Helena: Am I safe this time?

Helena put on the most regretful face she could give King Aarez. After awakening from her deep sleep, she thought that the madness she was experiencing was a dream.

Helena was still in bed with her hair messy, behaving strangely by showing a big smile. She knows that Louis had been watching her for a long time. Her sitting position was too upright, and her behavior was silly at that time.

Her demeanor is far different from King Aarez, who looks calmer even though his gaze is still scary to Helena. Louis took a deep breath, making Helena sure that she was in big trouble.

"I'm sorry, Your Highness," said Helena, who had gathered the courage to speak.

"I meant ... I didn't realize that..."

Helena looked nervous as she spoke. She couldn't put the words together properly, make Louis squint his eyes even more.

"I'll give you fifteen minutes to clean yourself up. The maids have clothes ready for you, so hurry up, Empress Helena," Louis commanded. He cut Helena's words which were still half-open.

Louis didn't need to wait for Helena's answer. The man had quickly turned around.

There is a long work desk, which is in the corner of the room. And Louis has been busy staring at the monitor screen.

"Am I safe this time?" muttered Helena as she lowered her legs, walked carefully. She sees the clothes have been prepared for her.

"Come on, Helena! Hurry up and take a shower, and change clothes. Remember, not to do anything else." Helena thought as she rushed to the bathroom, which was in the room.

Helena brought her new clothes to the bathroom. And as it turned out, the maids had prepared the makeup kits placed on the side of the sink.

Helena couldn't even calm down. She tries to shower as calmly as possible without wanting to make a fuss that might make King Louis' anger explode again.

"Luckily, I didn't miss the makeup class with Harika." Said Helena, who ponytailed her hair, but strangely Helena looked cute with the pink ribbon she pinned on her long blonde hair.

Helena is still wearing a white dress, the day of mourning is not over yet. She was given a slightly different model of clothing. A long dress, with many thin strands of silk behind it.

Helena, who was quicker to clean herself, made Louis a little surprised.

King Aarez just tilted his head as his gaze shifted from the monitor screen to Helena, who was already standing in front of him.

"Hmm...?" Louis frowned, looking at Helena's makeup which looked… just normal. But that youngest empress looks different.

Helena met the eyes of King Aarez's eyes, either out of nervousness, fear, or perhaps panic. Helena quickly averted her gaze. She strangely rolled her eyes.

"What are you looking at?" asked Louis, who took a look around him.

"Mmm…nothing, Your Highness. Have you had breakfast?" asked Helena, who immediately looked for another topic of conversation.

"Didn't you look over there? The waiter has already prepared breakfast for both of us." Louis's pair of eyes fell on the table in the middle, was surrounded by long sofas facing each other.

"Ah… so we eat in this room, is that polite?" asked Helena, who was confused. She tried to remember the rules of the kingdom that she learned together with Harika.

"Polite? Now I'll turn the question over to you, do you know, Empress Helena? If you can't force a King Aarez to sleep with you?" asked Louis, and he was already up from his seat.

Glek .., Again Helena swallowed her own saliva when Louis's footsteps continued to approach her.

"I should have known. There's no way King Louis would forgive me last night." Helena thought as she clasped her own hands together so she could cover her anxiety at that moment.

"I'm sure you must have known, Empress Helena." Louis kept getting closer. He stopped when the distance between the two was very close.

"There will be punishment if you do this to me."

In his mind, Louis just realized that Helena looks like Revania at a glance. Even though she was still very young, her height was already equal to that of the other two empresses.

Her beautiful blonde hair reminded her of Revania's figure, and at that moment, there was a feeling of tightness that made Louis uncomfortable.

Helena was silent. She was thinking about the best answer she could give to the King.

"If I tell him? If I don't put the medicine down. Will he believe it? What if he asks who the real culprit is? What should I say? He'll know I'm lying." Helena's mind was confused.

"I… I…"

Helena racked her brain to think hard.

While Louis was getting closer to Helena's face, he watched Helena, who was getting more nervous.

The vile gaze that wanted to pounce on Helena, Louis continued to show. How could Helena think to find the right reason?

At that moment, there was a knock on the door. And followed by the voice of the guard, who spoke loudly from behind the bedroom door.

"Come in!" answered Louis, who had not yet taken his eyes off Helena's face.

"Hoho… King Aarez, how are you today?" A man in a neat suit just walked in with a loud voice. From his point of view, it seems that Louis seems to be teasing Helena.

"Wow… it's still very early. Are you not holding back anymore?" He said with a wide grin.

Helena didn't know who the man who looked like Louis's age was, but he was crazy enough to be too bold to act like that to the ruler of King Aarez.

"You want to die, don't you?" threatened Louis, and he was already straightening his body with his arms crossed right in front of him. But strangely, the man didn't seem to care. He just stared at Helena, who looked awkward.

"Good morning, Empress Helena. Did you sleep well last night? Did this wolf misbehave with you? Wow, I didn't expect the rumors to be true. You look so young." Praise the man with sparkling eyes, seeing Helena for the first time.

Louis immediately stepped forward, blocking the man who seemed to want to approach Helena.

"Andrian! If you dare to come closer, I can order someone to cut off your head," said Louis, who gave another threat.

"Hahaha..." the man's laughter immediately escaped, and he quickly shook his head.

"I didn't think that Revania didn't choose the wrong partner for her. Just see how you want to protect her."

Andrian approached Louis' ear as he whispered something only the king could hear.

"Seeing it makes me remember young Revania. They both look similar. Did you know it was Louis?" He said with a sly grin.
