life Troy felt minimal to his brother legacy. Troy's heart was large a willing but Reese shown brighter then Troy could ever live up too.
Troy stood shoulder to shoulder with his mother. The fact that Reese was well and in recovery. In a medical view he was doing much better then he did in years. This should have given him closure, It didn't. It only made him mad, he was losing his brother and his best friend. His black suit couldn't even start to cover up the pain the wailed in his heart. It was clear to even Troy, Reese was more then just a man he was an inspiration to everyone.
Troy understand why he had to let him go. He just didn't want too. At the end of the service they took the urn out to Reese's favorite place by the beach. Together they opened it and let out the continence into the water, letting the water clam the urn and all. They watched as the black soot stained the water and eventually spread out thinning in all directions.
Reese was completely gone from their lives. All they could do is go back to their lives and remember him with a smile. Knowing that even with a different name he would still shine bright. Making the world a better place. For Reese his sole had already reached its full potential, you could see that in people around him. It was time for his body to play catch up.
