She pushed aside the panic and used the last bit of energy she had to reach inside herself. The mass of Shadow that was infecting her seemed to be going crazy. It shivered and danced around as if everything it touched burned it.


She pushed passed it as hard as she could to grasp at one little strand of light that she managed to find. As soon as her hand met it, the light seemed to expand until it pulled her in, cocooning her into the heart of the ball. The warmth and strength that surrounded her helped calm her tremendously, and for the first time since she encountered the Shadow, she felt the world right itself.
