The only Way To Have A Child From King Louis

"Wow..."

One word that came out of Helena's little mouth when she entered for the first time into the King's room.

"Empress Helena, is there anything else you need?" asked the guard who had just escorted Helena. He was bowing respectfully in front of Helena.

"Nothing, but... where is King Louis?" Helena asked.

"King Louis is still out, attending an important meeting. King Louis may miss dinner at the Palace." Obviously the guard.

"Important meeting?" Helena suddenly remembered the story that Harika had told. But she couldn't remember clearly, and at that moment suddenly the bedroom door opened wide, with Rima - the butler who had just arrived.

"Can you leave us? I have to prepare for a night of mourning with Empress Helena." Rima asked firmly, and the guard nodded in agreement and left the two of them in King Louis' room.

"Ri... Rima? What's wrong?" asked Helena, who became awkward. The woman approached Helena closely.

The first thing Rima did was raise Helena's chin immediately, then straighten both of Helena's shoulders so that her chest could puff out a little.

"Empress Helena, is Harika still not teaching you a lesson?" Rima asked with sharp eyes directed at Helena.

"What? Harika helped me a lot, in fact so much that I had to..."

Rima narrowed her eyes in disliking when Helena chatted too much.

"Empress Helena, enough!"

Helena's lips pressed together immediately, "Did I do something wrong, Rima?" she asked with confusion.

"Empress Helena, even though I'm older than me. But you have to keep your face up, and your tone of voice must be firm. Don't lower yourself, especially in front of a maid like me." Rima said, and Helena immediately did what Rima meant.

"Eee... is it like this?" asked Helena, and she puffed out her chest immediately.

"Oh... the gods," Rima replied while patting her forehead and shaking her head.

"Did I make another mistake, Rima?"Helena asked innocently, and she saw Rima take a deep breath.

"Empress Helena, this mourning night is very important to you. And for the Country of Aarez, you must win King Louis' heart immediately." Rima pulled a chair towards Helena.

"Have a seat, Empress. For it would be inappropriate for me to stand on your equal footing."

Helena complied and sat down immediately, although she still didn't understand what Rima wanted to do. Her face looked even more restless when Helena had sat down.

"I don't have much time to explain to you. So far, I have been very close to Queen Revania. At least I know how the nature of King Louis is." Rima explained and stood in front of Helena, who was still listening seriously.

"I'm sure the Empress will learn faster, and please make the most of this night of mourning for a week. You must use it tonight to make a baby with King Louis." Rima explained.

"What makes a baby? But... I... don't you know how he treated my first night... And..." Helena wanted to protest again, but Rima's face had changed quickly.

"Okay, I'll listen to it."

"Empress Helena, I meant what I just said. You must have a child from the King." Rima continued with sparkling eyes.

"Empress Helena. As you know. The only woman that King Louis loved most was Queen Revania, even until death does them part. The King still looks sad." Rima explained.

It seemed that she was also sad when she told about Revania.

"After the departure of Queen Revania, it is clear that the position of the Queen is now vacant. And this will be used by the other Queen Consorts because the King must determine who the successor of Queen Aarez will be." Rima took something out from under her folded clothes, a small plastic with a clear color.

Inside the plastic was a white powder, which Helena herself didn't know what it was.

"The only way for you to have a child from King Louis." Rima's hand seemed to tremble when she tightly gripped the plastic wrap.

"It will be difficult if you have to wait for King Louis to decide. His love for Queen Revania is too strong. Even though you are young, between the other two empresses but I'm not sure you can have the charismatic commensurate with Queen Dilara or Emira." Rima continued to explain as she walked over to Helena.

"Here... you can use this," Rima handed the plastic wrap to Helena. She placed it in Helena's hand with a worried and frightened look on his face.

"What... is this Rima?" Helena asked honestly, and she got a bad feeling when she saw Rima's doubtful face.

"This is the only way that you and King Louis can sleep together."

"This medicine will make the King unable to contain his desire..."

"Empress Helena, I know this is the wrong way. But... we have no other way, and ... this is all for the safety of the Aarez Country, don't waste the efforts of Queen Revania who left us first." Rima said with tears in her eyes, and soon the tears flowed down her cheeks.

"What... Huh..?" Helena held her mouth because she understood what Rima had given her.

***

Evening, in the King's room,

Helena was seen walking aimlessly. She was restless at that time because the night that came signaled the King would return to his room.

Helena was already wearing a white mourning dress, with a gold ribbon wrapped around her waist.

Her long blonde hair was tied, in a half ponytail with long silver hairpins.

Helena's makeup was also simple, but the sweet impression on her youthful face was still evident.

By asking the royal servants for help, Helena had already prepared dinner, in the king's room.

A round table that has been neatly decorated, like a couple's dinner.

But Helena had not put anything in her food or drink. The white powder was still safe in her hand. And somehow, deep in her heart, Helena didn't want to use this method.

Helena walked to the large window in the king's room. So big there is a long chair that is wide and can be used for her to sit with his legs stretched out, or maybe lie down.

"Queen Revania, what should I do. I'm not even twenty years old yet, but my burden is like that of a fifty-year-old woman." Helena complained, looking up at the night sky and sat on the chair under the window.

"I don't dare to do this. How can I be his wife, but I use this drug to make him want... Ahhh... Helena, what are you thinking." Suddenly all the hairs on Helena's neck stood up, and she quickly shook her head.

The voice of the guards guarding the bedroom door called for King Louis' presence, and soon the bedroom door swung wide open.

Helena immediately got up from her seat. She walked quickly to get to the front door.

"Good evening King Louis, my regards and respect for all the good in this land." Helena gave greetings and prayers for her husband.
