Chapter 105

We swerved and burst through the open door seconds before the Eaters were on our tails. I didn’t know where I found the strength, but I managed to slam the door shut in their faces. But our victory was much too short lived, we barely had a moment to breathe before the windows shattered and several of the creatures fell into the room getting instantly trampled by the ones behind them.

Benjamin lifted his shot gun and fired at three of them then he helped a recovered Erin back to her feet. She grabbed a gun out of the back of Benjamin’s pants and began her own barrage of bullets.

“Let’s go!” I shouted grabbing at them.

We fled through the building and spied a large metal door that would surely stop all of them long enough to let us get away. We sped through it and then leaned our bodies against the door to hold it shut as the Eaters proceeded to bombard it again.
