Prince Noir was an illegitimate child of the Emperor of Ray Kingdom. He grew up in a secret sect, learning from a reclusive master until, on his eighteenth birthday, his Emperor father came to pick him up. Noir worked diligently for his big brother the Crown Prince Licht, and his fame as a capable and intelligent prince spread far and wide.

Until, on his twenty first birthday, Noir fell off the imperial viewing tower.

And landed in a bathtub. A bathtub with a very handsome man in it. A handsome man with the face of his reclusive master…!

“Master…!” Noir cried tearfully. “You saved me again…!”

The handsome man pointed a gun at Noir’s head in response.

As soon as Noir opened his eyes, Solis rushed to him. With infinite care, he brushed away the chocolate brown bangs on Noir's forehead and asked in soft whisper, "How are you feeling?"

Noir blinked at Solis, his eyes filled with confusion. "Master…?" he asked with a small frown. "No…Tygr…?"

Solis's heart constricted uncomfortably in his chest. Had Noir forgotten him? What were these missing memories of Noir that Anthem mentioned? Noir already remembered his Master and his previous life – could there be even more mysteries hidden in his background…? Did that mean that Noir would forget about Solis and their time together? Would he forget about their relationship and their promise to each other…?

An unbearable pain radiated from Solis's chest as these thoughts flooded his mind, and started spreading to the rest of his body. Involuntary tears sprang into his grey eyes.
