New Friends
When Ena woke up, she was in an unfamiliar room, and in a bed that wasn't hers. Next to her was a open blanket, meaning the person that was sleeping next to her was already awake. Stepping out of the bed, she made her way towards the door, and opened it revealing a living room.
'Just what type of house is this?'
"You're awake." said Ellie.
Looking over, there was Ellie leaning against the wall sipping her drink.
"Of course, now how did I get here?" asked Ena.
"I thought you said you didn't want to know." said Ellie.
"I don't, it's just weird that I slept in my room, and woke up in another room that isn't mine." said Ena.
"Well, I couldn't tell you since that's never happened to me. But we have more important matters to discuss than your whining." said Ellie.
"I wasn't whining at all and what is it?" asked Ena.
"You'll find out soon, follow me." said Ellie.
Following Ellie, they made their way down the hallway, and made their way in front of a door with three seals on it. Opening it, it revealed a wide room with paintings that hung on the wall, and a huge round table with several figures on the chairs.
Ena didn't recognize any of them except for Marie and Edward.
"If it isn't the eight year old genius, I'm surprised Ellie was actually able to bring you here." said a voice.
Looking over, she didn't recognize the woman in the robe.
"I forgot to introduce myself, I'm Ivy Delmira, duchess of the Delmira family." said Ivy.
The Delmira family, other than their abnormal level of controlling magic, they also have the plant magic. Other than Ena's mother, Ivy Delmira was the other one who gained the ability of plant magic. This woman was dangerous, like really dangerous, the Delmira family was ranked fourth on the rankings.
"No need to look at me like that, it's not like I'm going to wrap you with my plants." said Ivy.
The cold sensation that hit her back didn't help, Ena side stepped to get rid of the cold sensation, but it stayed.
"Calm down Ivy, let's not forget what we're here for." said Ellie.
"You're right, let us all introduce each other." said Ivy.
The 2 other figures introduced themselves,
"I'm Kiri Eirian, duke of the Eirian family." said Kiri.
"Adonis Flora, duke of the Flora family." said Adonis.
Of course, Ena recognized them both.
The Eirian family was known for their ice magic, being able to create ice from nothing, and manipulate it with ease. It was said they could freeze half of the ocean in less than a week if they wanted to which was pretty abnormal. The Flora family was close to the Eirian family since their affinity was quite close.
The Flora family uses water magic, being able to manipulate and create water from nothing too. If the Eirian family do freezes the ocean, the Flora family would be there to bring the water back. From what Ena saw, they looked pretty close to each other with their familiar atmosphere.
"I'm sure you know about us already considering how much Ellie praised you." said Kiri.
"Definitely, Ellie was constantly talking about how much of a genius you were." said Adonis.
"Quit lying to her, I barely spoke about her. It was only that one time when I was introducing her to you guys." said Ellie.
"So you do admit talking about her eh?" asked Ivy.
"You- NO! I'm not into little girls!" said Ellie.
"You're into cute things." said Ivy.
"She's basically calling Ena cute." said Kiri.
"Just admit it already." said Adonis.
"I do admit she's cute, but I don't like he-"
"You admitted it." said Ivy cutting Ellie off.
"She did."
"There's no doubt about it."
Ena, Marie, and Edward could only sit there and watched the small quarrel. Though she didn't know how to feel about someone who's 3 times her age.
But one thought that came to her mind when she thought of Ellie was that she was definitely a pervert. Ena made sure to always stay as far as possible from her, that woman was a sadistic woman who liked cute things, she wasn't going to elaborate on what type of cute things she liked. Just imagining Ellie panting her made her shiver, that woman wouldn't just pat her.
"Alright, we're getting off topic. Let's focus back on what we were discussing." said Edward.
"You're right Edward, Ellie why don't you begin the meeting." said Ivy.
"Alright, first we're officially going to introduce our members. Please give a round of applause to Ena and Marie." said Ellie.
Everyone in the room clapped as Ena along with Marie nodded slightly and took a seat next to each other.
"We already know each other so there's no point introducing each other, so let's move on from that. Our main topic is the letter Alianor gave to Alden, the contents of the letter is crucial for us since it'll provide information we might not know about." said Ellie.
"And how are we supposed to get the letter?" asked Kiri.
"Well, we have the 2 key pieces here, Ena and Marie." said Ellie.
They all let out a. "Ohhh" noise.
"But how are they going to get the letter? You should know Alden isn't dumb considering he is the king." said Ivy.
"That's for Ena to say, would you mind taking over?" asked Ellie.
"Sure, as you all already know, I'm the third child of the Quintus family, and Marie is my maid. It should be easy for us since we know our way around the mansion easier and I've basically memorized every spot unless there was still something hidden that I haven't found out yet." said Ena.
"Plus, they would suspect us the least since we're basically like family. It should be easy for us to avoid any suspicion, but even if we knew all the spots in the residence. It's going to take quite a while to find the letter since the residence is so huge." Marie added.
"Well, we have time I think. Two to three days at most." said Ellie.
"So when do we begin?" asked Ena.
"Now."
"Now?"
"We don't have much time."
'Just why was I reincarnated into a world like this?'
