There stood our young boy, Soichiro, and his new friends. Yoruichi, Hotaru, and possibly Kaname. Though Kaname might have just been there to fight him again. Or was it simply coincidence? He didn't know. Preferably, he did not wish to fight against Kaname and wished he would go away. Kaname shot Soichiro a glare and continued his way towards their school, effectively installing fear into his rival's heart. "You shouldn't mind Kaname. He is just doing his job: Stopping any trouble from being caused." Hotaru said as the trio stepped foot inside the school and all of the students that had been present were gossiping about a prank that had been pulled. It had caused a riot in the school and everyone had been sharing videos or pictures of what had happened. The obly problem about this is that Soichiro hadn't known what was going on. Arisa Aoi approached the three and bowed to Soichiro, earning a few looks from a few boys and girls. "Soichiro-San... please tell your mother that I'm grateful for all the help she has given me on the upcoming bake sale!", Arisa said with joy on her face. Wait, back up a little bit. His mom was... helping one of the most popular girls in school and hadn't bothered to tell him. That she-devil! Somewhere in his house, his mother sneezed and raised an eyebrow. "Either I caught a cold or Soichiro was talking down on me." Lucia stated before folding his laundry.
"Oh, I'm glad my mom helped. I bet she couldn't resist helping you bake sweets!", Soichiro said with a light chuckle at the end. She looked at him for a brief second and began laughing with him. The two were clearly hitting it off and Yoruichi didn't want to be a buzzkill. He grabbed Hotaru's hand and dragged her to their class; He is the ultimate wing-man. "Man! I wanted to see what Soichiro was going to do after she is done laughing!", Hotaru said with a pout and huffed at Yoruichi. He ignored Hotaru and marched on to class. Arisa stared at his eyes and leaned a bit closer to get a better look on them. Soichiro began to blush a deep pink as she got closer to his face, "You know... Soichiro-san, you should participate in the bake sale with me. I think you'd be helpful!" She said with a warm and fuzzy smile on her face. Soichiro didn't know how to say "no" to her and just nodded wildly. "Sure, Arisa-chan! Just hope I don't end up messing up your sweets." Soichiro said before the bell rang and class was about to start. His eyes widened in surprise; Time passes by ever so quickly, doesn't it? He bowed to Arisa and ended up running to class, leaving her alone in the halls. Or so she thinks. Remember the kendo club guy Soichiro fought and beat? He was right around the corner of the hallway and grinned. Seems someone horrible is going to happen.
Meanwhile, Yoruichi was busy getting a lecture from one of the teachers. "We do not drag students by their hands here at Namimori Middle! I don't know what trash of a school you came from but that is not how we do things here!", this old hag yelled at Yoruichi. She just insulted his old school back in Italy? She was lucky that they weren't here or else she'd be in a hospital bed. "Really, its fine. We were just playing around!", Hotaru said with a casual tone. The young person didn't have a care in the world for what this old woman had to say, but their friend was not getting into trouble over something as stupid as this. "Young lady, you don't have to lie for this scum. He will be dealt with the proper punishment!", the old teacher said before an irritated sigh came from Hotaru. She hated it when women decided to use their gender as a way to gain control and power over small things like this. "He did nothing wrong, you fat old pig." Hotaru said to the teacher and walked off with Yoruichi. The old woman stood there speechless, completely shocked that she was called a pig. "Thanks for the assist back there. I was so close to just smacking her!", Yoruichi said with a slapping gesture. Hotaru laughed and they walked to class, where their teacher was confused on why they were so late. He didn't pester them about it and told them to go to their seats, a topic is about to be discussed. As they did so, Soichiro barged in and jumped onto the floor of the classroom. Why did he perform such an act? You could see Kaname, one of the disciplinary committee, in the halls and having a genuinely confused expression on his face. "Ugh, Soichiro. Just go to your seat!", the teacher said and Soichiro obeyed. Now, time for the topic he had been meaning to tell them all about. "You see, we will be having a bake sale in a few weeks. I know most of the people here love sweets, but remember: You can get cavities from eating too much sugar!", who is this man? Is he our mother? Afraid not. "As I was saying, anyone is allowed to participate in this. Soichiro's mother, for example, is helping many of the young girls and boys learn to bake pastries." Now why did he have to say that? Soichiro wished that he could just disappear. All eyes had been on him and some of the students had been laughing at him. Yoruichi, always being the bright one, gave him an enthusiastic shout. He was quickly hushed by the class and slumped in his chair. "Any of you that wish to partake in this, head to the class down the hall on the right."
After he said that, the halls had been filled with students once more. It didn't seem likely that most of the Namimori Middle kids wanted to go sign up for the bake sale; They took it as a chance to talk to their friends. "Boss, you should sign up for this bake sale stuff. It'd be fun, wouldn't it? Raising money for the school and all." Yoruichi said as the three of them strolled down the hall and Soichiro had a confused expression on his face. Fun? Good? Nope. Knowing the kids here, they would turn this "harmless" bake sale into a fiery competition. "Chi-Chi! Stop being so paranoid!", the familiar voice of Renovatio said and Soichiro jumped up out of fear. How did he get into the school?! Isn't he supposed to be somewhere? "I'm a substitute for Teacher Chan." Renovatio said before patting Soichiro on his back. "Just remember, your mom will be angry if you don't participate in this." He said with a cold smile and walked off to his class. Poor Soichiro. He can never catch a break. "Screw it! We'll do this thing!", Soichiro said with a smile to hide his nervousness and raised his fist. His friend copied his gesture and ran forward, a Renovatio smiling right behind them. Soon enough, they were apart of the bake sale and Soichiro had to learn how to even cook. Hotaru found this very funny and very reckless, "You don't even know how to turn on the oven! Gya ha ha ha ha!!" Hotaru's laughter bugged Soichiro and he wanted to punch Hotaru but refrained from doing it. Yoruichi, on the other hand, would probably have no problems with this since his mother had taught him how to make a few cakes in Italy. Lucky bastard! Arisa, who happened to be in hearing range, heard of Soichiro's troubles and offered a helping hand. "Maybe I can help you out! You can learn to cook and help me with my own pastry!" Arisa said to her new friends. Soichiro bowed immediately, "OH PLEASE HELP ME, ARISA-CHAN!" Soichiro was practically begging for help. She must have not seen it or something, "Alright. After school, you come to my place." Arisa said before waving goodbye and heading back to her class. Hotaru and Yoruichi began to coo at Soichiro, "Looks like the boss is in love!" They both said in unison. An irritated growl came from him, but they remained unaware of it and still kept making love jokes. They are assholes.
Once school had ended, Soichiro walked to Arisa's home and was scared to knock on the door. What if he found the wrong home? What if she was just joking around with him? There was only one way to find out. He tapped the wooden door with his fist and was surprised to see... Kaname. Kaname stood in front of Soichiro with an uneasy facial expression. Wait... Kaname is Arisa's brother?! Oh, this was so not good. Soichiro backed away and turned to leave, only for Kaname to pull him back by the collar of his shirt. "Not so fast, little bird. We still have a score to settle, don't we?", Kaname stated. Was his pride hurt because he lost to a wimp such as himself? Most likely– not even likely, it was a definitely. "But we will continue another time. Go chat with my cousin, I assume that is what you are here for." Kaname said before vanishing into the house. Soichiro stepped into the house and looked around, he saw Arisa and an older woman in the kitchen. He walked to them and waved at them, "Uh... hi? I was told to come here.. and Kaname invited me in." Soichiro said and the ladies beckoned him over. Arisa's black hair was tied into a long pony tail. It was to keep any strands of hair from falling into food. "Lets get started. Today, my nana and I will teach you how to make the "Blue Fish" that our grandmother's created a few generations ago." She said with a smile. If he had a nickle for everytime he has seen her smile, he'd only have 5. "Lets get started, shall we?"
