The large wooden drawbridge seemed to be out of place yet completely perfect for the castle they were walking up to. Despite its ominous appearance, Neivayka was so exhausted that she was almost happy to see the thick oak wall that enclosed the entrance. They had been heading towards this place for the last four days, they would have been here sooner, but Pete had waited a whole day before admitting they were lost and had been going around in circles. Now, she was tired, dirty, and starving. If Lorimer had been standing out there with a bed, bath, and hot meal, she would have agreed to anything.
