Mie was on a planet where her mission was taking place. Mie was wearing a cowboy outfit with a cowboy hat but without cowboy boots.
She didn't have a lot of clothing, so she had to use the hand-me-down box to get something to wear, and that was what she could find.
"But of all the clothing I could find, why this?" said Mie as she walked with her team to the house of the mayor of the planet. "It must be Captain's."
Can12 was not a rich planet or a poor planet; it was just dancing on both sides. One year, it was going up against the richest planets called the Big 3, but then the next year it was so poor it was going to become the next Can3, where Mie was born and lived her entire life.
"It may be because it's still a new planet from the empire's point of view, so they haven't found a use for it," thought Mie and remembered her home planet was the same.
"But they gave up on mine," thought Mie as a small smile came to her face, remembering her home planet. "Looks like I am missing that junk land of mine."
"Planner, is something funny?" asked Red with a worried face. She was wearing a black suit, somehow adding to her red hair.
"You are worried that I am laughing," thought Mie and just looked at Red with a wide smile and joyfully said, "You worry too much."
"No, I just thought you would be worried because this is a 50% success mission, and we normally do those when Bam is with us," said Red as her face became more and more worried. She looked down and quietly said, "And this is your first time."
Missions in the Balmoral Empire are rated by how successful the warriors are going to be.
100% success missions are given to beginners and to show off the power of the military to the people of the empire.
90%-80% success missions are given to really weak teams.
70%-60% success missions are given to D and C teams.
50% success missions are given to teams that have an S warrior.
40%-20% success missions are given to S warriors only.
10% success missions are death missions.
0% success missions are [UNKNOWN].
"She is right about everything, but I don't know why, but I feel like this is going to be easy," thought Mie and looked up at the four stars in the sky. "Or maybe it's just that I don't care about this mission."
"Planner?" called out Red, still with that worried face.
"Like I said, don't worry too much," said Mie as they finally reached the Dolf Lord, the town.
A Dolf Lord watches over towns, villages, or cities of a planet, and they listen to the Planet Lord, who rules the entire planet. The Planet Lord listens to the Section Lord.
There are four sections in the empire, and those sections are ruled by two lords and two warriors chosen by The One.
The One is someone or something that has never been seen. The One rules the empire, but no one in the empire knows what it looks like except the Section Lords. Some say it's a god, and they worship it. Those people are called The One Truth.
The One Truths are a religious group that follows the rules of the empire to worship and believe AQ came from The One to give humans the power to kill all unknown races. They believe that {Exit} is The One, or they don't exist.
Almost everyone in the empire is a The One Truth. If they are not, they either believe The One is just a human or is the devil, and those people are called The One Lie.
Mie and Team 6 had to enter the front gate of the mansion where the Dolf Lord of this city, called Golden City, resided.
Steam blasted from the gate, covering everyone's face for a moment, and then as the steam disappeared, the gate opened.
They saw red roses that made a pathway from the gate to the door. Mie looked at it in wonder; it was her first time ever seeing a rose.
"Red flowers, wow, red flowers. I never thought I would ever see them in person," thought Mie joyfully, but her face showed no sign of that joy.
The area was filled with wind, and that wind came with silence. Mie liked silence, but this silence felt forced. There were people around the garden, and they were tending to the plants. Words didn't come out of anyone's mouth.
"They are really focused on their work," said Rain, walking from the back, wearing a black jacket and jeans and a white shirt, with a smile. "They're so focused I think they would be better at my job than me."
"No, you're good at your job. You don't have to quit," said Tori.
"Nobody talked about quitting, Red," said Mazel, walking at the back of everyone with her normal mad face.
"So you finally awoke from silence," said Lanel with a cheeky smile.
"Shut up, kid," said Mazel.
"There's no reason to fight," said Mie.
"Don't put yourself into this," said Mazel.
"What's her problem?" thought Mie. "I want to say sorry, but that would make her angrier. I wish she could tell me why."
Mie was the first to reach the door, but she didn't know how to open it. It was her first time seeing a door without a handle or needing a pin code.
"Is this a door or a wall?" thought Mie, confused by what she saw in front of her.
She stood there for a few seconds before Tori came in, walking like her normal self, meaning like a robot, and then she asked with a worried face, "Mie, what's the problem?"
Mie kept quiet because she was embarrassed about the door problem.
"What are you two standing there for?" said Rain, who was walking with Lanel.
"It's just... Mie is just standing here, not doing anything or saying anything," said Tori.
"Mie, did Mr. Bad do something to you?" asked Lanel.
Mr. Bad is a cartoon character from *Good Man vs. Dangerous Empires*. It airs on every screen in the Balmoral Empire. It's Lanel's favorite show.
"Yes, Mr. Bad came out of nowhere and did something to Mie without anyone seeing it," said Rain. "Mie, if you don't move, you will see."
"And you'll see prison," thought Mie. "Can someone please open this door?"
Everyone stood there, and no words were heard. Then suddenly, Mazel cut through the silence when she said, "Just open the door. The Dolf Lord can't wait for us. Let's leave the wannabe planner."
Mazel pushed everyone out of the way and then put her middle finger in the middle of the door.
Suddenly, steam came out of the door, and then it slid open. Mazel walked in, followed by Rain and Lanel.
"Stop disrespecting the Planner," said Tori. "Planner, you have to show her that she can't do that to you."
"Thank you!" shouted Mie, and everyone looked at her surprised, even Mazel.
