chapter eight.

JASON'S POV.

After the first double date we had at Leo's Gwen and I have been talking to each other on the phone alot like every other day which made me wonder if this is how fake dating works or are we actually becoming friends .I don't want to go in details about what we talk about but is alot of personal issues ,funny ,crazy and insane personal issues.She said she is making me her human diary and I said as long as she pays me for this role am alright.

I asked Jesca what this means if it ever popped up in her fake dating experience but she just told me to stop over analyzing everything and just enjoy the relationship as it last ,which could just mean that she has no knowledge of such a scenario.

It has been nice to get back in good terms with Jesca and Adonis cause I am back at hanging out with them in her room ,where there has never been a boring moment in my life when I am with them.

"so how are all the double dates been going ?" asks Jesca.We had been going to much double dates oftenly since the first one which I told her all about it for the other ones I didn't tell her because there were no really much to tell . It's always been something like movies or dinner .

"they have been fine ,very nice ". I reply knowing she wants a more detailed answer . Expectedly she rolls her eyes at the reply,Adonis laughes out loud also aware that what I said was not a sufficient reply to her.

"yo Jay why don't you give more details to Jess she is dying to know" he says

"exactly ,tell him !" she exclaims glad that he understands her crave for some date drama..

"I seriously can't tell about the other dates but today we are going to Gwen's house for a double date".

"oh ma gosh ! you are going to have a revenge dinner date! " ,yah this has her attention.

"yah ,it could be the last regular double date since my holiday is almost over so I'll be going back to work and Leo and Rachel got some part time jobs now".

"If it's going to be your last date you have to make it memorable" says Jesca.

"wait what do you mean memorable? I thought this whole relationship was fake ,right? hey Jay you need to just keep things simple, I am starting to see like you are blurring the line between what's real and what's fake" says Adonis ,Jesca stares at him like he just spoke a foreign language.

"what do you mean Adonis? the last date has to be the best! that's just how it's supposed to be"., she seemed kind of annoyed .

"Jes all I am trying to say is Jason is not really in love with this girl so I think soon this relationship should end ,he should nt really invest alot in a fake relationship don't make him too much emotional attached ".

I kind of think that Adonis is right on what he said. I mean till when am I supposed to act like I love Gwen? I know ,this relationship was not made with a timeline but nothing lasts forever so I should not get carried away with all this dating experience and forget that there is no real love to begin with.

"ok whatever "responds Jesca ,I guess she really didn't want to continue with the discussion so nobody does .

"ok guys time to watch the best movie ever , Jay you go get the popcorn " says Adonis and just like that we are watching a movie like the bestest of family maybe we are.

The time for probably the last double date ever eventually arrived and so I went over to Gwen's .Iam aware that Leo and Rachel got no car but I can't go all the way to there just to give them a lift so they have to struggle on there own. Who am kidding they can just take a taxi and make it safe and sound so why the heck am I feeling worried on this?(paranoid laughter).

I end up being the first to arrive ,I knock on her door then iwalk right in because she doesn't come over to open.She was in the kitchen , wearing sweatpants and a t-shirt. I have never seen her wearing sweatpants on every date we had she looks all glamorous and stuff so this is something new.

"hey girlfriend cooking dinner ?" I ask with a smirk because Gwen doesn't cook so she just ordered the food from some place.

"don't mock me" she says and comes over to kiss me on my cheek.

"be a good boyfriend and help me unpack the food and set the table" she says and I look at the food that she was in the process of unpacking.

After we just done with setting the table there is a knock on the door ,so I go open it .

"hey Leo and Rachel".I say while opening the door for them to walk right . Rachel being Rachel is wearing a long floral gown mixed colours while Leo being Leo is just like me on the t-shirt and jeans his t-shirt was black and had a print of a fading rose ,Rachel wore brown simples and had no jewelry while Leo had black boots and he had a silver ring on his left pinkie finger.

"hey Jason "they both reply and walk right inside .We go to the dinning table and Gwen comes out from the kitchen to join us she is holding a wine bottle .

"hey everybody , tonight we got something very special for our very special date" she says while showing the bottle that looks very expensive.

"oh thank you"says Leo, I know he has a thing for expensive drinks like wines.

Soon we are all digging in to our dinner we all drank the wine but Leo had servings every now and then which makes Rachel shoot daggers at him with her eyes . It's either he doesn't notice or he is just ignoring that aside from that we were all having a great time.

"So Jason my friemd how are things going?" Leo asks suddenly out of the blue .I am starting bto think he is abit drunk but I can't be sure ,Leo has never been easy to notice when he is drunk.

"fine?"I answer more like a question because Iam unsure of what things he is asking about.

"how is your relationship ? facing any trouble in paradise or things are still smooth sailing?"

"our relationship is fine ". I reply wondering where is this going to .

"is it? Gwen is he saying the truth?"he asks having shifted his gaze to her.

"yes he is saying the truth" she replies with a smile.

"then when are you MOVING IN TOGETHER?".We all laugh at this even Rachel, there is something in the way he said it that was funny.So this is what it was all about ? moving in?

Jason and I are to move in soon by the way.We already talked about it".

Now this was a suprise ,moving in soon?,and when the hell did we talk about it ?

"Good if you are moving in that's good .But why didn't you tell us the good news let us celebrate" Leo says raising a glassfor a toast Rachel and Gwen did the same.

"why Jason is suddenly quiet ?" asks Rachel as if I have been talking the whole night .

"well is just we have been wanting to move in together but we have not yet found a place" responds Gwen ,okay who the hell said I was thinking of that ?and where the hell did she get this moving in idea .

"needing a place ? we can help you find a place " says Leo.

"wow ,thank you that will be kind of you". replies Gwen.

"beautiful Gwen mind showing me where your your washroom is at ?"asks Leo , she started directing him but he interupted saying he wanted her to show him not tell him so she stands up to go show him .

After a brief moment they both came back.

"why did you wait for him ?"I ask

"because what if I got lost on my way back?" Leo asks to which I laugh not knowing if he was serious or joking .

"are we going to watch a movie today or what ?" asks Rachel while looking at Gwen intensively.
