The warm rays of the sun fell on the sleeping figure lying on the bed. Lillian's eyes slowly fluttered open and she let out a loud yawn. Her gaze fell on an unfamiliar ceiling which was plated with silver and white stripes.

Oh right, I'm not at home, she sadly realized. She dragged herself up, still feeling very lethargic. The clock on her stand read 6 AM. She would have to go to work soon.

Getting off the bed, she glanced at the couch where a certain demon was supposed to be sleeping. To her surprise, he was not there. She let out a breath of relief. After the awkwardness last night, she wanted to avoid him as much as possible.
