Chapter 104

Erin looked very pale and there was a slight bruising around one of her eyes.

“What happened to you?” I asked her.

“I smacked myself in the face with the armrest,” she said holding it up. “It broke loose when the wing went through the tail end of the plane.”

I rushed out to the boys to find them both sitting up in the seats still holding onto each other. Johnny was the first to get to me since the minute Marcus stood up his legs gave out. I sat on what was left of the floor and held them both to me.

“Mommy, is this almost over with? I’m tired of being scared,” Johnny admitted quietly in my ear sniffling back tears.

“Yes, baby, this is almost over. I’m so proud of you both. You guys are being so brave,” I whispered to them not even bothering to hold back my tears.

Benjamin’s legs bumped into me as he got up. I glanced up in time to see him rush out the back of the plane and promptly vomit… again.
