58- Main Force

(Please Read the Authors note)

A few days have passed ever since Mark and the players arrived in Midgard, there are few things that they found, one thing that they found is that the game turned into reality, they have not divided into a server anymore but everyone is scattered around the Midgard.

There is no explanation over this but from what Mark found, Midgard is the real world of 'Alter Online' and the game was just its cover, or maybe it was the works of the primordial gods like how the others believed but Mark knew the extent of the powers of the primordial gods, it was impossible for them to do this.

Even though there were trillions of them, they only occupied so little of it and they are also scattered around based on their guild bases occupied, well this is only for the guilds, for the solo players, they were even by themselves, it was no wonder that Alastor said that it's much better to join a group than being alone.

Well, Mark really doesn't care but one thing he found different this time is that he had a new companion!

"Everyone meet my new companion, Ummm... camera..." Mark introduced his new companion that will follow him awkwardly, well, anyway, what he introduced was a small bat with the cyclops-like eye, it was very small but it is still noticeable.

Yes, Mark can still live stream! he really thought he won't be able to earn money anymore, but yeah, anyway, there have been some changes in his live stream, the limit has been removed, this meant everyone in the universe give him mo- *ahem, everyone in the universe can watch him!

Though the gift function has greatly changed, Mark doesn't receive any unicoins anymore, but he can receive the currency of the Alter Online which will only come out in the 2nd continent.

Mark didn't how they will update the game since it is 'real' now, not a game anymore, Mark also contemplated about the death doesn't exist rule but he found out that, players who died will resurrect 3 days after their death, they will lose all of their items in death and also all of their experience and levels.

That means death may not exist but dying inside exist, anyway, with that, players are now not that reckless for fear of losing everything they worked hard for, speaking of which, 2nd continent was just around the corner, and new players will come.

The problem is guilds can't recruit from the outside, and the players were already speculating that new players will be spawned randomly across the Midgard, well, even though there were many talks, Mark ignored all of them, since it also meant that his deadline is very close.

Mark had collected all of the materials except for the monster heads, he turned his head towards his group, Mark had decided to train a main force group for the laughing shadows, they were the ones in charge of fighting, well, for now.

The group had 5 members, Mark, Chris, Raven the elf, Azi the dark elf, and lastly the beastman player named Amir, these 5 people were the ones Mark had chosen and have trained them for the past few days.

Of course, there are no results for training for a few days but Mark had trained them harsher than when he trained with Chris, today, they were on their way towards the 'dungeon' they found.

Mark and Chris found one when they first came to the plains but that place is dangerous and not a place for training a group, so Mark didn't choose that but he found a good dungeon where he could train his members.

Arriving at their destination a tall extreme mountain that extended up to the clouds, some monsters could be seen flying above the skies, but that is not what Mark and the ground came for, just below this mountain, there could be found an abandoned mine.

But this is no normal abandoned mine as this place has become a dungeon, and not just a specific monster, but there are 3 different monsters that reside inside, Mark turned towards his members with a smile.

"No armor, no shield, just your weapons, if you die then see you at the base again later" Mark instructed with a big amicable smile, give them a warm smile before sending them to their death.

Everyone shuddered as they saw his smile, but they still followed his instructions and took off their armor and shield and gave it to Mark, "Good, now your mission is to kill 10 monsters, show me their loot as the proof, now go" Mark waved them goodbye.

"His smile is so creepy" Chris muttered as she turned her back away.

"Did you say something? should I make it to 20 monsters?"

"No! I said nothing!"Chris and the group immediately entered the dungeon, while Mark waited outside.

Chris and the others entered inside and cautiously moved forward, the mine was very dark, and despite being an abandoned mine, it was fairly open enough for them to move around a lot.

"Everyone be vigilant" Chris commanded.

"Is it that really dangerous?" Raven asked while looking around.

"You don't know Nevermore's personality, that guy is sadistic to the core" Chris replied but she suddenly stopped which made the group stop, they then saw Chris look below them and she was stepping on a pressure plate.

*Click!

A crisp and dangerous sound resounded on their ears that made the hair all over their body stood up, and after that click, series of sounds resounded the whole tunnel.

*Rumble!

The ground shook and there was a sound from behind them, when they turned around, they saw their exit path has been blocked by a wall that was rapidly moving towards them.

"Run!" Azi was the first one to yell and immediately ran away, followed by Amir and the others, they ran forward without seeing anything but the dark in front of them, and just as they were running forward they noticed the silhouette of the dead-end in front of them.

"Sh*t!" Raven cursed as he saw it.

"Over here!"
