Chapter 1

10 YEARS LATER ....

"Good morning madam!" greet of the security guard.

"Good morning Miss Adele."

"Good morning Miss Adele."

It's another busy day for me on my work, lots of working load from different suppliers. Many paper works need to sort for the presentation for the meeting next week.

"Good day, Adele." greetings of Bea, my secretary and my also my dearest friend.

"Same to you Bea." I greeted then entered my office.

I felt exhausted although the working hours never started. Something inside of me was deeply longing for a long time. I stares blankly at the view outside of my office.

"Knock knock! Adele?" Bea entered the office holding his folder written my schedule for today. "You look pale today girl."

"Yeah, I slept for almost 2 hrs again." I sighed.

"Wow! You're still amazing, you're really close to your grave Adele. Lack of sleep at night was not good for your health."

" It's okay Bea. I'm still breathing so that's fine."

"Oh my Adele" Bea hugged me tightly. "Don't be harsh to yourself dear! 10 years is enough for you to felt that thing."

"Yes, it's been 10 years passed but still..... the memories still haunted me until now."

"I guess you have to move on Adele, it's for the better."

"You think that... it's for the better?" and I looked at the picture at the left side of my table. "Tell me?"

Today is the death anniversary of Rupert. And its almost 10 years felt like yesterday happened. Everything changed around me but in my case I'm still living on the past.

"Anyway I have a plan after work... I'm going to West Spring to meet Henry. In any case, would you like to come with me?"

"Bea do you think... it's okay for me to step in again to that place?" After the death of Rupert, I dropped out to that school and lock up myself to my room for almost 5 months. My parents... especially dad was so disappointed on me and didn't look upon me. Despite of that, my mom enrolled me in a school somewhere in a far away province. When I graduated in Senior High, I moved out to our home and live on my own. Since then, I swear to myself I will never step my foot to that place ever again.

"You know what... if you are not comfortable on going to that place... I can go by my own Adele." smiled of Bea.

"Okay... I will go with you."

"W-WHAT?! ADELE.... Are you serious?!" Bea was so shocked to believe that I'm coming with her on that place.

"I thinked... its about time Bea. It's been 10 years, there must be a change after all."
