Renovatio's secret admirer!

Today was now Thursday. The boys missed two days of school after the fighting tournament Yoruichi had came up with. The mafiosi did end up making a shit-ton of cash and attempted to split it with his boss, who refused the offer. Soichiro did not want to accept any form of dirty money. Though it was hard to resist the money! He could've bought himself a few hoodies. Maybe a few gifts for Arisa! Nevermind, she'd never accept anything from a loser like him. He'll forever be alone. Yoruichi slapped his boss out of depression, quite LITERALLY, and dragged him out of his house. They had to attend school or else Lucia would kill them both. Something about "Education is more important than staying home all day" or something close to that. Whatever, he was going to go to school for the next hundred years. At least it felt that way. School is so goddamn boring!! It's undeniable that my fellow readers are probably reading this to cure themselves of boredom in class. For some weird reason, Yoruichi had not loathed school or even attempt to run from it. In fact, he loved school. He loves the damn place! How could he like it? It can't be because he likes math or science, now could it? No. He likes school because of the memories you can make. Memories are so precious to him... you never know when someone is going to leave you or be gone for years. Thats why it's so important to connect to people: So you don't lose the image of their smiles. Their laughs. Their cries. Every single moment was important to him.

Soichiro could sympathize with him. Memories were like a chain, holding every piece of information about himself together. His thoughts had been interrupted when Yoruichi had gotten in front of him and he fell onto the ground. What was going on? "Hey, Yoru. Why did you stop-", Soichiro began to speak before noticing what was happening. Renovatio was in the middle of the road with a confused look on his face. Someone had a display made for him on the ground of Namimori's streets. A picture of Reno had been on the concrete with the frame being a heart, and a few words had been right next to it. "Meet me at the theater, tonight! ♡" was what it had to say. Renovatio's hat covered his eyes and he let out a huge sigh. Yoruichi rushed over to Reno and slapped him on his back, "looks like you've got a secret admirer!! Well she won't be so secret once you go to the movies tonight!" Yoruichi shouted in the ears of the hitman. Renovatio had to slap himself a few times to get his ears working again. He punched Yoruichi in the stomach and turned to see Soichiro, who had been laughing at his friend. Guess he was getting payback for that tournament.

Renovatio slapped his student to gain his attention and cleared his throat. "It seems I will not be at your home for tonight. I have to meet this person, 'kay?" Renovatio said before running off. He didn't even give Soichiro the time to object to it. Alas, he'll have Reno's back for this one. "It feels kind of out of place to be a secret admirer in January. She could have waited two weeks for February." Soichiro said to Yoruichi, whom was holding a few tears in from Renovatio's punch, and walked to school. Yoruichi caught up with him immediately and stood next to him as if he was signaling any bullies that he was his boss's bodyguard. "I hope Kaname is sick or something. That dude is scary as hell!", Soichiro exclaimed to Yoruichi and stopped dead in his tracks when he saw Kaname at the roof top of the school. It appears that he was waiting for Soichiro and walked off to patrol the halls. Soichiro gulped and walked in fear of his life, along with Yoruichi laughing. I guess he was confident that his boss would win in a fight against the guy any day of the week. "Let's see. For gym, we should keep our distance from Kaname or the kendo club leaders. They surely have it out for us-", Soichiro was cut off from seeing one of the karate club leaders recruiting Arisa Aoi and another A-list. "Well, if you just sign here, you'll be in the karate club in a few days. Hotaru, you sure you want to do this", he asked the person next to Arisa and she gave him a nod. They then signed up for the club and walked away from the guy, only to end up bumping into Soichiro.

"Sorry! I hadn't noticed you!", She gave him a friendly laugh and Soichiro was tempted to disagree with them. Yoruichi stood speechless once he got a close look on her... she was beautiful. Her white hair had been long enough to reach her stomach, whilst the eyes had a far more unique feel to them. The outer shade of the eyes had been a light blue shade, and her pupils had been dark blue. She looked like a girl from a Disney movie, except she does not have a "cartoon" look. The ribbons in her hair were beginning to fall off and Yoruichi caught them the second they left her hair. "Thanks. You guys are in the same year as me. We should hang out soon. My name is Hotaru Hikari!" She said then got the ribbons back and walked off to class. Yoruichi was mesmerized by the radiance Hotaru had left him and Soichiro was clueless on why he was acting this way. "And he's supposed to be better than me.", he face palmed before grabbing Yoru's wrist and dragging him off to his next class. "Yoru, snap out of it! Science is up next and you know how sensei gets when we are late." Soichiro warned his friend and he snapped out of his trance-like state. Yoruichi knew how their teacher would get when they were late to class and it was not a pretty sight. In fact, it was QUITE ugly. Soichiro hoped that Renovatio was doing alright. You never know what could happen with secret admirers.

Speaking of Renovatio, he had been to a few places searching for clues left by this mysterious person. He had been to Q's place, where a riddle had been left there. "I sneak upon my prey, inject venom, and eat rodents alive. What am I?" was what the riddle had to say. He thought about it for a few minutes and pondered what it was. "It is an animal from what I can tell. Injection of venom? Most definitely a snake. But where does this lead me to?", Renovatio said aloud and gained a "ahem!" from Q. She wanted to help him solve the riddle and get him out of her place quickly. "You aren't from 'round here, right? Go to the zoo over in the south side of Namimori. It isn't too hard to spot. Just make sure to not do anything too drastic." She, without making it too obvious, pleaded of Renovatio. He seemed like the type to cause trouble everywhere he went. Hell, even bring it with him. We better hope that Q is wrong. Without further ado, he traveled to Namimori Zoo and searched for the snake exhibit. If he found it, it'd make this thing a whole lot easier. He was thankful that this person did not do it in February because many Valentines day attractions were sure to be on every nick and prick of the zoo. He ended up getting lost and having to be escorted by the guides to the snake exhibit. Just like he suspected, another clue was placed in one of the snake displays. "Why am I even doing this? We'll be meeting later tonight. Guess I'll keep doing this hunt until night falls." Renovatio said as a few hours passed by. Let's check up on Soichiro, shall we? Our boy was currently walking home from school with Yoru and Hotaru. They were becoming fast friends, weren't they?

"So you guys are playing mafia or something? I thought you guys were Yakuza." Hotaru said as they now reached the end of their block. She had been right; due to their Japanese heritage, all three of them would be considered "Yakuza". Yakuza was the Japanese equivalent of mafia. Soichiro chuckled and Yoruichi gave his boss a bright smile as they conversed with Hotaru. "Join the family! We'd love to have you!", Yoruichi had put a little more emphasis on love. Soichiro shook his head and disagreed with Yoruichi, clearly not wanting to drag the new person in his family. But, he doesn't get what he wants. "Sure, I'd love to play with you guys. Soichiro is the boss, right? I'll become his right hand!", Hotaru told Yoruichi and giggled. She was clearly teasing Yoruichi and he gave them a "hmph!". He will succeed at being his right hand, no one else. He eventually gave in and laughed alongside the two. Secretly, the two boys were worried for Renovatio and hadn't gotten a call or text from him. He didn't give them any updates on what was going on. It was out of character for Renovatio to not have texted them by now; he usually sends them memes of cats or transformers every five minutes. Soichiro's footsteps stopped and he had a look of determination on his eyes. He must have thought of something brilliant to have such a look. "Yoru, Hotaru, the three of us are going to check up on Renovatio at the theater. We can't be seen or they will both scram. You guys with me?", he asked of his friends. He would chicken out if he had been left to go alone. He was a true wimp at heart. "I'll follow you anywhere, boss!" Yoruichi exclaimed as he fist-bumped with Soichiro and beckoned Hotaru to join them. They had nothing better to do so they followed Soichiro and Yoruichi to the theater of Namimori.

The trio stood at the entrance of the theater. It had been abandoned for quite a long time. The other theater in Namimori was far from where they currently were and it'd take an a hour to get to it. The reasoning behind coming to the first theater was because it wouldn't make sense for the secret admirer to do anything in such an open place. This is why the first theater came into play since it didn't gain much attention from anyone besides tourists. "Well, here we are. We should be able to get in through the door in front of us. But its all patched up, so they must have gotten in another way. We'll have to searc-", Soichiro abruptly stopped talking once he saw Yoruichi point at broken window. His face met his palm and he sighed. For once, he felt like he was Sherlock. Way to go, Yoru. They entered the old theater through the broken window and coughed immediately upon entering. There was so much dust around here that Soichiro wouldn't be surprised if someone died because of it. It did have a good look on it though. Ahead of them was a ticket booth with a bright light shining on it. Hotaru went towards the ticket booth and hopped into it. She turned around to see a picture; it was a big, happy family. The mother and two boys looked undeniably happy. The father's face had been scribbled out on the photo, as if the person did not want his identity shown. "That looks weird. Ahh, some kid probably was just messing around with it." She said before hopping out of the booth. The trio stood together in a circle and one was praying for all three of them. "Lets go spy on Reno!", Yoruichi said with his fist pumped into the air. Hotaru didn't know the guy at all nor had heard of him until earlier but still raised their fist along with Yoruichi's. Soichiro did the same as them and they marched right into the movie display room.

Their eyes had gotten used to the darkness in the previous room. So they were a bit surprised to see light. They quickly moved to a row of seats and got down on their knees to not reveal themselves. Renovatio was definitely in the same room as them because you could hear his infamous ring-tone from his iPhone and he rarely goes anywhere without it. "So, I'm guessing this is where you come out." Renovatio told his secret admirer and they did end up stepping out of the shadows. A girl was seen a few meters away from Renovatio and looked dangerous in every single way. Her long and wavy black hair reached the end of her back and a red scarf had been around her neck. Her purple eyes had a tired look in them but they had brighten up once she saw Renovatio. She stood there with her right hand gripping on the scarf wrapped around her neck, "You came. The world's greatest hitman." She said to Renovatio. Soichiro peeked and stared at the girl, noting that she was dangerous. She is a mafiosi, isn't she? She must be if she knows Renovatio. "The Wild Flower." He addressed her by her infamous title, showing much respect to her. He took off his hat and threw it to her, who had caught it with ease and stared at it for a few seconds. This was a bit awkward, wasn't it? Maybe she was a bit shy to talk to him up close. She put on his hat and gained a laugh from Renovatio, then she began to laugh with him. She hugged him and they must have not seen each other in a long time. She rubbed her cheek against his chest and earned a stifled gasp from Yoruichi. "Does this mean...Renovatio has a woman!?", Yoruichi whispered to Soichiro. Soichiro was dumbfounded by this question. Renovatio would NEVER be in a long relationship with a woman from what he has seen. The guy is a hitman, who should be smart enough to know that having a lover would put her in plenty of danger. "Well, this seems a little personal. Don'tcha think we should get out of here-", Hotaru stopped speaking when a bullet was fired at the row they were currently in. Yoruichi jumped up and began to drag his boss out of there. He stopped when, a sai, which had a sharp metal prong along with the sideprongs being just as sharp, was next to his foot. "I wouldn't move if I were you three. What brings you guys here?", the woman asked of them all. Hotaro rubbed the back of her head in response and Soichiro cleared his throat. "We came to check up on Reno. We were worried since he hadn't been responding to our calls or texts." Soichiro stated. The woman smiled and Renovatio got his hat back, then laughed once he heard his student's explanation. "I'm sorry, Chi-Chi! I didn't have time to text you back because I was busy running from bears." He stated ever so casually. Soichiro's jaw hit the floor and Hotaru looked at him in amazement, while Yoruichi was trying to get the Sai out from the ground. "I'm sorry for not having introduced myself. I'm Stella from the Giove Famiglia. But please call me Hoshika, I want you guys to be as comfortable around me since I'm not a fully blooded Japanese." Hoshika said with a smile written all over her face. "Oh, okay. So then how old are you?" Hotaru asked of Hoshika. She acted as if she did not hear that and poked Renovatio on his chest. She pointed to Soichiro, "Is he Lucy's kid? He has her eyes." Renovatio nodded.

"Oh, you poor thing. " Hoshika said happily before moving so insanely fast that Soichiro didn't even realize he was being hugged by her. He cried out for the help of Renovatio, but that was to no avail. The man had been chatting with Yoruichi and Hotaru, who was a bit oblivious to Soichiro's pain. "This was a wild goose chase, in my case. I actually thought she loved me." Renovatio said with a smirk on his beautiful face. "He's undeniably the best boss." Yoruichi said to Renovatio. The hitman clicked his tongue before walking off, "He has a long way to go."

Soichiro was now in his room, currently on the ground with a piece of paper in front of him. He drew a few pieces of him dead then getting back up again with nothing but his boxers. "So what causes this anomaly? I somehow end up dying then the next minute, I'm alive and nothing can even hurt me." Soichiro thought aloud. Though, his theory may be wrong on the last bit. It just feels like he is invulnerable when this "anomaly" occurs. It usually feels like his body wants to break down every single second, but it doesn't. He also gains some type of newfound strength. This type of thing only happens when he is in a bad situation; Take the fight against Kaname for example. He was severely outclassed by Kaname; He was a puppy compared to Kaname. However, in his time of need, something hit his head and forced him to undergo the power that was previously mentioned. "Boss, maybe you are being a little too harsh on yourself. You are strong, you just haven't tapped into that strength unless you really need it." Yoruichi said after sneaking into his house through a window. Soichiro shook his head to what his friend had to say and gave him a worried look, "Sadly, I'm not that strong! I'm the average guy on this planet!" He said to Yoruichi. Its just a matter of time before he cracks the code. Renovatio came in the room and looked at the paper Soichiro drew on, "What are you doing?" Renovatio asked of his student. Soichiro gave him the rundown of what he had been thinking and Renovatio sat down with a cup of coffee in his hands.

"It was I who shot you with a Dying Will Bullet in those times. You see, what you are describing is a Dying Will Mode. The dying will mode removed your external limiters, increasing your strength to fulfill your dying will. Dying Will Bullets are 'fueled' by your regrets, without any... they are just ordinary bullets." This also entails that Renovatio could kill Soichiro if he does not be careful. The knowledge that was just bestowed to him was frightening indeed. He basically gets a zenkai boost, but it is also a Pay To Win type thing as well. "WHY THE HELL DO THESE BULLETS EVEN EXIST?!"

And there you have it. Soichiro now learns the truth of his zenk- I mean power boosts. Anyways, Let's welcome Hotaru and Hoshika to the family!

Soichiro: Well, thats just great. I could die if I don't have any regrets. I have many but still.

Yoruichi: I'll protect the boss!

Soichiro: thats sweet of you but you don't have to-

Yoruichi: Its my duty... as your right hand man!

Hotaru: That would be me >:)

Hoshika: Who is Kaname? Is he some tough guy?

Oh no, he's a bad ass- let me stop spoiling. Anyways, I hope you guys enjoyed.
