Ch.27 Full Annexation

Ood Bnar stretched getting reacquainted with his body and moving around again. He spread his force sense around the planet and began sensing the changes of thousands of years.

"Ossus is damaged from the Cron Cluster explosion, however, I can feel a constant stream of pure energy repairing the damaged sections. How did you?"

Before he could finish his sentence an enormous presence appeared in his senses. Like wiping fog off the mirror, Ood Bnar began to sense Horus's presence and the enormous amount of energy he wielded.

"Wha-what is that? The power it possesses is something I've never sensed in my life."

Zelon walked in front of Ood Bnar and pulled a hearthtree seed from within himself. "The entity you sense is called a Hearthtree, it is an ancient magical tree of a race called elves." Zelon pointed to the pointed eared friends behind him.

"This tree is part of my power, I can create these trees to create elves and dwarfs. Ood Bnar observed the Silvan elves behind Zelon, sensing the force sensitivity within them and a small connection to the living force.

"The big tree your sensing now is called Horus, a Holy Hearthtree. It is the combination of multiple seeds and a large amount of pure life energy. Horus show yourself for a moment, please!"

In an instant, a figure appeared from the ground directly behind Zelon. "You called my master?"

The moment the figure appeared in front of Ood Bnar, he felt as if he stood before the force itself. Such a large amount of Pure energy in such a concentration is unheard of for any Jedi Master or Sith Lord in any era.

"Horus this is Jedi Master Ood Bnar, he will be joining us in teaching our people how to utilize the Force."

Horus with a wicked smile bowed to Ood Bnar. "It is wonderful to meet you, old master, I am Horus."

As Ood Bnar looked upon Horus, he was intrigued, amazed, and baffled by the amount of energy within Horus.

"Master Bnar I and my people found the ruins of the Jedi Temple, we are now beginning the restoration process to utilize it."

Master Bnar was surprised the destruction brought about by the explosion was devastating. "If that is the case I can begin teaching your people whenever you are ready."

Zelon nodded. "Hmm? It will take a while we are still trying to subjugate the local populace. The Ysanna are the descendants of the Jedi that survived the destruction. They have become a primitive group of people, probably from the loss of knowledge from the destruction and isolation from the central galaxy."

Hearing Zelon talks about subjugating a race, worsened Master Bnar's mood. Sensing the change Zelon waves his hand.

"It's not what your thinking Master Bnar, I have ordered my people to not kill the Ysanna but apprehend them. I wish to convert them into the first backbone of my empire."

Master Bnar nodded his head. "I understand young one with the local inhabitants working under you, you can begin working on the foundations of your future empire."

Zelon smiled. "Your right master, there can not be an empire without the civilians, territory, military presence, and economic backing. I have the military and am currently working on getting the territory. Once I have civilians, I can begin making economic growth."

As they talked they began making their way to the Academy.

Over with Elrond the battles against the Ysanna have gone well with the inclusion of Revion and Gadrons armies.

Inside the command tent Elrond, Revion, and Gadron discussed strategy on how to end the fights quickly. "Lord Elrond, I believe if we surround them in a three-way pincer and apply some pressure they will listen to our demands. We will also need the support of the fighter craft to show our superior might."

Elrond looked at the holographic map observing the area around the Ysanna main camp. "Your idea is usable however I believe we can add a few additions to it." Elrond smiled as he looked at the other 2 confidently.

"I have word from the druids, within a few days the first batch of treants will be created. We can include them to intimidate the Ysanna into surrendering. Our Lord doesn't wish to cause deaths, so we must show them that they have no chance of winning."

Gadron and Revion nodded their heads, the plan sounded feasible to them.

"Very well then with the plan in agreement, begin readying your men for battle. In a few days, we will surround them with all our strength."

The plan was set, now the pieces would need to be moved in place to finish up these skirmishes quickly.

A few days go by as the army rests and recuperates from the other battles. During this time with the request from Elrond, a few thousand more druids were created.

The strategic value of the treants was high without other forms of armor and weaponry. Outside the camp stood 15 treats of various sizes and orientations. 5 of the treants, however, look starkly different from the rest.

These treants were raised from the decayed trees now called Findus Trees. Their bodies were a darker shade than the others making them stand out. However, their bark was a bit different instead of the woody surface look they resembled metallic surfaces.

Gadron had one of the elf archers shoot their laser now at the treants to see the defense of the bark. When the laser impacted the bark, it was as if metal scraped against another piece of metal. Not even a dent was made into the bark, giving everyone a lot of confidence in their new friends.

Elrond overlooked the massive army standing before him. "I believe everything is in place, begin moving everyone into positions. Have some of the Winged Elves begin scouting the Ysanna camp from above."

100 Winged elves received their orders flying quickly into the air. They flew up high enough to be covered by the clouds and still be able to spot every move the Ysanna make.

The army began marching towards the camp in three different groups. Each group brought 5 treants with them to lock their side down.

Thirty minutes later the camp began to come within their sights. Elrond stopped his army on the outskirts of the camp hidden within the trees. "Report?!"

One of the elves walked up and saluted him. "The winged elves have scouted their entire guard patrol routes and locations."

The elf opened a holographic map and began jotting down every piece of information they obtained.

"The Winged elves did wonderful, tell them to continue monitoring." Elrond then observed the map quietly. He noticed that many of the patrol routes were mostly around the outer areas of the camp.

"Relay orders to the force trained Dark Elves to begin removing the guards from play. No killing is allowed that's an order!" Elrond looked at the elf sternly, getting his message across seriously.

The dark elves received their orders and began stealthily moving to the camp slowly knocking out the guards. Once the report of the guards being taken down was received Elrond sent down the order to advance upon the camp for the three armies.

The elves charged for the camp, filling the gates before anyone could react. The Ysanna noticed the intruders and began panicking. "Enemy attack, the outsiders are attacking!!"

The Ysanna began to gather in force standing opposite to the elf legion standing before them. As everyone gathered together, they began to notice that they were surrounded.

The Force-sensitive Ysanna walked to the front, standing as beacons for their people. However, mentally they knew the situation was not favorable. "Chief we are outnumbered and I know we all can sense those things coming our way." Outside the camp walls, heavy footsteps shook the ground. The giant figures of the treants came stepping over the walls. When the treants came into view the Ysanna exclaimed in fear. "What the hell are those things?!"

Groups of Winged elves and fighter craft began to fill the sky. At this moment the Ysanna knew for a fact, they could not win this battle. The Ysanna chief understanding the situation walked towards the elves. "I wish to speak with your leader!"

Everyone was surprised watching the lone man walk towards their forces. The elves looked at one another, then began making a path forward.

Elrond appeared in all his splendor walking forward to meet the Ysanna chief. They stood before each other with a big amount of distance between each other. "My lord wishes not to harm the Ysannian people. Your people are important to his plans for peace within the universe, causing more deaths will not solve any problems."

The Ysannan chief was surprised, he believed these intruders were warmongers, ready to slaughter their people. "What is it that your leader wants with us, we have nothing of value to give.?"

Elrond sighed. "Lord Zelon wishes to create a great empire that will bring about peace and prosperity in the universe. Your people will be the first citizens of his dominion, beginning the start of a mighty empire."

The chieftain nodded at Elrond's words. "Give me a moment to discuss with my people."

Elrond nodded his head watching as the chieftain returned to the others. "The invaders wish for us to surrender peacefully to their rule. We will become citizens of a newly forming empire that will focus on peace and prosperity around the universe. How much of his words ring true I do not know, but it stands that we have no way to win this battle without major sacrifices."

Everyone looked down to the ground frustrated, they had lost without even throwing a single punch. "We must surrender for the continuation of our people. The chief pounded his right arm on his chest hard. The Ysannans will not perish this day, live on to see a better future!!" The morale of the Ysanna people began to lift as they came together once more.

The chieftain turned and walked back to Elrond. "Have your people come to a decision?"

The chief nodded his head, he put his left hand in the air with a closed fist. This bizarre movement alerted the elves who drew their bows ready to strike the Ysannans down.

The chieftain looked Elrond in the eyes not breaking eye contact for a second.

"Drop your weapons!!" The Ysannan chief screamed out loud for everyone to hear. With a sad and heavy heart, the Ysannans slowly dropped their weapons.

Seeing that the Ysannans surrendered, the tense atmosphere began to calm. "You have made a decision that your people will not regret." A large smile was plastered over Elrond's face as he extended his hand for a shake.

The chieftain seeing this gesture came in for the handshake sealing the deal. "I hope so."
