"Must I live up to their expectations?"



"Yes!" She answered bluntly.



"It is my life, why can I not live it?"



"You are living it, darling. You would not know from the inside." she gently rubbed the bloody knife on the slice of bread and then on her tongue.



She gulps, looks away and then continues."...Why am I not allowed to love whosoever I want to love?."



She scrowled."Because-"



"What if I do not like my people?..."



There was silence. She had just interrupted the queen...Total disrespect. Her heart rate increased, she felt like it would burst out of her chest."



"Dear child, it is either you bend," she drops the knife and clasps her hands."...Or you BREAK! Now leave!"
