Keeping her chin tilted down, Erin kicked and punched at the Eater that was trying to pin her down. The blows that Benjamin was delivering were strong enough that it would have knocked a normal man out. He would have succeeded with the Eater as well if it wasn’t for the last one finally making its move and in the process of trying to crawl on top of him it pinned his legs down.


As dire as the situation was it gave me the perfect opportunity to move. I kept myself low and, in a flash, I had the pipe in my hand. Without a second thought I slammed the metal rod into the third Eaters legs. There was a very audible crack as the bone gave way to the metal. The Eater went down hard, but I didn’t wait around to see what happened next.
