Prince Noir was an illegitimate child of the Emperor of Ray Kingdom. He grew up in a secret sect, learning from a reclusive master until, on his eighteenth birthday, his Emperor father came to pick him up. Noir worked diligently for his big brother the Crown Prince Licht, and his fame as a capable and intelligent prince spread far and wide.

Until, on his twenty first birthday, Noir fell off the imperial viewing tower.

And landed in a bathtub. A bathtub with a very handsome man in it. A handsome man with the face of his reclusive master…!

“Master…!” Noir cried tearfully. “You saved me again…!”

The handsome man pointed a gun at Noir’s head in response.

It was rather distressing for him to see Noir in such a desperate state, and he couldn't help but curse Tygr in his head for being so insensitive to the boy's psyche. Tygr had raised Noir with his own hands – how could he not realise how sensitive Noir was? Or how determined Noir was to dedicate himself to someone he loved – or that he would sacrifice himself without hesitation when it came to someone he loved…?! Could it be that Tygr was even lower on EQ than Solis himself? And such a man had managed to raise Noir into such a beautiful and cheerful person?! How was that even possible?</p>
