Thank you

I got changed and not was word was said from Jayden through the whole ride until I just couldn't take the tension and asked him 'Ok we have been driving for thirty minutes Jayden where are we going its going to get dark soon, its already six,' 'Just wait,' and so I waited until I ended up boarding a train with him. I was so anxious so I asked again 'Jayden where are we going,' 'Just wait,' and he took out Chinese food from his bag and I laughed 'Chinese food ?' 'They saw to always travel with Chinese food,' 'Really,' 'Of course not, eat'. The whole view was beautiful 'Do you know what'll make this better,' I asked him thinking about ice cream and he got a container of ice cream out of his bag 'This,' and so I couldn't stop smiling. The clock stroke seven and we got out of the train and he took me a few blocks away from the station to what seemed like a club and he smiled at the guy in the entrance as he opened the door for us. I was entirely lost at that point without a word Jayden dragged me behind him through what seemed as a backstage and we entered a huge hall. It was a concert, he made us way through the dancing crowd to the middle of the front view. The song was so loud that I had to yell to make him hear 'Wow this is crazy,' and he tiled his head and I started to jump up and down and dance with the bands beat thumping in my veins to relieve all my pressure. I couldn't help but dance along, I noticed Jayden just standing and smiling at me so I took his hands and made him dance a little 'Why are so up tight, dance with me please,' and so as always my pleading worked we danced, we kissed and we had fun. When the concert was over we left from the same backstage door we entered and as I was so hyped up I couldn't stop dancing even though I was out of breathe as we made our way through the hustling crowd to the main road. 'You seemed have had fun,' 'I did,' 'but how did you get us in there,' I said as I skipped along 'My dad knows the owner of the whole building.' We stopped at the one side bridge where the lake stretched from one side and the city on the other.

People were sitting down near the bench that was set to look at the view as a small open air stadium. We turned to look at the marvelous view me swinging on and off the the railing of the bridge 'Where are we,' I asked is not knowing the place still 'Guess,' 'Washington,' he shook no 'New York,' he shook no 'Santa Barbara,' he shook a no again so I decided to say all the cities ' Stockton, Reno, San Jose, Oakland' 'Wait, don't tell me all the cities now,' 'Oh tell me then,' 'It's actually two cities away,' I smiled 'So two cities away from San Francisco, Los Angeles,' 'Yeah,' 'But why does it seem so quiet,' 'Cuz well the time is fifteen minutes past ten,' he said looking at his watch. We both observed the view silently until a I asked Jayden a question that always had bothered me, I turned to him 'Do you remember the time you stayed at café with me after I helped your mom unpack stuff when we first met,' 'Yeah,' he replied turning towards me 'Why didn't you asked,' I asked hoping he knew that I meant my scars in my wrist 'What ?,' 'The scars,' and he looked away 'Did you want me to ?,' 'I mean I was surprised, anyone who did see it though always asked me,' 'What did you say to them,' 'My dog scratched me,' 'So if I ask you now would you say the same thing,' with that he turned to me so we meet each others eyes 'If you asked me when you saw at first I would have definitely lied, but now...,' I stopped mid sentence 'But now are you ready to tell me the truth,' I nodded agreeing with him 'Well actually I really do appreciate that you didn't force this out of me but I know it's not fair for you also because I kept you in the dark when it came to family,' I looked at the lake and continued 'My mom left me when I was three to my dad and my grandma she was the one who taught me to pray and well everything else, so after she left my dad felt in to depression and started to drink but he did work and the my mom came back after four years so when I was seven and got pregnant and so Leo came and after about a month or two she left and my grandma died the same year leaving me to take care of a baby because my dad again felt back into his old habitats and started to do drugs,' I took a deep breath I've never ever told a soul about my past and it was hard to do so, Jayden took my hand and smiled at me as I turned to him again 'Yeah mmm, so then she came back again after six years when I was thirteen and then again got herself hooked up with my dad and ended up having Emma I thought she might stay this time but even without a second thought she left. My dad felt so deep into the rabbit hole this time he never came back, he goes drinking all day and night so that's why I work my ass off I need to pay rent the bills and medical bills. You know I never remember the last time I had fun like this,' 'Then what about the scars,' 'Anxiety, really bad panic attacks and well I get beaten up by my dad cuz she thinks I'm mom when he's drunk so he releases everything on me,' I spoke so quietly 'Can I see,' Jayden asked and slowly rolled up the sleeve of my white turtle neck and traced his fingers over it that my whole body shivered and the he looked into my eyes and asked 'I'm sorry, but can you promise me something, from now on when you have the urge to hurt yourself and if your dad dare tries to beat you can you call me first,' I felt like a huge weight on my bad lifted away I couldn't be more grateful for Jayden in my life for sharing such a big burden that broke me. I whispered back to him 'I promise,' and he hugged me I felt the wall that I had put in-between me and others broken by him and most of all I never felt safer.

The sky seemed to be more bright as the dark clouds that blocked the moon light parted 'Here so don't you feel that my dad would hate if you get involved,' I said to him 'I don't care no one can lay a finger on my girl,' and he pushed back a piece of my hair as I smiled. I looked at the lake and suddenly remembered something 'Jayden, why did you stop swimming ?,' he raised his brow 'Aaron told you were in the squad,' he nodded his head smiling and looked at lake 'You know Stella swimming was actually the world to me, I was good at and it made me feel happy but after my football injury I remember getting into the water and kicking but I couldn't swim, my shoulder was really bad and I was so desperate to swim I tried and tried and then my shoulder got worse and so I had to quit and ever since then I've never got into a pool,' 'That's depressing,' I said trying to lighten up the mood. Then I got a great idea and I started to run down the bridge towards the lake and I heard Jayden call behind me 'Stella were are you going, wait,' and as I reached the the shore I stopped and faced Jayden as he caught up 'Let's go for a swim,' 'What,' 'Yeah come on,' 'But the water is so cold at this time Stella and I don't have a swim suit 'Neither do I,' and I started to strip myself to my underwear and Jayden just stood there staring at me 'Have you seen enough, come,' I joked and ran into the water and as Jayden stripped into his boxers he followed me in. The water was so cold and the moon's reflection shining on the water I splashed water around and we had fun. 'It so cold in here,' I said as it got quite cold and swam closer to Jayden 'I did tell you didn't I,' he said and grabbed onto my waist and pulled me so close that our faces were on few inches apart, though I've always got this feeling when I am around Jayden and really bad butterflies but I never got enough for it. I started blushing 'I never taught you were this shy,' he asked 'I'm not I just have really bad butterflies,' 'And I'm glad to here that,' Jayden pulled me so close that I felt his breath on my neck and then he kissed my lips. We go out of the water and dried ourselves and got dressed and when to the train station the latest ticket was at one in the morning to San Francisco so we had to wait over and hour. I sat on the bench as Jayden stood in from of me checking the time slots 'Jayden,' I called and motioned him to come to me and so he came and stood in front of me I leaned on him and he touched my hair and said 'Your hair is still wet, lets go and get a towel,' 'No just stand here still,' 'But you'll get sick,' 'No I won't I always bathe in the night,' I looked up at him 'How did you know that I wanted to go to a concert in Los Angeles,' he smiled and said 'You left your notebook in my jeep a few days back,' 'And you didn't tell me I was panicking cuz I have notes in there and I searching for that everywhere,' 'Well you can cut that off your list,' 'You snooped in other peoples belongings,' 'No I snooped in my girlfriends belongings,' 'I never thought you were this cheesy,' I said half laughing 'We are done here,' and he playfully moved away from me. We got back to the city and Jayden stopped in front of my house and gave me back my note book 'Is your dad home by now ?,' 'Yeah he should be,' 'Are you gonna be okay I can come with you inside,' 'No its fine, he probably is sleeping It's almost four,' I said checking my water proof wrist watch 'Thank you Jayden, I'm serious thank you for everything I really don't know how to thank you really for stepping into my life,' 'Just keep your promise and be with me forever,' I smiled and kissed him and got out of the vehicle and went inside and saw my dad sleeping in his room. I went to my room and looked down from my window as I switch on the light and saw that Jayden had gotten out of the car and was looking up at my window. I waved at him to assure him I was ok and he got into the jeep and left.
