Blaze

1 week earlier

The spider seemed to stumble as it climbed down its web. It had its net in the corner of Mrs. Dillard's kitchen. It hadn't eaten for days and lost its patience. Now it was slowly dangling downwards on it's single thread.

"What the Hell? How do these things keep getting in?" Mrs. Dillard had gotten the broom and used it to get the spider. She opened the back yard door and let the spider go. A loud thunderous sound echoed. Mrs. Dillard nearly fell over, but she managed not to. The sound had come from the East where the trailer park was at. Something landed before her, the momentum was so strong it bounced and hit the wooden fence.

She looked North. Black smoke started rising and she knew something exploded. Probibly a meth lab or something.

She walked to the thing that hit her fence. Probibly just debre. As she got closer, she saw the the thing. It was a red key.

Present day

Spencer nodded when Blaze finished the story. He had gone into more detail about why he might get them killed. It turned out Blaze had been a mother.

"I'm sorry for your loss Mrs. Dillard..I hadn't even started a family." Spencer said.

"With that, you know I'm no good with all this. I've never even touched a video game. Thats why I think I might get us killed." Blaze said.

Spencer took a deep breath. Spencer studied the skeleton. Its head was looking downwards in dissapointment. It was true that a complete newbie would get owned easily, but learning was always a possibility.

"We can still win this. There's a chance." Spencer said.

"Be careful what you say. Most people don't want to surrender to the aliens. They think its a good thing we don't finish whatever this is." The bartender said.

"Why? This bloodshed is fucked up. Who wouldn't want to end it?" Spencer said.

"I'm not sure. My guess is companies, rich people who want political power. Then theres the average people who fear the aliens." He replied as he started up someone's drink.

"I mean, it makes sense..we let people starve and suffer despite having more than enough wealth." Baze's skull turned and looked at Spencer.

"I'm not sure these aliens are good, but they may be our best bet. The only creature that could succesfully rule well would be a God. And those aliens are looking like Gods to me." Blaze said.

Spencer's felt his chest sink at that. He hated communism and politics in general. All he knew was that he wanted to end the fighting. He still couldn't forget the image of the dead vampire from his mind. It replayed over and over again like some broken record.

"Maybe…I know all I want to do is survive and get my life back." Spencer said as he put a hand to his stomach.

"Right." Blaze replied.

Ever since becoming the vampire princess, Spencer noticed something. He had lost his old emotions. He no longer felt the need to prove himself. He now felt attracted to men and almost no attraction to women. In fact, he felt like he needed to defeat other women in looks. This scared Spencer and all he could do was hold onto who he had been before.

"I think we should book a hotel and get some rest." Blaze said.

"They have a hotel down Smith street. You can't miss it." The bartender said.

Blaze thanked him and they stepped out of the champion's bar.

Before they took the first step, they noticed a group of people standing around something. Police cars already began showing up.

"Whats going on over there?" Spencer asked.

They got closer to the crowd and the people stepped aside at the sight of Blaze.

"They say someone killed the Champion and stole her organs." An old man said standing next to Spencer. The corpse was on the road. It looked like a gutted cow from the inside. She was a champion that looked human. She wore an extraordinary black dress.

"Was she defeated? Did they take her key?" Spencer asked.

"I heard the killer stole her organs and left the key. Somebody else grabbed it and became this champion…it was as if she revived. Maybe a clone?" The old man grabbed his white beard.

"I see.." Spencer knew a new user probibly grabbed the key. Probibly carrying the mantle. The same as how he picked up The Vampire Princess mantle.

"But I wonder who'd do such a fucked up thing?" Spencer said.

It made him sick. Would he be next? Were they all just cattle waiting to be gutted?

"Princess? You look even paler than before. Are you ok? You need go eat and drink properly." Blaze said.

Spencer felt like he'd faint. He took a deep breath and let it go.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Let's get that hotel…I'm tired."
