Cody:Dark dreams,Shit god

Cody wasn't able to open his eyes. He had been lying in the dark for so long, he thought. The place was warm but dark, and Cody kind of liked it.

"I thought I would wake up to so much pain, so I am kind of happy that I am in this place."

He tried to move anything, but his legs were the only things that moved.

"If I can't move, what can I even do?"

Then, after lying there and doing nothing for some time, a sudden light appeared. He felt himself being held by cold hands that pulled him toward the light. The closer he got to the light, the colder and more unwelcoming it felt.

He tried using his legs, but it didn't work. The more the cold hands pulled him toward the light, the more he tried to get away from it. Then he was finally inside the light.

Cody opened his eyes and saw a woman holding him. Cody was first confused but then saw the brown eyes. The moment Cody saw them, he knew who it was.

"Mother," thought Cody.

It was his mother, young-looking with bright eyes that Cody had never seen in her before.

"Mother, it's been so long since I've seen you," thought Cody. He felt like he was going to cry and tried to reach for his mother and touch her face, which he had never done before. Suddenly, Cody felt himself being taken by a rough hand.

"Father, where are you taking him?" shouted his mother.

"I have no daughter who's a whore," said an old man's voice.

"Father, I have told you many times to never dare call her that," said a voice that sounded like Cody's father.

"I just called her what she is, and if you have a problem, fix it," said the old man.

Everyone stood there for a moment, only their eyes locked on each other. Cody's father was enraged, but then he calmed down and wanted to hug Cody's mother, who was in tears. It was silent, and then the old man opened the door. He went out, carrying Cody with him.

He walked down the dark hallway and then found himself in a dark room.

"Grandchild of mine, your father has failed me. He keeps being a disappointment. The only thing he has done that can make me happy is birthing a boy. Now I can have a restart, and this time I will take it and make a great warrior," said the old man and put Cody down on the cold floor. Cody was unable to see anything but darkness. Then the light shone in the room, showing a room full of blood and bodies cut everywhere. Heads, legs, and other body parts lay on top of each other, forming hills of bodies.

Cody's body shook with fear, but inside he loved it. He wished he could have been the one who cut them, but his body was telling a different story.

"Now, child, love the smell of blood and the lust for an injured body, because there is no great warrior who hates the smell of blood or fears injuring a body," said the old man and threw the hall of bodies at Cody.

...

When Cody opened his eyes, he found himself in the dark, where he sat at a long table. At the other side of the table, he saw nothing but darkness.

"Now I finally got to you," said a voice coming from the darkness.

"Who are you?" asked Cody, startled.

"Who I am adds nothing to the deal," said the voice.

"What deal?" asked Cody.

"The one we're going to make," said the voice.

"So, what's the deal?" asked Cody.

"It's for you to return to Indawo embi and enter the castle on the hill," said the voice.

"What if I don't enter the castle on the hill?" asked Cody.

"You know," said the voice.

"Ok, what do I get?" said Cody.

"What do you want?" asked the voice.

Cody sat there for two seconds, then said, "Would you give me anything?"

"Anything," said the voice.

"Tell me, how can you give me anything?" asked Cody.

"Because I am God."

"Ok, I see."

"You don't seem surprised."

"Am I?"

"Yes, it's the first time seeing someone so not surprised."

"Well, this world has given me so many surprises that seeing a god is a downgrade. Well, maybe if I saw you, I would be surprised."

"Well, what a disappointment," said the voice. "Making normal people surprised is why I love being a god, but I can't change your mind, so tell me what you want."

"Take me and Max to Earth."

"Max? Earth? What are those?"

"Aren't you an all-knowing God?"

"No."

"Then why do you call yourself a god?"

"Because I have power."

"...."

"Now then, about that Earth thing you talked about, I can take you to places I never want to."

"Well, you're a shit god," thought Cody.

"So change your wish," said the shit god.

Cody sat there and just looked at the darkness and thought, "What do I want if not to find Earth?.... I could tell it to kill Rex, and there is no way it doesn't know Rex."

Cody kept quiet for a moment.

"No, there's nothing I want," said Cody.

"What!"

"What can I say? I am not a boy with big dreams," said Cody and stood up from the chair and smiled. "So where is the exit?"

"I know you will want something one day, and when that day comes, call out my name."

"No, I won't, but just in case, tell me your name," said Cody and thought, "It won't be a problem if I have a god's backup."

"Well, my name is MIMO," said the shit god.

"Is that really your name?"

"Yes. Can you say it?"

"No, I can say it," said Cody and thought, "I just never thought a god would have a name like that."

"Well, then call me," said the voice.

...

Cody woke up and found himself in a house.

"Where am I? Is this another dream? What were those dreams? Was that my mother, father, and grandfather? Do I even have a grandfather? Was I really talking with a god? Should I call its name to check? No, Cody, what are you even going to say to it? You just wanted to check. Come on," thought Cody and then breathed heavily and recollected his thoughts. He looked at where he was and saw he was in a room with white walls. It looked like it was night, and the cold wind from the open window blew in.

The cold wind felt good on Cody's open injuries. Cody stood up to check if he could still walk, and he could.

"Where am I, and where is Troy?" thought Cody as he went to a door on the other side of the room.

He walked slowly because of the pain from the injuries and opened the door. Then a sudden bright light blinded Cody for a second.

The light coming from the room was from the fire in the fireplace. In the room, there were chairs and a long table. On one of the chairs was Troy, looking at a map with his blank stare.

"Troy!" shouted Cody with joy.

"You idiot, can't you see you're opening your injuries deeper?" said Troy.

"You worry too much," said Cody with a smile while his pain from the injuries grew with each step he took. "Where do we find ourselves?"

"We're in Laylala's home," said Troy.

Cody slowly took a chair close to Troy and slowly sat down. "So does that mean she's back from sending the weapons?"
