Traitor

When Ena woke up, she was surrounded by iron walls and was tied to a chair with wires attached to them.

'Isn't this a bit too much? Yue, help me out here.'

「 I can't help you with this, it isn't my plot to interfere. 」

'Eh?'

"You like great for someone who just woke up in an electric chair."

The icy voice filled Enas' ears once again.

So this is an electric chair, thought Ena, though isn't this a bit too extreme?

"Isn't this a bit too much?" asked Ena.

"Too much? I don't think so, the others experienced things ten times worse than this. I'd say you're pretty lucky." said the woman.

Ena got a better look at the woman who was speaking, her silver hair, and ocean eyes with a lean figure was standing right next to the iron door.

"That doesn't make me feel any better, why do you even have to put me in this electric chair?" asked Ena.

"For precaution, I didn't forget that you're the princess who made technology that didn't even exist, who knows what type of gadgets you have on you right now." said the woman.

Mentally slapping herself, 'I forgot about that.'

"Who are you?" asked Ena.

"Well, I guess it's time for introductions. I'm Ellie, the Duchess of the Avyanna family." said Ellie.

"Eh?" Ena's heart dropped, her eyes widened, and her jaws were almost touching the floor.

Ena's mind was racing, the Avyanna was helping them? Why? Are they even part of the project? If so, what was she needed for? But there was one question she needed to know, no matter what.

"Did Mary Avyanna, my instructor, know anything about this?" asked Ena.

Ellie gave Ena a smile, "Of course, I sent her to you to spy on you after all. I'm glad you grew to her quickly, the information we gained about your intellect is useful."

Ena felt a sharp pain in her heart, she couldn't believe what Ellie just said. Everything with Mary was a lie...her birthday...her training...the times they had fun together...everything was just a fake?

Looking at Ellie who had a smile on her face, "Why did you betray us?"

"Betray?"

"You said you was a close friend of my father before."

"Ah, yes. I was your father's friend about 5 years before he became king, since then we became close along with 3 others. Although we were close friends, not once had I said that I would follow your father. I would create my own path , your father knows about it too, so you can't say I'm betraying your father when I'm creating my own path." said Ellie walking over to Ena.

Ellie put a finger under Ena's chin and lifted it up, "Tell me the truth, who gathered the documents about the Valor family?"

Ena stared into Ellie's eyes, it held anticipation, calmness, and pleasure.

Pleasure?

"I'm not telling a traitor like you." spat Ena.

Ellie sighed, "I didn't want to do this to a child who has a wonderful body that's still growing."

Ena widened her eyes, 'This person was not only a traitor, but a perver-' Her thoughts were cut short when she felt an electric shock throughout her body, it didn't hurt that much, but it felt like a needle poke her.

She tried activating her chi, but someone it wasn't working.

"Don't try to use your mana or gadget if you have any. This isn't just regular electric, it's mixed with my lightning. With my lightning magic, I can use it to shock the meridians that connect your mana to stop temporarily." said Ellie.

Ena was surprised yet again, "Lightning magic?"

"There's no need for you to know yet, you still haven't answered my question."Getting closer with a controller in one hand, "Who organized the documents?"

Ena gave her a smile, "I'm never telling you." Pain shot up throughout her body, she gasped for breath, and tried to heal herself by using her inner chi. But it was no use, her flow of chi was stuck in one place, and couldn't move.

"This could be so much more easier and less painful for you, but you just have to make it hard for yourself. However, I'm not saying I don't enjoy this either." said Ellie.

A sinister grin revealed her white teeth and 2 sharp fangs in her mouth, it made her seem like a vampire.

Cold sweat dripped from Ena's head, the person in front of her was a sadist, it was her first time encountering one throughout her 2 lifetimes. Out of all types of enemies she went up against, it just had to be the sadistic types, the scariest ones.

"Wai-"

"Too late."

"AH!"

Ena let out a scream in agony as a painful, burning sensation, along with shock filled her entire body. Although it lasted for a brief moment, she was slumped over the chair trying to catch her breath.

She's never felt pain like this throughout her life, she's broken a bone before, but she never felt pain like this, ever. It hurt, she wanted to get out of this electric chair as much as possible, she couldn't bear the pain anymore.

Adrenaline filled her, Ena tried pulling on the chair with her arms, legs, and tried forcing her meridians to open up. But it was no use, this wasn't fiction, this was real life, something as cliche as that wouldn't happen.

After giving Ena one last shock, Ellie lifted Ena's chin, and stared at her in the eyes.

"Who organized the documents?"

Ena took a few deep breaths before speaking, "I-I did."

"I'm serious, don't kid around." said Ellie.

"I'm not kidding, I'm serious too." replied Ena.

Ellie was surprised, she really was, but she had an intuition Alden's other daughter, Alice, wasn't the one who organized these documents. But would've thought that it would be the youngest child, this was amazing indeed.

"It seems like everything Mary said was true." said Ellie with a grin.

"Did you hear that?" asked Ellie.

Then the door suddenly opened, "Of course, how could I miss it?"

Before Ena could get a proper look at the person, a hand grabbed her head, and she felt electric pain throughout her entire body before passing out.
