Ch.26 Ood Bnar

A/N: I'm sorry about these breaks ya boy be enjoying his bed after work. I'll be dropping a few more chapters today to make up for my lost time. Now back to the Story.

Through the quiet forest Zelon and his group make their way quickly to Ood Bnar's resting area. As they walked Zelon walked next to Echidna.

"Once I begin waking him up everyone needs to keep calm. We don't want to show any kind of hostility, this master is important to my plans."

His head turned to the side-eyeing Echidna's face for a reaction.

Echidna's face stayed poised giving a slight nod-not caring about Zelon at all.

'Sigh!'

Getting such a bland reaction killed the mood. The group continued trekking their way through large amounts of foliage. Along the way Zelon trained his control over nature, moving the plants out of their path.

"I can sense his life energy, we're close."

Everyone picked up their pace until they came upon a clearing with a single tree.

Zelon looked upon Ood Bnar's body examining the flow of the force and his life energy.

"I'll begin waking him up, everyone else stays alert we are still in hostile territory."

The elves nodded their heads looking around watching the trees and foliage for movement.

Zelon walked up to Ood Bnar's body and sat down next to him. "Nature affinity I'm counting on you." He placed his hand upon the bark and began to connect his mind to Ood Bnars.

As his mind tapped into Bnar's conscious his mind appeared in a different area. Zelon looked around, looking at the white walls and robed figures walking around. As he observed the young figures running around in excitement, he sensed a presence watching him.

"Is this the place you have been dreaming about Great Master?"

Zelon turned his head looking down the hall to a tall robed figure watching him calmly.

"During the times of peace, I would walk these halls and instruct the young ones on the intricacies of the force." As Bnar's grizzled voice slowly talked the surrounding area changed to a small room with Ood Bnar and many small kids.

"However; with the resurgence of the Sith, conflict, war, and death became a regular occurrence. Far too many padawans never lived to become Jedi Knights, even the younglings were not safe from Sith invasions."

Once again the room changed to many battlefields, littered with the bodies of both Jedi and Sith alike. Many of the bodies were small kids; their faces filled with anguish and fear.

Zelon's face began to frown as he turned back to the great master.

"I have heard about the atrocities that occurred during 'The Great Sith War'. A time when both the Sith and the Jedi were at their strongest. Now they are mere pieces of what they used to be. An order that has lost the true sight of their code and teachings. An empire decimated so low that their leaders enacted the rule of two, losing the great strength in numbers they once had."

As Zelon talked, the room began to change showing images of the current Jedi and Sith order.

Ood Bnar looked upon these scenes then turned and looked at Zelon.

"What is it that you wish to find from a lost relic of a long-forgotten age? I can sense that you are neither Jedi nor Sith."

Zelon smiled then raised his right hand. Pure life energy began to fill the room. "I am creating an empire and eventually a new force order centered around peace and prosperity with nature. However, to accomplish that goal I need a teacher for me and my men. There is only so much knowledge of the force one can find without joining a certain order."

Ood Bnar's eyes opened up a little getting a better look at Zelon. He could sense that Zelon was a beacon or nexus for the living force itself. The force surrounded Zelon in a warm embrace, like a caring mother. "So you wish to recruit me as a teacher to your order?"

"Correct, I will need many trained force users for the battles that will come in the future. Darkness is moving afoot in the shadows, and their plans will bring about countless problems for the future."

The room changed as a large dark cloaked figure appeared before them. "In the future, one man will almost accomplish what an empire could not, the extermination of the Jedi Order!"

Hearing Zelon's words, Ood Bnar became serious. "The destruction of the Jedi Order is impossible, our Order has stood the test of time many times."

Zelon shook his head with a sad look on his face. He remembered the events of Order 66 and the terrible killing of countless Jedi.

"The force is always trying to get back to a balanced state. Over these lasts 1000 years of peace, the light side has been ever dominant. Now a shift will occur turning the scales on their axis. I need your help to prevent the death of countless lives, the destruction of many worlds, and the enslavement of innocent people."

Ood Bnar looked upon Zelon, not sensing any lies from his words. If Zelon's words rang true then, not only the Jedi Order, but the universe is in danger.

Zelon sat and began meditating, waiting for Bnar's answer, not trying to rush him for a response.

Thirty minutes later, he felt a gentle wave of force wash over him. He opened his eyes, seeing Ood Bnar looking at him with a resolved mind.

"The force is telling me that I should follow you, however; I must ask what drives you to fight such a cause?"

Zelon smiled and stood up. "Because I am going to be the greatest Park Ranger in the Universe!"

Ood Bnar's face became plastered with confusion. "Park Ranger? I do not understand, what is the significance of this title?"

"It means, I will become the greatest protector of nature." With Zelon's proclamation the living force dance around him in glee happy with his decision

Ood Bnar began laughing, intrigued by this strange child before him. "Very well young one I'll help you but first you must help me awake from my slumber."

Zelon gave him a thumbs up. "That shouldn't be too hard give me a moment."

Outside Zelon's body began to release large amounts of pure life energy, concentrating that energy into Ood Bnar's body and mind. Many injuries and decayed bark began to fall off with healthy new bark growing visibly under them.

In no time Ood Bnar's tree form changed from an old decayed looking tree to a tall healthy tree.

Once Zelon sensed no more problems with his body, he sent a jolt to Bnar's mind waking his consciousness from its slumber.

The tree began to morph, quickly shrinking in size growing a pair of arms and legs. The from the top emerged a head. Robes began to form around Bnar's body before he opened his eyes.

"It's good to be awake once again."
