A legendary set

Once I completed the finishing touches and the system registered the crafting as complete i look at the 3 items. All three became legendary as i predicted from the increase in gems and i now knew to upgrade the armour sets to legendary i would need more gems. All three seemed very powerful especially if all were used by the same person but even alone they were crazy good.

L Dagger of Life Giving Air:

(Set 1/3) this dagger provides the user swift movements, allowing use of the skill air step.

Set bonus:

1 grants +25 to Dex and Wis

2 grants +50 to Dex and Wis

3 grants +100 to Dex and Wis

L Longsword of Swift Slashes:

(Set 2/3) this longswords slashes extend from the blade, granting an airborne slash that cuts even the strongest of metals with all pieces equipped.

Set bonus:

1 grants +25 to Str and Con

2 grants +50 to Str and Con

3 grants +100 to Str and Con

L Animus Longbow:

(Set 3/3) this bow has the power of life in each shot, when hitting trees or other flora may cause them to become living entities.

Set bonus:

1 grants +25 Int and Cha

2 grants +50 Int and Cha

3 grants +100 Int and Cha

'Wow… three… three legendary weapons that are all one set…? I mean it makes sense because i made them at the same time but wow…' i turned to look at Kleek as i extended the dagger, hilt first towards her.

"Here, a weapon for you as well, in case things get dangerous…"

"I…. I cant accept this gift… this with the armour… its just… too much…" she looked shocked that i would offer so much.

"Its ok, you saved my life already and you said you wanted to come with me so im giving this to you to help keep you safe."

"I…. Thank you…"

Just then the system interupted "new features unlocked.

'Well that solves one if the problems i had…'

"You do want to join me correct?" I asked Kleek to confirm and also officially add her to the party."

"Yes…"

"Be advised new member added to your party… detecting set bonuses of items equipped by both members. Applying bonuses… bonuses have been granted."

"Wow… i… i feel a lot stronger…"

"Indeed, i do as well…" i stared into her yellow eyes as i saw the appreciation in her gaze. She seemed content with everything and also gave a relaxed look as if she knew she was safe around me. I checked my stats again now that the items were equipped and with the extra 100 to each stat i was very happy. I also spent some points to finish leveling out my stats.

All in all the trip to this town was well worth it, i had gained a lot of knowledge and bonuses from it. The only thing left was to begin our trip to a major city so i could finish my quest and maybe learn to wear heavy armour though it seemed she didnt meed it as she had donned the armour and seemed fine.

"Do you have a class Kleek?"

"Yes… i am a battle cleric, im able to wear heavy armour and use support magic to help those around me, though i don't ever really fight myself…"

"Can you teach me to wear heavy armour?"

"Sadly no… im only proficient enough to wear heavy armour, not train others…"

"Thats fine, we can head towards a large city and maybe i can learn there."

I walked up to the black smith as he had finished most of the swords he made and was setting them up on racks inside the shop.

"Excuse me sir, do you know which way to the closest city? Im not from around here and don't know much yet."

"Yeah, its to the northeast, follow the path out of the city north for a few days then when you reach the second crossroad take the path to the east for another day and you will be there. If you want to know its name its Hephime, they have a school there as well that can teach you how to wear armour and other things like magic. Which i presume is what you are looking for given you made heavy armour for you and your lady friend but only she wears her set."

"Indeed. Thank you sir."

"No problem lad, names Greg. If you ever make your way back around here feel free to stop by again, im sure we can work out a deal to let you use the forge again."

"I appreciate that thank you, and in fact because my armour and weapons turned out better than anticipated id like to leave you a gift." I pulled 15 rare hides from my inventory and set them on the counter top.

"Wow! Thats a lot of appreciation, do you know how much rare hides go for? Most cities will give you at least 20 gold each! Thank you, thanks a lot, this will help me improve the shop a lot before you next come back. Providing it takes you a month or more before you come back that is. Is there anything else i might be able to assist you with?"

I pondered for a moment before asking "yeah, are there any dungeons on the way? Or mines perhaps that have been left abandoned and taken over by monsters?"

"Indeed, here let me show you on a map." He pulled out a map and indicated several locations that were not too far off the route we had to head to the main city. In totally there were 4 dungeons we could goto with out much detour, and if we went past our intended path to the east for a day we could reach two additional dungeons.

"Thank you s-i mean greg."

"Ehh, no problem again, thank you for the hides! Hope you don't die!"

I waved my goodbye with Kleek trailing behind me as we began to make our way north along the trail.
