    I start walking slowly toward her. She looks like she might pass out or bolt. She is staring at the phone in her hand as I approach. I reach out and gently take it from her, and I wind my arm around her waist just as her knees give way. I take her weight as I hand the phone off to Tony.


    "Call Gino. Let them know that he is about to be on the move, and it's confirmed that he has the baby with him. They are not to engage him in any high-speed chase or gunfight unless they have a clear shot. He will be heading for an airport."


    Gabby's body jerks, and she twists to look up at me. "He doesn't have a car seat. He doesn't have a car seat for Cassian. He has him in a car without protection."


    "Shh, it's okay, Tesoro. They are going to follow him and make sure they get where they are going safely."


    "You don't know that. What if they are in an accident?"
