Chapter 110

Neivayka looked out over the ocean in horror. Her place of peace and serenity was now a place of destruction as the tsunami-sized waves crashed along the shoreline. Instead of waking up on the beach as she normally did, she had awoken on a cliff high above, a perfect place to watch the waves destroy the place that she loved.

“No,” she whimpered. “Not here… not this place.”

She felt a presence move towards her and slowly turned her head to look at the newcomer. There were many people she could believe that would be there, that she had seen here and had hoped to see again. This person would never have been one of them.

“Gair?” she whispered, looking at the dark-haired child that seemed to have doubled in size since the last time she had seen him.

He gave her a small, sweet smile. “Hello, sister.”

“What…how… why?” she sputtered out.
