Worse, they had seen us as well. With their loud inhuman screams, that was sure to call all Eaters in a two-mile radius, they began to stagger towards us. We stumbled away from the window with our eyes still glued to the horrendous sight. The Eater’s began to press against it testing the resistance. Our horror turned to outright terror when we realized that the window would never hold under such a bombardment.

As long as the shivering metal door blocked our retreat, we were more trapped than ever before.

“Fuck!” Craig cursed in frustration.
