Still chuckling, he closed his eyes and concentrated, allowing his body to slowly began to expand and grow until he was three times his normal size. Neivayka’s eyes grew wide. She had seen him change several times, but it still kind of stunned her to see the kid she thought of as a ‘little brother’ grow bigger than her. When Pontius opened his eyes, and he gave her wide-eyed look a goofy lopsided grin, showing without a doubt that Pontius was still there.


A loud shout from the courtyard told them that their time had run out. Nesha responded with a bone-chilling howl that even froze the blood in Neivayka’s veins. Pontius’s goofy smile turned darker than she had ever seen it before. In unison, the pair burst through the hedge that surrounded the courtyard and attacked.
